    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

The Ice Queen shrilled at the leader in anger, having Seraphin to hold her back. "It is ok. She is here. That's all that's matter." "All that matters? What matters is some soldiers attempted to take me down with their useless weapons. The nerve of them. I froze the whole city for them being so worthless." Snaedis made her own seat, a throne made out of solid ice blocks. She sat in it while Seraphin sat in a seat near the leader.

"Well, everyone is here and that's what counts? You all know that we cannot delay." Queen Snaedis hair was wild as she listened, her heart colder than ever.

Tsubasa puzzled over what he'd do for minutes before he decided that he should start at step one; buying a map. He traversed this unfamiliar London, looking for some sort of shop, and eventually found a small corner store named "Gleeson's Mini Market".

"Do you happen to sell maps of London? I'm, err... I'm foreign" he asked the shop owner after entering.

"Sorry, I don't. You want directions? There's a pub about a kilometre east from here. On the other side of a park. You could ask around there." the man, presumably Gleeson, responsded. Tsubasa thanked the man and left for the pub.

How could he have not thought of that? A pub would be perfect for asking about the new London! He walked east for a few minutes before he reached a graveyard and a park. Wouldn't the graveyard put people off going to the park? And why would you build a pub next to a graveyard in the first place?

"Well anyway, the pub must be pretty close..." he thought aloud whilst walking with his head down. He looked up for a second, only to be knocked down by something that must've been moving pretty fast.

"Ugh..." he grunted and looked up. That something was more of a someone.
"My bad. I wasn't looking." he said to the girl who'd just collided with him as he brushed himself off.

After getting up, he offered the girl a hand.

  3. "Indeed," Exilus said to Kurao. "The power of a Hyper Ball should clean them up quickly." Exilus then laughed at Kurao's explanation of the terms Admiral and Lord. "The way I see it," Exilus noted. "Is that an an Admiral is the ruler of several puny ships, usually on just one world. I have devoured countless worlds in my search for Deep Granam, and when I find it, I will rule the universes themselves. Lord seems to be a much more fitting title for a ruler of my stature. However, you may call me what you wish; if the term Admrial is greater in your mind, by all means use it."

Snaedis shrieked and nearly jumped at Exilus, though Seraphin held her back. In the split-second that she showed anger toward him, Exilus immediately summoned two Invisible Heartless who crossed their swords in front of him, warning Snaedis not to get any closer. Exilus looked at the ice mage with utter contempt, first she arrived late, then she had the audacity to nearly attack him. He was not amused.

"All that matters? What matters is some soldiers attempted to take me down with their useless weapons. The nerve of them. I froze the whole city for them being so worthless. Well, everyone is here and that's what counts? You all know that we cannot delay."

"So..." Exilus began. "Not only were their weapons ineffective, you managed to defeat them quite easily. Yet you still approach me as if to attack? Such arrogance. I should crush your heart in my hand right here and now." He paused for a moment. Then, Exilus closed his eyes and sighed. "You test my patience, Ice Witch. I am your leader and you will treat me as such. Next time you move as if to attack me, I will end your life and laugh while doing so." Exilus made a motion with his hands and the Invisibles lowered their swords, though they still floated next to his throne, just in case.

"Now, we can get on with the meeting," Exilus said, showing signs that he was calming down a bit. "One of my top agents, a woman by the name of Asiila, has informed me of some resistance from the other universes. She has reason to believe that they may try to mount a counter-attack against us. Whether they have found out our goal, or just view our destruction of worlds as a threat, we cannot be certain. Snaedis, this is surely the explanation behind your attackers as well. These other universes are trying to fight back." Exilus paused for a moment, then smirked. "We must crush them like the bugs they are."

"So, the plan is this: we will form two person teams and make a preemptive strike against these other universes. We will each attack a pivotal world, the place that will cause the most damage if it is destroyed... and absorbed. I want you all to find the epicenters of these worlds and drain their energy. Leave them barren and dead." Exlius laughed heartily and stood from his throne. "Seraphin, you will come with me to one version of the world called Earth, while you will visit another, Kurao and Snaedis." Exilus summoned two dark corridors in the middle of the room. "Since I have not visited the worlds personally, I cannot say where it's epicenter will be. Also, the dark corridors are fairly random, but they shouldn't put you too far from the target."

Exilus descended from his throne and strode through his dark corridor, waiting on the other side for Seraphin to follow.

