Dot Hack//G.U.

Star looked at Zaria and raised an eyebrow. She looked at Will.

"Yes, I think we'll take your advise, sorry but I don't trust you, no offence." Star said to Zaria.

"Shall we get going?" Star asked her group.

 

Will nodded. "Yeah, good idea." He said, nodding curtly to Zaria, keeping his eyes locked on Zaria's. He knew the man was dangerous but was he going to just kill them outright or toy with them?

 

Will's jaw dropped when the dots started. "What the heck is this Tom? You never explained this to me!" He roared, swinging at the beast. His sword sunk into the beast, black dots covering it.

 

Star looked at it and jumped back some and pulled out her fans. She threw them at the monster and got them back doing pretty much nothing. She then got a crazy though in her head.

'Did Zaria send these?' Star thought to herself. She went and dodged an attack from the monster and thre her one fan at it and used her other fan to block attacks.

 

Zaria actually stepped back as the he sighted how strong the monsters were and aimed his gun and fired multiple bullets. "Die you moded pieces of #$%!" He yelled as he charged at them standing in front of Will as one attacked him. "Flee now! These things are to strong, even for me, and I'm in the 40's!"

 

Caim turned his laptop on and began running the video game The World. He just started getting into the world, and only because his parents wanted him too. It wasn't his fault he didn't share a lot of interests with other people, then again they were all mules who needed to be hit.
Placing the visor over his eyes and taking the controller in hand, he created his character in a matter of moments. Caim had read the guide about The World and also did a search on forums and the such. It had proved really useful for when he started creating his adept rogue. 'Aku'. That seemed like a fitting name for his character, as well as himself. He'd start as a blade brandier and work his way up through the quests. Finishing his character he was loaded onto a delta server called Mac Anu.
He had an idea of what he wanted to do. PKKing sounded like it was a ball, but he would have to level up before he could start doing anything of the sort.

 

"Well that's why we should all battle it." Star yelled to him throwing her fan and recatching it.

"Isn't there some item though taht can help with this you guys have?" Star asked her friends throwing yet another fan at the monster.

 

---------------Alastor---------------
Alastor nearly choked when 'Koga' said he'd join them. Eric had said that this guy was a mod, and his guild leader. What would possess him to join them! It would have to be a question for later, he decided, and swallowed whatever soda was left in the can, and without removing the M2D goggles, he tossed it over his shoulder and into a waste bin.
"W-Wait, why?" Semio asked. It was too late to make his voice sound anything but surprised, and Eric's character Zeph was gawking like a child. By his friends reaction 'Koga' didn't do this often, if at all. Maybe he should feel gratitude towards they guy, or even special, but all he could was that feeling as if someone was watching you without you knowing it. Like someone had a gun to his head and he didn't know if it was loaded or not.
Grabbing a pen from a cup next to his computer, Alastor lifted the M2D and jotted down the line on a piece of paper. He'd have to write about that. Maybe. When he put the goggles back on however, Koga was walking away and Zeph was as still as stone. He hadn't heard a reply, maybe it was in a PM? Checking quickly proved that he was wrong.
"You didn't answer my question?" He called after the guild leader as he turned a corner. Not getting a reply soiled his mood a bit, weather or not this guy was some high-end mod, it gave him no excuse to be rude. "Arrogant sonnva-" He cut off abruptly when Zeph turned his head to him, "What?" He asked cautiously.
"Come on, he's gunna be busy for a while, so why don't we go get you some items from the shops?" Zeph asked in a mild tone with a comforting smile on his face.
"Sounds fine to me I guess." Semio replied and the two of them started out for the Mac Anu shops.

 

Will slung the shield onto his back and grasped the sword with two hands, performing his rage ability. The sword separated into two swords and covered in fire. He swung at the monsters, doing little to it but more than before. The only bad part about the rage ability was it dropped his health to the danger zone.

 

Will's health was in the danger zone and he tried the medallion but it wouldn't work. "What the heck?" He said, stopping his rage ability so he didn't die because of it.

 

Star ran over and stuck her arm out at Will as his body began to glow with green pulsing light going down his body in waves healing him. Once it was done she put her hand down and smiled.

"Better, ok now to buisness, what's the plan now?" Star asked.

 

Will turned. "Now that I'm healed I say we go deeper into the dungeon and find the source, leveling as we go." He said, twirling his sword. "Up for a raid, Star?" He asked, grinning.

 

"Oh no fun, but that's probaly all I could do." Star said smiling. She started to wlak away with Will.

"ok an admin, where are we supose to find one?" Star asked looking around for an admin.

 

Will strode up to the gate. "In Root Town there's usually a bunch, c'mon." He said, stepping through the gate. He sent a message to Tom. "I'll get an Admin, then I'm coming and helping. Got it?" It read.

 

--------------Koga------------------
Koga stepped out after Zeph and his new companion. It was rather a hassel for him to have to switch over to his other guild. As soon as he had stepped out of the Rebirth guild, he quickly entered the Epitaphs. It was by far CC Corps greatest design, and he compared all to Hullez Granz Cathedril. The most beautiful piece of computer programing, in his opinion.
The Epitaphs' @home wasn't amazing in the fact of its style, but it did look flashy. The entire room was flat save for the dais at the very end, but that was for observations and he'd have to do a quick sweep before he left. Nothing to tedious, but enough to claim he had done enough work for the day. He didn't plan on slacking, but the best way to find AIDA as well as Epitaph users was to go in the fields. Risky for himself yes, but oh so worth it. Innocent bystandards made people fight harder sometimes, and that was good leverage at times.
Walking to the dais he stepped up to the platform and began running the Serpent of Lore. Monitors popped up infornt of him and his eyes quickly began to survey the screens. He needed to spot any floating black dots or epitaphs. True he wouldn't be able to see an epitaph if he were standing next to an avatar, but he'd be able to see their player, and then recruite them. So far he had found none, but that was expected. He didn't think any of them had awakened, but with this next mission he was sure that Zeph would show to be an epitaph user. It was an instinct, but he was sure Zeph would not fail him.

 

Zaria nodded and looked at Tom "We should stop that thing before it can run amok here. Hopefully an Admin will close this area off and eliminate that bug....." Zaria stopped moving and started to shake at the mention of the word bug. "My god, it can't be!" He ran at the monster to get a better look at it and registered how strong it was. "It's a different design that's on the monster but it's almost the same as the R:1 events."
