Halloween Bash 1st Round Match - Desert Warrior vs. Curtis8494

Will knew now that his only way to fight was to give into the beast within him. But he could still try ice. As he covered the ground below him in ice to protect from the hellburst, he lifted his sword. "Icicle Rain!" He roared, slowly changing as icicles started raining down from the sky. This would continue for about 5 minutes, giving Will a distraction as he charged at the demon again, wolf form already at the fore.

Truthfully, it's difficult to really come down to a strong judgment here. The both of you stand at a roughly even spot in all regards, and both of you pretty much have the same things to address as RPers. Mainly, I can only tell the both of you to really nail things a bit more on the infamous (yet very needed) mechanical definition. Just a little more backing to explain why certain things are working as they are, because honestly, there were a few moments in this battle that had my eyebrow raised in confusion.

In DW's case, the instance here is the claim that Hellfire "cannot be extinguished."

For Curtis, it's the use of fire to disperse spirits that left me uncertain.

Of course, I am able to reason both of those according to my own interpretation, but still, am left unsure that either of you have kept those thoughts in mind.

Now, given that I am, at this time, incapable of coming to a decision on this on my own, I'd like to propose (and Requiem is free to over rule me on this) a "sudden death" tie breaker. This will be done as such: the both of you shall create your own posts (one per person) under the hypothetical situation that your opponent has conceded the match, and allowed you to finish off their character. As such, the posts you are to construct will be "kill posts," in which you will go through the process by which your character goes about laying the final, death-dealing blow unto their foe (so Will would be killing Dullahan, and vice versa). Upon completion of your post, you are to PM them to me (DO NOT POST THEM HERE. PERIOD) and also Requiem (if desired). They will be judged on the basis of writing ability displayed, creativity, and, in the spirit of the tournament, the "fright factor."

Assuming that Requiem has no objection to this decision, your posts will be due in my PMs (and possibly Requiem's) by Wednesday October 20th (there will be some allowance to account for timezones of course).

No qualms here, commence with the suddenly dying.

Stop me if I'm going too fast... but it is, on my clock, passed the deadline for the sudden death posts to be sent in. As I've gotten nothing from Curtis, I am inclined now to name Desert Warrior the victor of this battle.
