"Lumaria..." She held the key in her hand. "I couldn't potentially take any of these. I'm not worthy enough. I'm merely just visiting, and will be visiting a few other times. Where as something like this you could give to a good friend you'd see all the time or even like a girl friend or something." Angel said.

"The ring especially seems like a wedding ring of your parents, I couldn't take them. And if the key was made by your father specially for you to access this place, this wonderful, beautiful place you call home, then I just couldn't take it. I'm just a stranger." Angel told him.

 

Angel sat there confused and looked at him. Any normal person would probably be afraid but she wasn't. Her heart wasn't. She could feel his tears falling onto her lap.

"It's alright..." She said hugging him back as her heart seemed to take over her reaction versus her mind. She held him in a tight hug. "They'd want you to be happy. They loved each other, I can tell, they'd want you to find your own happiness in the world, make many friends, and find love. It's ok..." She told him. She held him tight in a hug.

"It's ok..." She told him as she herself began crying. She wasn't completely sure why, she just did. She was just... so sad.

 

Angel was slightly startled some and looked at him.

"I...I..." She looked at the locket. She shook her head. "I'd be happy to be your friend, but I don't think that locket is a friendship locket. I think it's supposed to be for the one you're destined to love and be with. Perhaps I can help you find her." Angel said smiling when loud bells could be heard ringing.

"Is it really that late already?" Angel said aloud confused. She looked at a watch on her wrist and quickly jumped up. "Oh crap, my dad is so going to freak!" Angel exclaimed. She looked at Lamaria.

 

"Ummm..." Angel said during the awkward hug before smiling and hugging him back. "Of course. We're friends now!" She exclaimed smiling at him before running off waving good bye so she could head back home.

She found her father standing at a truck with Scrooge.

"Dad! I'm sorry I'm late, I was hanging out with a new friend." Angel said out of breath as her father turned to smile at her.

"It's alright, just glad I didn't have to go out on a search party. Everything's just about set up here, so we can move on to the next place." Her father told her.

"Wait, you mean we won't be coming back here?" Angel asked. Her father shook her head. Angel looked at him in disbelief when Isa and Lea came out of the freezer where they were carrying ice cream off the truck into.

"Hey look it's Angel, got bored with Lumaria?" Lea asked.

"What how come?!" Angel yelled at her father catching Lea off guard.

"We don't need to. Everything's set up. Scrooge likes this place so he's even moving here so he'll be taking care of it." her father told her.

"But... but... but dad!" Angel exclaimed. "I made a new friend here, and made a promise to him! I said I'd come back. He doesn't have any really good friends."

"Hey!" Lea exclaimed as Isa laid a hand on his shoulder.

"We don't have a need to."

"It's alright, perhaps you can send her and I can watch over her. She can stay for the weekend with Uncle Scrooge!" Scrooge butted in. "I could always use the extra hand too." Scrooge said smiling. Hishobi looked at Angel giving him pleading eyes before sighing.

"Fine, once a month, you can come. You have to be on your best behavior and help Scrooge." Her father told her.

"For real!" Angel exclaimed smiling wide.

"Yes, but don't make me regret that decision." Her father told her smiling.

"Yeah!" Lea exclaimed jumping up and down causing Isa to start laughing the group.


Angel followed her father out to the gumi ship hidden outside of town so nobody would find it or discover they were from a different world. They said good bye to Scrooge and climbed on board the gumi ship.

Angel sat by the window watching the scene from outside her window zoom past as she reached into her pocket she felt something unique and different. She looked over at her father asleep pulling out whatever was in her pocket and she was surprised by what she saw. She held the locket out in front of her feels tears flow down her face. She smiled at the locket clasping it in her hand and holding her hands at her heart. She looked outside and smiled.

"I promise, Lumaria." She said.

3 Years Later...​

Hishobi kept up his promise to his daughter allowing her to stay with Scrooge to hang out with her friends of Radiant Garden. Once a month she went for a weekend, it soon became every weekend as she grew particularly close to Lumaria.

