The sound of the anchor being lifted startled some of the soldiers and crew members at first, but then they lined up in rows, awaiting instruction. Seaxbrith stood up in front of the recruits, placing his arms behind his back, "Privates. Settle." He announced. Seaxbrith had been appointed as the role of the Lieutenant on this voyage, and so took his place as the authority the crew needed.
"I am Lieutenant L'Argeirda. I am working under the captain of this vessel, and the main reason I am here- Riechfield. Now, as one of your commanding officers, you as mere infantrymen... FOOTSOLDIERS, will obey my every word, as well as your captain/general's."

 

Garek stood in the lines, not knowing what to do. Was he a soldier or just a bystander? He stood there, listening to the captain, just in case. He looked around him and saw dolphins jump out of the water. He smiled and turned towards his father, who assured him away from the meeting. He took him up to the top brig where the ship was controlled. Garek took hold of the wheel.
"You can take it for a spin if you want" his father told him. Garek nodded and started to guide the ship through the waves.

 

Seaxbrith stood straight, arms behind his back still, and his head pointing out as if to salute the captain.
"As I was requested, sir. Have you listened to me before, I would've made it clear to you that I've been specified to work lieutenant duties, sir. Excuse me if I've originated a complication, General Riechfield, one does only but follow his orders." He said, deep inside hoping none of the soldiers had saw or heard him.

 

"Dude, lighten up." Silva said as he came down from the crow's nest. "Both of you really. He's trying to get discipline and your trying to enforce it on him. Nothing wrong with it but you both should lighten up. Anyways, Riechfield, what's going to be the plan for when we land at Endor?" Silva was wondering about the trip, everything seemed way too calm.

 

Unlike the soldiers, Seaxbrith noticed a shift in the water that caused the ship to 'wobble'. His eyes widened and met with Riechfield outside by the railing, who had seemed to already have picked up on the disturbance as well.
"I suppose that a bunyip would be most likely settled in a more gelid environment with cooler waters, so what are we talkin' here? Leviathans... a Kraken?" Seaxbrith asked in a hushed tone as not to alert the others and concern them.
"If you don't mind, before getting into anything hazardous, may we at least try to stay true and progress on course with out... a struggle? I don't want to unsettle the crew..." He said. Seaxbrith knew that if they could at least try and pass whatever this sea-creature was, not only would it be less risky, but it wouldn't scare the crew, as he had said. They were rookies, and if they didn't know they were at a danger of being killed, it would a lot less stress off of them, though Seaxbrith knew his orders and would stand by Riechfield, even if he wanted to confront the beast.

Suddenly three more shadows in the water, appeared coming from east, west and south. Garek noticed this and shouted, "Guys we have trouble! They're coming from all directions"
Suddenly four dark skinned octopuses with red eyes appeared, looking infuriated and struck down the ship's energy supply first. The steam pipe. They started to rip the ship apart with their tentacles. Garek looked around in frustration, looking for a weapon but could not find one. Instead, he focused on his magic and conjured a ball of fire and thrown it at one octopuses' tentacles. The tentacles whipped it away and hit the deck, causing it to burn the deck. The octopuses' eyes glowed and it flared dramatically and soon the ship started to spark into flame. The octopus, that he had hit with a fire attack suddenly got angry with Garek and attempted to strike down Garek but Katie pushed him away. Katie was struck down and fell unconscious. The octopuse's eye twitched and it smiled, as it grabbed the girl.
"HEY!!!" Garek shouted, desperately trying to think of a solution. He tried to throw fireballs at the creature but his attempts failed. Everyone else was preoccupied with the fire or the other octopuses. The octopus, unphazed by the attacks took Katie and swam away.
"NO!!!"
Garek jumped off the ship and dived into the water, even with his heavy duty training clothes on but he couldn't swim as fast as the creature because of his clothes. It was no use. The octopus swam away.

 

Avoiding the flame, Seaxbrith rushed over to Garek, a float in the sea, "Private!" He exlaimed amongst the screaming and mild explosions "There's nothing we can do for her... I'm sorry." He said softly, knowing the pain of loosing a loved one, Now please, we need you to get to the superior-deck! Regroup with a squad and I'm sure Riechfield will take care of the rest!" Seaxbrith yelled, turning around to Riechfield who had followed him, "Sir, what's my current endeavor? What do you need me to DO?" He asked, a light Scottish accent running through words.

 

((OOC: Yeah, sorry, it was late when I wrote that. lol, edited it though.))

IC: After his current orders had been received, like a robot, Seaxbrith darted below-deck, swinging himself off the railing, and shooting down to floor, with out wasting any time merely walking down the stairway.
"You, Riechfield's orders are to repair those leaks!" He yelled at the engineer below, being not particularly angry at the man, but anxious.
"Sir," The engineer replied, "The beast penetrated the floor, at this rate the ship'll capsize soon enough" He said.
"Look, we need to do our best, do we know any mages on board that may be able to control the flow of the water?" Seaxbrith asked before a familiar voice yelled down to him.
"Seaxbrith get up here! I need some assistance!" Riechfield exclaimed. Seaxbrith's eyes had widened, this must've been bad. "Stay here, and do what ever is in your power to resolve the leak-problem." He said to the engineer, hopping up to the surface by using his thief-abilities.
Surfacing from below-deck, Seaxbrith was in awe at to how many waves of them there were.
"Sir... what are they?" He asked, not knowing if these things were even human.


((OOC: Remember that Seaxbrith also has the ability to turn invisible.))

 

Seaxbrith nodded, and pulled out his finger-claws, slipping one on each hand. He then began to run behind Riechfield until-- Seaxbrith had vanished. Seaxbrith wasn't a mage, but he did have an ability that would always give him the advantage in close combat. Seaxbrith had the power to turn invisible to everyone at will.
Seaxbrith got a firm grip on his finger-claws and swiftly jumped onto one of the flying DragonMen's backs, with out the beast knowing because of his light-weight gravity effect. Quietly, Seaxbrith took his hand and slashed the DragonMan's spine hopping to another airborne one as that DragonMan fell into the ocean. Dead.
Seaxbrith killed six more with out any of the other DragonMen noticing until he landed on what seemed to be the superior of the group who grabbed Seaxbrith by his wrist and flung him to the water.

 

Seaxbrith's head throbbed and he had the feeling he was in a giant, though shallow puddle. Seaxbrith stayed unconscious until he heard words from the other end of his brain, words from Riechfield. Was he alright? Was he safe?
"Seaxbrith! Seaxbrith! Wake up! Please wake up!" He heard Riechfield say, it hadn't been easy, though after Riechfield commanded him, Seaxbrith began to pick up his eyelids, blinking a few times before noticing Riechfield out of the blurriness.
"S-Sir... W-What, what... What happened?" He said, not noticing the shard of wood sticking out from his shoulder.

 

Seaxbrith looked at his arm in shock and the looked at Riechfield who got up, "W-Well how the hell do we get there??" Seaxbrith asked, then trying to pull out the wood. He yanked is out and as blood gushed from a red pit in his shoulder, he took a piece of cloth from his shirt and stopped the blood using pressure from his fist.

 

"You may be right, though until then I'll have to last." Seaxbrith said, "Look, we need more men, so I think since we've already made it so far, one of us should return to Berolan and retrieve some more men."
Seaxbrith panted, trying to take in as much oxygen as possible before the ship capsized.
