It's more me than the word. I don't like to use slang, as I was told quite often as a child that slang is not for the sophisticated gentleman. It is the same with the word "ain't", not pronouncing the "g" in -ing words, and other such atrocities of the English language. Granted, as an adult I have learned that what I was told as a child is not necessarily true (before everyone jumps down my throat), I still do not like to use these words.