The pelicans landed near Zac's location as he helped the unconscious bodies onto the ships for medical attention, they barely got any chance to use their weapons. Zac went to a crate and then pulled out a metallic handle and grasped it. He flicked it as two energized blade formed, showing the the Energy Sword had turned on.

This was his sister's, one she used to save his life... She wasn't alive anymore. He kept it as a reminder of her sacrifice. He gripped it tightly and muttered,

    "Alright then, blow me away,"

A portal opened it, another from command. Zac had requested them to send another portal in so they can head for their original location. The pelicans went through the portal and headed back to the main ship. When they returned, Zac met with the commander and told him about the enemy. After nearly an hour of discussion, the commander had ordered a new portal for Zac and his specialized crew to head to the original earth, specifically, London.

Zac met with his team back at the loading dock and flew the pelican into the portal and flew off. The battle was beginning.

Marie rubbed her head, as it was throbbing rather painfully after her first encounter of an inattentive kind.

"Oww. . ." she mumbled while she sat on her rear.

    "My bad, I wasn't looking."

The outsider looked up to see a reasonably attractive male reaching his hand out to help her out. She sheepishly accepted, forcing a smile.

"Actually, it's more my fault. I was kind of. . . skipping. It's my first time to London, you see, and I was really excited because I was going to my first authentic British pub," She explained, which was more or less the truth of the matter. She noticed her gps device was on the ground between them, so she stooped to pick it up and dust it off, making sure that it was still operative. Her strange backpack with the four concave mirrored ports on the back shined reflected the sunlight brightly when she bent over, almost getting in the man's eyes.

"Er, wait. My pirates. . . ah, fuhgeddit. I'll just use the teleportalizer when I get to wherever it is that the Admiral wants me. . ." Kurao meagerly attempted to inform the ruler before he left. He shrugged it off and strode through the second portal with little-to-no-fuss, warping into what was a technological mecca.

"Wow, and I though those Archades had it nice," He remarked with a low whistle, observing one of the little touristy-map stands from where he stood. The portal had let out in an alley next to a multitude of various electronics stores. "Shibuya, huh?" He mumbled, looking at some some of the shiny objects in the windows while simultaneously ignoring the glances of both the admiring (He was technically shirtless, after all), and the slightly confused (It wasn't a big cosplay day).

"Attack? How dare him. I should remind him..." "Let it go." "It doesn't matter anymore. As long as I achieve what I want, then I will be satisfied." Snaedis walked into the portal and left, going to the same world that Kurao went to. Seraphin sighed in anger and went on after the Leader. Soon, he appeared behind Elius as the portal behind him closed. "So, what are we to do on this world?"

The three pelicans flew over the country of Germany, still enroute to London. From what Zac learned from the battle was that the ice queen cold turn a whole inn into an ice box. He wasn't even trying there, but when his full abilities were into play, she wish she would have never messed with the spartan.

  8. "So, what are we to do on this world?"

"I explained that during the meeting," Exilus sighed wearily. "We are finding the epicenter of this world and absorbing it. A preemptive strike against the enemy. My advisers informed me that this world is of great importance to one of the forces that wishes to rise against us."

Exilus and Seraphin stepped out of the other side of the portal. They appeared in some rural desert complex, in between two fairly large metal and concrete structures. The area was shaded and out of the way, so their entrance didn't draw any unwanted attention.

Exilus felt the area with his sixth sense; closing his eyes for a moment, he saw all of the aura readings that were around him. He saw his own seething black aura, Serpahin's fiery red-orange aura, as well as the energies of at least a dozen average humans nearby. They were average in the sense that they had never performed magic, and so their aura was mundane. The aura signatures were only just different enough to tell them apart.

Then he sensed it: the heart of the world. It was some distance away, presumably out of the complex that they were currently in. Noticing some armored troops patrolling the area, Exilus looked back at Seraphin.

"Alright, follow my lead. No doubt we're going to get stopped fairly quickly. When that happens, we will immediately attack. I need you to create a diversion while I absorb this world's heart. I will assist you for a moment, but then I will leave on my Keyblade Glider to find the epicenter. My sense tells me it's still a fair distance away. I will leave several Heartless behind to assist you." Exilus peeked out of the alley and saw that the patrol was a fairly close. "Now."

