Dot Hack//G.U.

Zaria walked up closer to the AIDA infected monster and attacked it over and over again. His attacks did nothing and the monster flicked him aside like a fly. Zaria stood up and his health was in the danger zone. "I....have to destroy you!" A bell chime went off and Zarias PC started to glow green. "This power, it feels like it's going to burst!" He saw the face of the creature and it told Zaria it's name. "I call upon the power of the Propagation, become my sword and shield, MAGUS!!!" Zaria was transported to an inter-dimensional space and the true form of the infection in the monster was known to him. "Anna?" He looked at the monster and then at himself looking at the form he had now. "Perfect, just perfect. Now for attacking those I wish to protect, you shall feel my wrath!" Magus activated his shield and used unforgiving bud to surround Anna and blow it up. "Die!" He used his Flash of Green and he thought he destroyed the AIDA. (Sorry about that, edited)

 

Crimson smiled at the stranger. "Seems, everything is going according to plan." She warped out.

Kimsumi was training when she felt the wave of power. "What is this?" It was the awaking of Magus, but she had no clue. "It seems powerful."

Kimsumi need to train harder because the tournment is less than a day and her and Crimson where partners. She didn't care whether Crimson is training or not, because Crimson can take care of herself.

With Crimson warping out, Loki turned back to the shadows to begin his little project. He could careless if the fool woman respected him. She was just another pawn like so many others, and she would serve her purpose to its fullist yet. Slowly the shadows engulped his character, and he walked into the Outter Dungen. It was time he did a few more 'experiments'.

-------------Koga--------------
The screens before Koga wavered and quickly he activated the search mechnism. It didn't take him long to find what he was looking for. There were four people in a dungen on the beginners level. All low levels and they were being attacked by AIDA, only one of them -a steam gunner- was using an epitaph to fend it off. This made Koga's lips curl into a smile. It was unfortunate that Zeph wouldn't be the first to be awoken that he knew of, but finding an epitaph user was just as great. He made a note of the area words and turned to head out at a running pace. He had to hurry before the steamgunner lost control or someone ended up in a coma.

 

Zaria received a flood of info from Magus and turned and charged his Data Drain. "Back away from him!" He shot the Data Drain at the AIDA monster and received Data Core C.
His body drifted back to the ground and shot the now normal monster. "What, was that?!" He yelled out loud in an excited voice. He walked up to Tom and smiled "Are you okay?"

 

Zaria just shrugged at the questions. "I have no idea what any of that, but the monster was modded or infected just like what led up to the R:1 events."

 

----------------KOGA-------------------------
Koga stepped around the corner with Zeph and Semio on his heels. His face was an unreadable mask, and his eyes surveyed over the group. "That," he said after a moment of silence, "was Abnormal Data Information Anomoly. AIDA." He stopped just a ways from the group.

This one's picky... What a hassle "If you want the proper wording, it would be Artificially Intelligent Data Anomaly." Koga spoke curtly. He must not be getting enough sleep. There shouldn't be any reason for him to be irritated for correcting himself. Rest would have to wait until after this was all taken care of.
Zeph stepped infront of Koga and put his fists on his hips, standing in defience, trying to challenge the other players, "I don't think I like your tone buddy. Show some respect will ya'. You're in the presence of Koga the 'Fist of Wolves'."

 

Star walked around the root town with Will. She soon spotted an admin.

"There's an admin, you sure we should just wlak up to him telling him of that thing?" Star asked Will. She looked at him and glance back at the admin. She shrugged.

"He looks buisy, come on." Star said turning around.

 

Zaria looked over at Koga and didn't like how up-tight he seemed. "From what I've seen, those AIDA as you call them seem to exhibit some similarities to the bugged R:1 monsters. But these things are free thinking but if there's more of these things then most likely they're part of a central whole."

"Zeph, that is enough." Koga said harshly at Eric. A low grumbling sound came from Alastor's throat, but too soft to be heard over the microphones. Thankfully. His eyes scanned over the small group of players all trying to talk at once. Didn't anyone have sense for order? Supressing a sigh Semio simply stood behind Koga and listened intently. AIDA? R:1? Maybe he should have asked Eric about these things before playing. Well it was too late now, he'd have to ask in a while though.
Zeph turned and stepped back behind Koga, but infront of Semio. Zeph didn't look happy, and Alastor doubted Eric was either. He decided on taking Eric out to get something to eat later. His stomach was growling. Again. Sometimes I think I birthed a bottomless pit! His mothers voice chimmed, and it sent a chuckle from his throat over the mic.
"What are you laughing at?" Eric's voice was heated. Challenging.
"Easy E-," he was about to say Eric but quickly recovered,"Easy. I was just thinking that we should get something to eat soon is all. Thought I'd run over and grab ya'."
"Oh. I guess, but not right now." Eric's voice wasn't filled with anger, but it was lined with sulk. Alastor thought he should get him some ice cream as well.
"They are similar," Koga's voice was still commanding. Alastor thought the man must be ex-police. Or maybe ex-military, "these free roaming pieces will not stop from spreading until CC Corp finds the one breading them."

 

Zaria walked up to Koga and looked straight into his face "And I have a feeling that you are no normal player. In fact I think you mean to exterminate the AIDA or study them, possibly both." He started pacing back and forth smiling. "In fact if that is your goal I think I will join you in this, only if you can teach me to utilize and control this power."

 

Will shrugged. "Thing is we gotta pick the right Admin, some might think we started the attacks." He said, hand on his sword hilt. He hated this town. So many of the noobs tried to pickpocket and hack.

 

Jake had just gotten his home work done. After eating dinner he walks into his office. He sits in his chair, puts on his game gear, and enters The World. Meeting with his partner, Tag, He begins on his mountain of work. Events that needed his attention, and a few emails about what players wanted to see in the newest events. "Sir, here are the survey results you had posted recently on the main forums for The World." Tag calls up a data screen in the black room they did work in. "Thanks Tag." Seeing that people wanted to have an event that included extra exp in the rewards list, he makes plans for the next event. "Tag." "Yes sir." "Would you like to go and actually play today?" "But what about this work?" "So long as we are gathering information on the likes and dislikes of the users, i think we should be ok." Tag sighs. "Very well sir, i'll follow your lead." With that they set their status to ingame, and enter the world.

" 'This power' you are talking about. It's called Epitaph." Koga stated.

 

Kalenz and Tag were walking around Mac Anu when they came across Koga. They had just heard him and were walking up to him. "What do you know about Epitaph's?" Kalenz asked, weary of this player. Tag calmed him down saying, "Were admins. They can't do anything to us without getting evicted from The World." This was whispered in Kalenz's ear, but it looked like the others could hear him.
