It's like alcohol. Beer tastes crap, why do I drink it?

Anyway, New Years everyone pretty much gets pissed faced. Why? Everyone else is doing it.

Like school, Hate it, Love it. It's not going to matter, you're still attending right? Why? Everyone else is doing it. No one's really stopping you, it's all up to you to want to go or not yet everyone still goes.

And I would rather be happier with a coke as well =]

 

Lots of people are wanting to ban it (alcohol I assume you are talking about), but since the government gets a mass income from it, it'll be hard.
Illicit drugs are banned yes (that's why they're illicit ) but there's always a source.

The best they can do is limit ages for the time being. (18 here and there and 21 for some other places)

 

Oh, it's already expensive as it is. Trust me on that one.
And if they increase prices, they need to make a reason. And if prices are higher, they will lose money since less people will buy, so there's an income bust there. Completely banning it there'll be no income what so ever.

 

And secondly there would thousands of complaints every day if they banned it. This would bring an uprise or sokmething, it would still have bad side effects.

Not sure how much Mafia gets involved in this thread, but yes, they did conflict themselves with drugs. But it was mainly an organised crime syndicate in general so not drugs specifically.

Usually their main concern is getting caught by authorities, also they want to get back Home. Drink Driving occurs after a night out that's unplanned and you do not have a designated driver or extra cash for a cab. Sometimes a depression thing where someone storms away from something in their home and brings along a bottle and drives to drink and drive problems away.
Most of the times it's just plain stupidity with Hoons wanting to Hoon around in cars because they are drunk.