Exilus strode out of the darkened area, toward the patrol group. I'd didn't take long for him to be noticed. The three armored troops in the unit immediately trained their guns on him as they got a visual.

"Halt," one of the troops ordered. "You're trespassing on UNSC property. Unless you can show me the proper authorization, I'm going to have to--" The troop was interrupted by a Keyblade entering into his chest. Exilus gripped the black and red handle of Brimstone Shadow and smiled evilly as he turned it 90° to the right. A click resonated and the troop's body slowly devolved into a shadow heartless. Exilus snatched the floating heart and had a Wretched Banquet. The other troops were stunned long enough to let this happen, but then came back to their senses.

"Fire!!" one of the remaining two troops ordered. Before they could shoot, Exilus dashed forward with boosted speed, palming both of their helmet visors. Two pulses of darkness erupted out of his hands from point blank, breaking through the helmet and piercing the skulls inside. The two troops hung limply in his hands. He threw them to the ground.

With his hands still enveloped in darkness, Exilus summoned a large group of soldier Heartless. Since his enemies weren't using Keyblades, the soldiers would be relatively tough to take down, and he figured a large group would be better than the smaller amount of Defenders of Invisibles he might have been able to summon. Exilus then scanned the area and noticed that there were several towers with troops bearing large rifles, most likely used for long-range. Exilus manipulated their own shadows from afar. The pools of darkness rose up and stabbed into the troops' ribcages, ending all of their lives at once.

Exilus threw Brimstone Shadow into the air. It came back down as a flashy black and red Keyblade Glider. He turned back to Seraphin.

"Try to keep the rest of them distracted as long as possible," Exilus instructed Seraphin. "If you are in danger, flee to the epicenter. I will feel your aura and meet you on the way." With that, Exilus rose into the air on his Glider and sped out of the complex and toward the epicenter. The ride was monotonous, with nothing but vast hills, desert, and sparse trees. Finally, he saw in the distance what he knew to be the epicenter. It seemed to be an oddly-shaped machine resting inside of a crater. The clouds above it were abnormal and spinning slightly.

    View attachment 909

Exilus brought his Glider down inside the crater next to the machine. He hopped off of the vehicle and a bright light enveloped it as it disappeared. Exilus put out his gloved hand and touched the metal. It glowed for a moment, and Exilus knew that it was time. He took a step back and planted his feet firmly on the ground putting his hands in front of him. Small particles of light began to gather and slowly float toward his hands. Within seconds, a concentrated beam of light was pouring into Exilus's palms, a few more seconds and it grew large enough to envelop his hands.
As he drained more and more power away from the world, the sky began to grow dark.

Exilus began laughing, slowly at first, but then growing into a hysterical cackle. He loved the feeling of draining an entire world's worth of energy. Within a minute, the beam of light began to die down, until there was nothing more than specks. Exilus looked at his hands; they were positively bursting with power as the slightest nudge of his aura caused black electricity to reverberate through his fingers. This world was now doomed to die as it's very life was drained out of it; soon, it wouldn't even be livable, as plants would rot and the atmosphere would degrade.

Exilus took a moment to sense Serpahin's aura. The fire mage was fairly far away, but the recent boost in power made it easy for Exilus to pinpoint him. Exilus summoned two dark corridors, one in front of him and one near Seraphin. If all went to plan, the fire mage would take the cue and meet Exilus back at the base. Still laughing slightly, the armored leader basked in the dying world for a moment. Darkness could be seen seething off of him. He then stepped through the portal and back to his throne room, leaving the world to rot.

"Actually, it's more my fault. I was kind of. . . skipping. It's my first time to London, you see, and I was really excited because I was going to my first authentic British pub," the girl explained, before picking something up from the ground. The corner of Tsubasa's lips twitched upwards. She was skipping? No wonder their collision hurt so much.

"I'm from somewhere else too. I was going to the pub to get some basic directions, actually," Tsubasa said. He knew he sounded like he was making excuses; after all, who would travel to a foreign country without at least a map?

An idea struck him. It was the girl's first time in London; of course she would have a map of some sort!
"That thing in your hand. . . Is that a gps device, by any chance? Could I use it?" he asked. He probably sounded rude, asking her for a gps before even asking her name, but he needed to know where he was and why he was there.

"SIR! We have an incoming transmission from command," a UNSC soldier on the pelican said. Zac ran towards the front and gestured to the pilot to pull up the transmission.