She became very close to Lea, Isa, and especially Lumaria. Often the four of them would be hanging out all over town, Lea attempting to spread his fame, Isa shaking his head, Lumaria and Angel laughing at both of them.

Anytime they got though, Angel and Lumaria hung out by themselves in the secret garden. They were more than friends, more than best friends. They were quite sure what they were to one another, but they would learn over time.

Angel~❤~Lumaria​

"I can't believe your dad is having you go for an entire time to spend with your Uncle Scrooge." A black hair girl said as an older Angel was packing her suit case.

"I can't believe it neither. I'm super excited though, you have no idea!" Angel said smiling.

"I wish I could go to another world, make a ton of friends, fall in love..." Angel threw a pillow at her best friend. "What?"

"Lumaria and I are not a couple. He's 16, I'm 12. Though he says I act older than my age, we're not a couple." Angel stated.

"Lumaria, even sounds like a romantic name. I wish I could go with you. You should take another suit case and hide me in it." Her best friend said.

"Selena, you're not even supposed to know other worlds exist. My dad would freak learning you knew." Angel told her friend, Selena.

"So what?" Selena said getting a glare from Angel. "What?"

"You know though, I wish you could go. There's a boy there named Lea that you remind me of." Angel told her.

"Wait I thought you said Lea was this crazy guy who fought people and made friends with people so he can become well known all over." Selena said.

"Precisely."

"Hey! I'm not crazy!" Selena exclaimed causing Angel to laugh. She reached up and touched a locket that hung around her neck. It always hung around her neck, she never took it off and never would let people touch it. It was her most prized possession despite telling it's rightful owner that the day he meets the girl he's destined to be with, he has to give it to her.

"Angel, are you ready?" Angel heard her father come up.

"Yeah dad, I'll be right down!" Angel called down turning to her best friend practically her sister and hugging her tightly.

"I'll miss you." Selena said Angel exchanging the same comment as the two girls headed downstairs. Selena said her goodbyes to Angel's family before leaving. Angel then said her goodbye to her mother and followed her father out to their backyard in the woods where he hid their gumi ship.



Meanwhile...

"Ok so how much munny do we got?" Lea asked. Isa pulled out his own pouch and threw it down on the table of their hangout- an abandoned house all boarded up. Here Isa and Lea lived while Lumaria still lived at the garden.

"I collected about 600 munny this week." Isa said.

"600?! That's it?!" Lea exclaimed.

"That's a lot, Lea. How much did you collect?" Isa asked back.

"A lot more than that!" Lea exclaimed taking out his pouch and counting his munny. "I collected 548 munny." Lea said with pride.

"Hey doufus, that's less than what I collected." Isa stated. Lea looked at him and then realized it too.

"Oh man!" Lea moaned before turning and looking at Lumaria. "How about you, how much did you collect Lumaria?" Lea asked. Isa turned and looked at his friend surely deep in thought. The big deal for collecting munny was for this reason.

Their good friend was coming in town and would be spending the entire summer with them. Lea planned to use the munny to throw a party, Isa knew though, all that was on Lumaria's head was the fact of seeing her again.

 

"Lea... you are pathetic." Isa said.

"What, when you got 100 munny one day, and poet here for 300 in one day, and I got 0 munny I decided I didn't want to be pathetic." Lea said pushing Lumaria off of him. "I'll get better one day though, I promise."

"Or you could just do the work. Mr. McDuck gives me bonuses for never taking breaks." Isa told him.

Angel sat on the ship and saw as the ship approached Radiant Garden and landed. Angel quickly stood up with her suit case in hand. She ran outside looking all around but turned back to the gumi ship as her father stood there.

"Now remember what I told you. The reason I'm letting you come out here all summer is you're going to be working at the shop as your first summer job." Her father told her.

