Tom was sliding through the halls, having fun doing it. He then heard some yelling and decided to walk towards the voices.

 

Amaya (Her friends call her Aya for short by the way) saw right through Amy's false smile. "Hey Amy... Whats up Kid? Are you ok?"
(She calls everyone 'kid' Its a term of indearment to her.)

Aiden laughed and pulled Angel closer to him. "Hope? Isn't that Angel's crazy red-head sister?" he pushed the knife aside. "Anyway, this here is Angel. Got it memorized? And she likes walking with me so step off." It was clear that Angel was uncomfortable but even if she had tried to pull away from him, he wouldn't have noticed.

 

"Hey you," Tom yelled down the hall, "Can't you see she wants you to let her go?"

 

Aiden smirked, he liked a good fight "Why don't you make me!?" he called back to him.

 

"Cause you don't want me to," Tom yelled. A minute and a half since they met, and already this guy was getting on his nerves.

 

Aiden just rolled his eyes, in truth, he didn't want to get into a fight outnumbered anyway. He was just talking shit. He grabbed Angel's chin and studied her face for a moment before pushing her back a little. "This aint worth my time anyway." he said irritably. "And by the way, if you don't want someone to take advantage of her you shouldn't let her go wandering dark halls looking like a space cadet." he mockingly saluted Angel and then started to walk away.

 

Tom had to restrain himself from going after Aiden from his last comment. He walked up to Angel, "Are you okay? He didn't hurt you did he?"

 

"Well if he does hurt you, tell me immediately," Tom told her, "I don't want him to harm you in any way."

 

"Wait a sec. You should be allowed to do whatever you want and not worry about people like him," Tom told her, "The way I see it, you have more of a right to do so than he does."

 

"Of course," Tom smiled, "Shining knight and all."

 

"Well, there are a few things in the job desription that I don't think many people know," Tom laughed.

 

"Well let's see," Tom said, pretending to pull out a list, "Always there, never loses, handsome..."

 

"And which one am I missing? Hmm?" Tom asked her, guessing what she would say.