    ~Spartan!~

"Yes sir?!" Zac responded, with a salute,

~We have terrible news, our planet earth is heading to its pending doom. The president has ordered the remaining UNSC to get as many people off the planet and back onto Reach. We have lost many soldiers trying to protect our base... If we loose our soldiers, we have the Spartans on the ship, but more importantly, these people. I will be sending you the locations of these portals you must meet with, along with a new AI. We will try our best to inform more worlds about this, sending as many Spartans to inform them about our plan. Just find the following people and stop this evil~

Zac nodded and the transmission ended. Zac tapped on a blinking icon and it sent out a sheet with the coordinates and times of the portals appearances. He sighed. His planet was dying, and now he was having a lot of pressure on him. He downloaded the information via wifi onto his helmet's HUD and his wrist communicator. Then, another icon was flashing, Zac opened it and it showed information about the AI's data, and how to install it. He placed his helmet on the dashboard and plugged it in, sending the data of the AI into his helmet.

"Tower records, according to this device, is our target. You do some magical magic-ey thing to draw attention to this area while I go use this fancy device to sync up the core of this place with Exilus's power thing," Teri ordered, pulling out something that looked like a black gauntlet. If the two didn't look like some manner of cosplayers before, the new addition certainly helped. "Welp, I'm gonna go find that place now, see-ya!"

He dodged into an alley, yellow fur with brown spots sprouting all over. His form became shorter and more lithe, the muscles pulling taut with a springlike power. He immediately bounced up the walls, performing that ever so-classic wall bounce maneuver to navigate to the roof.

Miraculously, his coat still stayed on his shoulders the entire time.

"Er. . . only if you give it back. If you try running off with it, I'll have you know that I'm a professional athlete!" She jokingly threatened, striking a confident pose. At about that moment, a ringing went off in her back pocket, and Marie grew flustered. "Oh, that's my phone. Er, pager. Er. .. give me a sec."

The woman drew the funny device resembling a PDA but with dual antennae that flipped out from the top from her back pocket, examining the screen.

"Uh-oh. That can't be good," She mumbled, shelving the device once more. nervously, she stammered, "Er, sorry. My itinerary just got bumped up. Sorry I can't stay to chat but. . . gottagobye!"

Marie bolted, running past the man with her GPS held in front so she could navigate.

A visible contortion of space-time emerged in a corridor of the castle at Ashen Crater, twisting at each particle of matter until what would have been seen was a swirling whirlpool effect. From a focal point at the center of this whirling formation of space-time, there emerged a bright, blue-white light. The light, like the whirling, grew out, and forming into a circular portal, through which one would have been able to see the trans-dimensional pathway it provided.

It was from this blue-white light that a single, ruffled black mass of fabrics exited, practically being spat out by the portal itself. Seemingly incapable of stopping itself, the mass flew straight across the corridor. On the opposite side, it came to an abrupt halt by smashing into an empty glass trophy case, which shattered to pieces upon impact. The ringing of glass shards falling onto the stone floors rang with an astounding, almost impossible reverberation through the nearby castle halls. Though the shards were upon the floor in seconds after the case was smashed, the their fall lingered in the corridor for a length of time after words.

As though drawn to the sound like dogs, a small pack of Shadow Heartless rose from the ground, surrounding the mass of black in a semi-circle. From a distance, they moved closer, gesturing as though to tell each other that a fresh heart was before them, a feast for any Heartless such as them. It was a freshly beaten heart, which was only too obvious to the senses of any Heartless. Without caution or care, the Shadows closed in until there was practically no opening in their ranks. To their instinctive minds, they had their latest prey surrounded, and it would not escape. They moved for the killing strike.

But then, each Heartless began to experience a strange, painful feeling; a feeling that something or someone was pulling at them from their antennae on one end and their feet on the other. Panicked by this unexpected feeling, they looked around at one another, expecting one of their pack members to have the solution to the issue. None of them did though. Inevitably, the force that was pulling them, not seconds after it manifested, tore the creatures in half, ending their ravenous lives in a heartbeat. All that remained of the pack in the end of the process was the disintegrating, wispy cloud of Darkness that remained whenever any Heartless was killed off.