"Yep!" Angel exclaimed wanting to head off to the mansion then to find the guys.

"No goofing off. Stay focus. Don't let Lea influence your work habits, take after Isa or Lumaria. Also don't spend every day of the summer off with Lumaria, I don't want to have to worry about any problems." Her father said.

"Dad!" Angel moaned getting tired of the hint about the girl friend boy friend talk. "We're just really, really good friends." Angel said.

"I know honey." Her father said hugging her daughter and kissing her on the forehead. "Be good or you'll be getting a one way permanent ticket back to Twilight Town where there you will be grounded for forever." Her father told her. Angel nodded her head and watched her father reboard the ship as it took off into flight. She waved it good bye before heading into town.

She came to the giant mansion in the richer part of town, Scrooge being there instantly to welcome her.

"You're going to have so much fun this summer. I have your work schedule all lined up. You'll be working from 9 to 5 just like Lea and Isa. Though I want you taking breaks unlike Isa, ok?" Scrooge told her. Angel nodded her head and smiled at him.

"Yes, uncle scrooge." Angel told him. "I'm going to head out now though to find the guys." Angel said before running off.

Isa watched as Lea sat there with a pout on his face.

"Anyways, with everything figured out we have 2048 munny. For food in one day for the three of us that's about 150 munny. So that leaves us with 998 munny. Then take out the spare change Lea finds and 300 munny, and that's 600 munny." Isa said.

"That's a lot, perfect for the party." Lea said smiling.

"But, remember what we discussed, Lea?" Isa asked leaving Lea to grin and wrap his arm around Lumaria.

"You and Angel have been closer than friends for 3 years now. Now most would complain that she's a kid, and you're pretty much an adult. We disagree, you two were meant to be a couple the way you flirt with her and think about her and the way she follows you around and her very reason for coming here is you, you two we decided need to hook up this summer." Lea said.

"So of this remaining munny, and every week, 500 munny is being set aside for you to do something really nice with Angel." Isa said.

"That leaves us with 100 munny. It's enough for a cake!" Lea exclaimed.

"Which I already picked up, I just own the baker 100 munny." Isa said as he took all the munny and set them aside in their rightful jars hidden in a cabinet. He walked over with a pouch with the 500 munny and gave it to Lumaria.

"Hey guys, I see her!" Lea exclaimed looking out through a space in the wood.

Sure enough Angel was walking towards the hangout place.

 

Angel was quickly attacked by her friend but she couldn't help from laughing.

"I can't wait!" Angel exclaimed when she saw Lea run out next and hug her.

"Yes! Now summer's really kicking off, and you're going to be working at the ice cream shop, I'll teach you everything I know!" Lea exclaimed.

"Which isn't much since you never work." Isa said coming out to greet Angel next. "We have a little something for you inside." Isa said ushering the group inside. Angel looked around the building.

"I've been away for a month, and after I helped you spring clean this place, already it's a mess, what the heck Lea?" Angel said turning to him.

"What me?! Isa lives here too."

"Yeah but his stuff is real neat, over in your corner there comics laying all over the place, the bed is a mess and there's a mouse hiding under your bed." Angel pointed out not in the bit unfazed.

"A mouse?" Lea walked over and picked up a mouse by the tail. "Heh how about that?" Lea said before flicking the mouse outside.

"Anyways, just a little something to kick start the best summer ever." Isa said opening up the box revealing the cake. On the cake were a ton of flowers. "Lumaria's idea of course since you guys like going to those gardens." Isa said,

"It's great I really like it, thanks guys." Angel said as they sat down around the table, Angel sitting right next to Lumaria.

 

"Hey, I do what I do." Lea said shrugging. "I'm Lea remember, L-E-A, got it memorized?"

"Yes, Lea, we've had it memorized for a long time." Angel told him taking a slice of the cake.

The four friends ate their cakes talking and joking with one another.

"I am stuff." Lea said.

