Elements: The Unknown Arts

"Really, so you're from Earth, I use to be from Earth, but then I- nevermind, it's kind of sad to regular people, if I were told it I would be, heck I was when I did die, oh oops." Nicole said realising she did just say she died. She sighed and rubed her forehead.

"I lived on the normal world then when I died I lived in like an alternate dimension still connected to Earth, but not with humans, but with teh dead." Nicole said. "I'm here to learn the powers I got upon arriving there." Nicole told him.

 

"You are." Tom smirked. He shot fire and lightning into the orb, causing it to be unstable. "Still don't understand. Why do you think you fire isn't very hot?" The orb Will was making started to fall apart, shooting the elements everywhere. Tom quickly brought up a wall of stone around him and Will so the elements that fell apart wouldn't hit anybody.

Then Windol came and gave them detention. "Sure thing." Tom said about the detention. "By the way, there's a student over there." Tom pointed to the guy he beat earlier, "He's kinda stuck in the ground. He's been there for a few minutes. You might want to get him out."

 

The orb exploded in Will's face, shooting him through the hall and into a wall, Will sliding heavily to the ground. He grunted in pain, trying to stand up. All the bones in his body cracked as he stood, knuckles crackingloudly. He spit blood to the side and turned, strolling off to detention.

 

"I can go back to Earth, but I look like this." Nicole said. Her body glowed and she could be seen through. Her skin was now real pale. She snapped her fingers and she looked human again.

"I can't use my powers on Earth or in this form only that special form not on Earth, plus I can only use it for good and a great cause." Nicole told him.

"I ended up dieing with no cause, I don't know what they are, but I'm sure doctors know after examining my bodies, since I died I never returned back to Earth, I had some bad memories there, I was an orphan, beaten up, adopted by many parents, majority of them abused me and were arrested, I guess from all teh abuse and stress I died from that." Nicole told him. She went her ghostly appearence and in the palm of her hand appeared a little orb she tossed it in the air and caught it throwing up in teh air catching it and repeating it. She waited to find out what she had to do or where to go from that person Samuel was talking to.

 

Tom laughed as he and Will went to detention. They were being followed by a professor, so they couldn't start fighting again. "Do you understand what I've been saying little cousin? Now, if you'd have listened to me before, you wouldn't be hurt like that. But, since I'm a nice person, I'll teach you how to better control that orb. Of course, I'll still be able to overwhelm it."

 

Will spat at Tom, blood splattering onto the tiles in front of Tom's feet. "I have better morals than you. You just always need to find a way to be right or better." He growled, walking forward into the room they had to sit in. Tom mocked him because he didn't feel it was worth it to pass the classes. He was failing all classes because he slept rather than worked.

 

"Let's get a few things straight." Tom said to Will. "One. I don't need to find a reason to be right or better because I already am. And I have the same morals as you. As I said before. You need to live your life, not mine. And I'm trying to help you. That's why I brought up your fire not being hot."

 

"I am living my life. That's why I'm failing and your not and also why I have different friends than you." He growled, dropping into his seat. He brushed a bit of dust from his hoodie and looked at Tom. "How did you throw it off balance so easy?" He asked, curious about this trick his cousin knew.

 

"Simple really." Tom said. "I overloaded it. I've noticed you haven't had control in keeping things stable. So it wasn't much. Which brings me to your fire." He opened up his hand. Regular fire formed in his palm. "Your fire looks like this. You can tell how hot a fire is by it's color. This color is fire at its coldest." The fire in Tom's hand went from red to orange to yellow to green to blue. "Now, as you can see, this fire is much hotter than yours." The fire turned to purple, then white very quickly. "My fire, on the other hand, is white. White fire is the absolute hottest fire can get." Tom glanced down at the desk. "If you notice, this desk is melting from the heat." Tom sent the fire away.

 

Will clicked his fingers, charging energy into his hands. The fire slowly turned from red to orange then yellow and finally green. He started to sweat from the strain of excerting so much energy but he wouldn't stop. He continued until it flickered blue and finally white before going out quickly. "How can you do that? It takes such a toll on your abilities!" He said.

 

>Blue fire is hotter than green fire.<

"Because I'm awesome." Tom smirked. "It takes alot of training. Of course, being able to learn things easily helps too. Don't worry. I'm sure you'll get it someday."

 

Will grinned. They actually got along, they just need not catch each other at the wrong time. "Tom, why is it we fight so much?" He asked. He thought it might be that the death of Will's sister and messed with them both but it could just be natural competition between them.

 

"Because you try to live my life." Tom said. "Didn't I explain this earlier? You try to be as smart as me. You deliberately learned how to use all the elements after I started using them all. And there is some source of rage in your life. That's why."

 

Cael sighed and shook his head. Why? Why did people have to fight so much? Suddenly, a new scent filled the air. It smelled like... human. I transformed into my wolf form and headed in that direction. Why in the world was a human here?!

 

Nicole looked at Samuel, she stepped infront and she went normal.

"Come and get me." She said. She knew the wolf would be at a disadvantage screatch or bite as much as it wanted she'd feel a lot of pain, but she wouldn't die or anything. She made her hand turn ghostly and threw a ghostly power energy orb at the wold knocking it back.

 

Cael stopped a few feet from Samuel and transformed back into his human form. Cael looked Samuel up and down. He pulled his lips back in a snarl. "A human? What are you doing here? Humans can't control elements! Who are you?"

 

Nicole went normal.

"Oh cool, a trasformation guy, and what do you mean humans can't control elements, I was once human now I can control I guess an element, he's got power, so why's it matter to you?" Nicole asked standing up for Samuel.

"Oh and sorry about the orb." Nicole told the wolf. She turned and saw her hand had an orb in it again and it was ghostly she tried to make it go normal, it stayed the same. She threw the orb at the ground but couldn't get her hand to go normal.

"Great..." Nicole said.

"The orb was fine. It didn't even hit me." He looked back at Samuel. "Sorry if I snapped at you. Humans were never my favorite species. Anyway, what's your name?"