From within the mass, there came a wheezing, coughing noise of a deeper male voice. Slowly, on account of its recent rough landing, the mass rose from the floor and stood on its feet. Where there had just been a gathering of cloths and other material, there then stood a young man of average height and a fit build and shortcut black hair. In a stark contrast to these baseline features, the man’s skin bore a paled and sickly look, evidenced by its relative paleness. And despite his fitness, it seemed that somewhere along the line he had managed to take quite the beating, shown in the scares about his face, a limp in his stride when he began to walk, and a jimmy-rigged gauze pad tapped over his right eye.

Slowly, the young man walked over to a nearby window and looked out over the plains of molten rock and the rivers of lava. “Not home yet,” he said, leaning up against the wall for support. “But at least it’s a start.” This man, Adrian Savona, better known these days as “Glyde Savian,” had been about the worlds quite often in the past two years. Now at age 20, he had hoped that his last portal would have brought him back to his own universe, his own timeline. But it was clear, by the scene in the corridor and the one outside the window, that he hadn’t managed it; though he found some satisfaction that he was no longer about those damnable Venetian style waterways, with… those people driving the nails into him. Still, he had to wonder how he wouldn’t have made it to his destination; he HAD practiced his portal travel to the point that he could travel anywhere at any time he pleased. That left only one thing: something had gone wrong outside of his portal, a space-time disturbance, which had caused him to be redirected towards…. Where ever this new place was.

Deciding that there was no use in standing still in a place like this, Glyde began walking again. Summoning to his hand a roughly three foot Keyblade, “The Hunter,” he made his way through the corridor, using the weapon as a cane.

The pelicans landed near a field outside of the town. They landed and opened the hatch doors, sending out all the troops and the mongooses. Zac came out with his street clothes and had his gauntlet with a communication device installed in it. He got onto his red mongoose and gestured to the other soldiers to stay and guard the pelicans. He drove off towards the main city, with the energy sword clipped to his belt. He decided that by using his mongoose, it would draw less attention than bringing in a jeep with a massive turret mounted on it. He drove through the city, searching for where the portal was opened and closed.

  14. Asiila had returned to her quarters after giving Exilus the new found information. She was planning on leading another recon excursion the next day, and she was already weary from her survey of Ashen Crater's Sector 6A. During the survey Asilla had found several new species native to this world, including the hulking magma boar and the man-eating bonebat. In fact, she had gotten just a bit too close to a magma boar and had nearly had her chest kicked in; if it weren't for an expertly placed dodge roll, she may not have survived to pierce its underbelly with her Keyblade.

Back in her room, Asiila sat at her desk, staring out a window and into the night lit by rivers of lava. It never got pitch black there, which bothered Asilla, but not enough for her to do something about it. She had drifted into a line of thought regarding which classification to put the newly discovered carnivorous blazedaisy in when she heard an urgent-sounding knock on her door. She jolted slightly, promptly getting up from her seat and answering the knock. On the other side of the door was a male guard, one of the lower ranked peons who Asiila didn't bother to learn the name of. The guard held his fist over his heart, awaiting permission to speak.

"What is it?" Asiila said in annoyed tone, not letting the guard drop his salute by giving the 'at ease' command.

"Er, well, you see, there seems to be a problem," the guard stuttered, obviously intimidated. "There's an intruder in the castle--" as soon as he said this, he was interrupted by Asiila viciously grabbing his throat.

"What?!" Asiila yelled through gritted teeth. Her eyes were widened and her usually level demeanor erupted into a full rage. "An Intruder?! How the hell did he get past the exterior defenses?!" The guard coughed and sputtered as he tried to talk.

"They... weren't breached..." the guard managed to get out. "Some... kind of... teleportation..." Asiila summoned her Keyblade in her other hand and drove it into the guard's chest. With the handle she followed his body as it hit the ground. Standing over him, Asilla twisted the Keyblade and unlocked his heart from his body, causing it to float upward. The corpse on the ground deformed into a writhing mass of darkness.

"You'll serve better as a Heartless," Asilla muttered as she closed her door and stepped over the newly-formed Shadow. She quickly approached another guard and learned the area that the intruder was in. She then rounded up some of the apprentices in the castle and made her way to the lower north-east wing where the intruder was last seen.

The sound of boots tromping on stone and metal reverberated throughout the hall. As Asiila and the apprentices rounded a corner, they saw a pale and beaten man with rough, black clothing. Asiila's eyes widened when she looked closely at the man's cane and realized it was a Keyblade. She then summoned her own Keyblade, prompting all of the apprentices to summon theirs as well. Asiila looked the intruder in the eye and pointed her Keyblade at him.