"Probably because you've had four slices when the rest of us had one maybe two." Isa pointed out. Angel couldn't help but giggle.

"You know what, whatever." Lea pouted.

"Anyways, so Lumaria weren't you going to show Angel something? Tonight's a full moon so there should be enough light to go see it." Isa nudged on Lumaria.

"I have to check back in by 11, but I can sneak out of my bedroom afterwards to. It's 10:45 now." Angel said looking at her watch.

"That sounds like a good idea. You can enjoy it much longer then." Isa said trying to get Lumaria to take advantage of the situation.

 

Lea looked at him and then at Angel who shrugged.

"Alright then, but you owe me, man." Lea said as they left.

"So again tell me how long you're here?" Lea asked Angel as they walked to the mansion.

"Till my town's school goes back in session. That means I have 124 days. I'd rather enjoy everyday with you guys versus counting down." She told him.

"Who needs school. I don't go, Isa schedules out of books, but not me." Lea said.

"And look at where you're at now. Besides I do have friends back at home." She told him.

"Not as awesome as us." Lea pointed out again.

"This is true to an extent. My best friend, Selena, though would kill me if I didn't come back home." Angel said when they got to the mansion. "Ok just go around back. I'll scale down the vines. I'll probably be out in a little, need to make sure Scrooge is asleep and make sure he thinks I'm asleep." Angel said.

"Ok but don't take too long." Lea said as she went inside. She walked upstairs and knocked on the door of Scrooge's study. Sure enough the duck was sitting in a love chair asleep.

"Uncle Scrooge." Angel whispered until he got a little awareness out of him. "I'm heading off to bed, ok?" She said. "Good night." She walked upstairs to a separate tower which she got to call home. She walked up the spiral stairs and opened the door. The room was kind of small, but perfect for her. She walked in and closed the door behind her making sure to lock it as well. She made her way over to the window and opened it up. Century old vines grew on the wall, they were super thick and she knew they weren't going anywhere as she began climbing down them. She jumped off them once she was 7ft off the ground and she landed safely catching herself. She looked over and saw Lea. As the two began to head back.


"Lumaria, I didn't plan anything. Tonight it's crystal clear, the full moon makes everything even clearer, it's just a beautiful night. Enjoy it with Angel. Take her around town, spend someone on one time. I personally if it was the girl of my dreams would take her to the fountains to watch them, maybe even play around in it since nobodies around to yell at you. After that I would take her to the gardens or where ever you two hang out and just relax enjoy each other's company, basking in her beauty. Perhaps tell her some of that new poetry you wrote, the ones you've been making so much munny off of, aren't they about her? From there then just find a nice place to camp out under the stars pointing out the different legends and heroes until you both fall asleep. The ice cream shop is closed tomorrow so none us work and Scrooge knows Angel's rebellious so he doesn't completely watch her, so tomorrow all day, spend the entire day together. Lea and I will be working on odd end tasks, so just hang out with her." Isa told him.

"Lumaria, just do me a favor. I want you both to move past this friendly stage in the next two weeks. After that is the awkward stage, spend as little time in that stage as possible. After that I want you both to officially be a thing. Then after that you should be inseparable." Isa told him when he heard Lea's loud obnoxious voice approaching.

 

Lunatics took Angel's hand in excitement causing her to smile as he started to lead her through the streets and she ran alongside him to whereever he was taking her. She saw as they were approaching the fountain court.

Angel looked at him an eye brow raised before laughing.

"Yeah, I can do that." Angel told him as she closed her eyes.

Angel opened her eyes right when it struck midnight.

The whole fountain lit up as the full moon moved into the right possession.She was awe struck.

"Lumaria, this is... Beautiful... Thanks for showing me this." She said when she walked up to the edge of the water and looked at the flat surface of the water looking down at the reflection of the night sky.

"This is perfect." She said. "The falls reflecting the light, then the reflection of the whole sky, just... Wow..."
