"I've bamed myself since the night my grandparents were taken. But I came here and saw you, I knew at that moment that you were a good person. I wanted to keep you and your friends safe, then I became one of your friends..." Will smiled. "I wanted to keep you safe no matter what, that's why.."

 

"I've took most of your punishments at school." Will explained, pulling up the legs of his jeans, showing to large scars through his calfs. "I was forced to stop halfway through freshmen year, the principle put a knife through each leg and told me to stop taking your punishments but I said no." Will's face went dark. "He then twisted the knives until I said I would stop." Will's face was suddenly dark.

Will picked Sara up, holding her in his arms. "Here, it will be warmer closer to the fire." Will said as he strode towards the fire, noticing that the girl still had Hope by the hair. "Let her go!" The anger in Will flared.

 

"Jesse!" Will exlaimed, running over to help him. " Why don't you leave us alone, we have enough problem right now!" Will shouted at the girl.

 

Aiden and Amaya were walking through the children's park. The sirens were still shreaking all through the city. The two of them passed as adults because of how old they looked so nobody stopped them. Amaya suddenly stopped, listening past the sirens.

Aiden was starting to sober a little from the alcohol, he was starting to be a little more sincere. "What is it sis?"

"SHHHH! Listen... do you hear that?"

Aiden stopped, listening he heard someone shouting somewhere in the forest. It sounded like an argument. "What do you think it is?"

"Maybe the kids who crashed town earlier?"

"Oh... maybe we should go check it out."

Amaya nodded and the two of them walked silently into the forest.

 

Cidd walks in the cave with a breifcase and says "if you want her to get better tell me all about her." Cidd looks at Will and nods, "Yes, the girl in your arms."

 

"Maybe, but I would like to think that it is different someplace else," but then Tom began to think about everybody else, "Of course if we do run away, we would be abandoning everybody, and I don't want to do that."

 

"Well let's get back to them," Tom told her, "I bet they are worried sick about us."

 

"Umm I think so," Tom said, "They were in a cave near here, right?"