"You're trespassing, Key Bearer," Asilla said in a highly-accusatory tone. "I see you're injured, so I'll be frank. State your business or else I will detain you."

"Uh-oh. That can't be good," the girl stammered, pocketing the odd device, "Er, sorry. My itinerary just got bumped up. Sorry I can't stay to chat but. . . gottagobye!" She tore past Tsubasa, holding the GPS out in front of her.

"What was that about?" Tsubasa muttered to himself as he watched her run away. "Back to square one, I guess." he said, resisting the urge to slump in defeat. He supposed he'd have to ask blindly at the pub to find out where he was. Either that, or just sit around and wait for a portal to appear- that is, if a portal ever appeared again.

He sighed, admitting to himself what he had been denying for the last few hours; he was lost. He was completely lost in the town he'd grown up in for years. And he couldn't even use a GPS.

An idea struck him; that girl must've known something about whatever had happened. That would explain her sudden exit.

"I can't just give up! I'll chase after her, wherever she's going, and I'll ask her!" he said, starting to run after her. It was crazy, but she was his only hope- that is, unless he wanted to start his life from scratch again.

After a minute or so of frantic running, Tsubasa could see a faint moving outline in the distance; that must've been her. "Hey!" he called. "Would you stop running?" he yelled. People glared, but moved to the side anyway, forming a path for him to run through.

OOC: This post may seem quite out of character, but it's been an eventful day for him, to say the least.

"Hm..." Seraphin looked at the soldiers, his eyes flaming brighter behind his mask as he lifts up his left fist. "I think I will have a barbecue first." The Fire Mage prepared himself as the next round of soldiers came in to go against him in battle. "FIRE!" "Ok." The soldiers starts shooting while the Fire Mage brought up a large shield to block the projectiles in front of him. The Mage then conjured up a fire storm in the sky and start to shoot his own fire projectiles. Some of the soldiers were injured and the rest were forced to retreat. "Please don't go. Let me create a highway to hell."

The Fire Mage shot a large, flamethrower past the soldiers, creating a firewall to keep those who were unable to escape caught up in the flames.

Zac was driving through the street of London, searching for where location of the portals. He was approaching the first of the two, this one, was in an sky way of sorts. He parked the mongoose into the alleyway and hopped off, pulling out his flash light and Energy Sword, switching it on incase something would happen. He looked around and saw nothing, the portal seemed to have closed a while ago. He decided to find who came out of the portal, and locked in the coordinates of the closed portal into his log and went off to search for the other portal.

He got back on his mongoose and drove off to find the other portal.. Hopefully, no one would notice the UNSC vehicle. Then again, who was gonna miss an off road 4 wheeler on the road?

    Clink! Thud! Clink! Thud!

Through the corridors of this strange and truly wondrous new world, Adrian made as quick of haste as be could. Each striking of his "cane" against the stone floors echoed about in a cold, piercing sound, letting him know that it was perfectly poised upon the ground. With each step forward from his supported stance, his good leg rapidly and forcefully pounded against the ground to spare the injured one of unnecessary pain; an act which resulted in a thumping noise uncharacteristic of the boots and more so the person wearing them. As he passed on each stride, he drew a deep, half-wheezing breath, which he let out in a huff with each landing of his foot or cane. All the way he walked with a slouch in his back, his free hand attempting to massage his soreness from the dramatic entrance he had made moments before.

Needless to say, Adrian Savona has seen better days and better health than he was now. And needless to say his mind was fixed on one thing: finding somewhere in the cavernous castle to take a breather and nurse his wounds.

However, there seemed no such place to speak or hear of anywhere; at least not on the floor he was on. Everywhere he search lead him to bare stone walls and locked doors that he deemed too risky to open in his current state. If my leg was good, he said to himself. If my leg was good, I'd blast that down and waste whoever was in there. And it was only a short time after leaving his "landing" site that he grew aware of a danger even worse than not finding a couch or bed, or an infirmary even: other people. He didn't quite see anyone in his wandering, but the sound of foreign footsteps were clearly sounding about the nearby halls, and voices permeated from even further out. In some fleeting instances he had sworn he had seen a silhouette at the end of a hall or in the corner of his eye, or heard a door open and close behind him as though someone had looked outside and rushed back in to tell someone else there was an unwelcome guest amongst them.

