    Hope was shaking, despite wether or not she woud admit it... she was afraid of him. Her memories of him when she was a child and she lived with him haunted her dreams. But she wouldn't give him the satisfaction of knowing it. She growled, "NO! Why are you doing this?!" she asked desprately. "What do you want from me!?"

    Kairi smiled, "We should probably go find Sora and the King... they'll know what to do about Riku."

    Hope understood now... he didn't ever want it to end. He regretted killing her mother because her pain ended. Thats why he would never stop following her... thats why he only hurt those she loved. "... I hate you."

    "so hope, i'm going to kill riku now." xehanort snapped his fingers and suddenly riku appeared on a black cross as flames began to engulf his feet.

    "NO!" Hope suddenly shouted. She closed her eyes tightly and suddenly the spell on Riku was broken. She looked suprised, 'How did I do that?' she thought to herself. She shook her head, "I will not stand by and watch you kill any more innicent people because of me." she said stubbornly.

    Kairi and Jake walked in silence for a moment and then Kairi said, "...I don't think she is dead, Jake. Thats not how the heartless work."

    Hope didn't say anything, she was shaking so badly that her sword shook in her hands as she pointed it at Xehanort. Though she hated him... he was the only father she had ever known. "Go... away."

    Kairi shrugged, "Sora stabbed himself with a keyblade... I was afraid that he was dead at first but it turns out that he only turned into a heartless. Maybe that is the case with Rose... heartless wepons work differently than mortal ones do."

    Hope gasped, "STOP IT!" she screamed. She couldn't believe it, Xehanort had won again. Tears ran down her face as she watched her new friend... the closest friend she ever had dying. She knelt down next to him. "Riku, hold on... please. I'm so sorry... I can fix this."

    Kairi blushed a little, "I hope I get the chance to know her some day..." she said again.

    Hope rolled across the ground a few times because of the kick. She was laying on the ground. She groaned and moved to stand up, "...no. I am nothing like you. I don't like to see death... I'm sick of death and I'm sick of you."