Even pooled together these factors were no cause of alarm to the Keybearer. He had stalked through places with echoing presences many times before, and managed to elude capture, or otherwise find that there was really no one else around.

But there was one unnerving factor that he grew increasingly aware of: that the noises he was hearing were growing more active. Calmly whispered comments grew into aggressively spoken orders, and into intolerant shouts and demeaning cries in the distance. The gentle echo of sentry feet swelled to a cacophonous thundering of several sets of feet. His auxiliary senses told him that there was a wealth of high energy floating around to begin with, and that its owners were all spiking with adrenaline; no doubt someone was aware that he was around, and that his presence was not only unwelcome, but had also induced a frenzy amidst the castles residents.

And all of this noise and energy was growing nearer, and nearer, and nearer. Adrian tried to quicken his pace, only to be greeted by a greater pain in his injured leg. There was no hope of escape. The next corner Adrian rounded saw him facing down some dozen soldier figures, each with a serious and somewhat shameful look, as though the unwanted presence in their castle had pit then to insult. In this light, Adrian basked for but second with a slight smirk before one of them stepped forward. A young woman, undoubtedly the leader of the soldiers, put herself in striking distance from him, and bore, to Adrian's slight surprise, a Keyblade, and was able to label him as a Keybearer. He looked around at the group, seeing that they all wielded Keyblades. He smiled just a bit at this fact.

"Detain?" he spat obstinately back at the woman's remarks. "So I try to get home, right. But apparently space-time got the shit bent of it since the last time I warped, which pretty screwed up considering it's only been like twenty-four hours or something. So instead of getting home like I thought I was, I got tossed out of the warp in this ugly-ass place, and now you've got the nerve to detain a guy who's barely standing on his own two... Or three feet? Technically." He paused for a second, allowing his words to sink hard into the minds of his captors. "Anyways," he continued, "you don't want to know my business. You wouldn't like it if I told you, and wouldn't really work of for either of us in the long run. Now, you can go ahead and 'detain' me if you really want to. It's not my problem if you'll feel satisfied for having imprisoned someone who already a the hell beat out of him before you even set eyes on him."

"You heard him. Put him in cuffs," Asiila barked to the group of apprentices. She then turned back to the hunched man with a look of disgust. "You think I care if you're barely standing? I'd rather you were too hurt to move, laying flat on your face. Then the decision of what to do with you would be monumentally easier." Two apprentices broke out of the group and moved toward the man bearing handcuffs. The man mumbled some sort of obscenity and refused to cooperate for a moment, but eventually he conceded.

Asiila and the group escorted the man to the holding cells on floor B2. It was a fairly long walk, and the pained shamble of their captive made it seem like he was constantly trying to free his shackles. At one point the man said something along the lines of "how long are you going to herd me, anyway?" to which no one answered. Asiila felt like a policy of silence was best until they figured out more about the man. Finally, they reached the holding cells.

"Apprentice, perform a search on this man and confiscate all of his items. He may keep his clothes, as long as they are thoroughly inspected for hidden weapons," Asiila commanded. She then stood in front of the man, pointing her Keyblade at his neck. The look in her eyes said "no funny business." The apprentice approached the man and began to pat him down, rather roughly for the state of the intruder.

The search went rather uneventfully, barring the unruliness of the intruder. It seemed like if he wasn't so injured he probably wouldn't have been detained willingly. The apprentice stuck her hand into the pocket of the man's trench coat and took out a stack of papers. The apprentice looked at them oddly and handed them to Asiila. She finished with the search, so the apprentice saluted Asiila and rejoined the rest of the group. They then escorted the man into one of the holding cells and shackled him loosely to the wall. Asiila turned to face the apprentices.

"I'll report to Exilus what happened here and have him station some Heartless to guard the prisoner. In addition, you will each take shifts watching him, two at a time. If he does anything suspicious, immediately call for back up. Rogue Key Bearers are not to be trusted..." With that, Asiila walked out of the holding cells and back upward toward Exilus's throne room. The walk was long as she had to ascend several stories. Finally, she was back in the place that was so familiar, outside the large double door flanked by two statues of Invisible Heartless. Yet again, after a moment of her standing there, the doors opened themselves for her.

Asiila strode into the room with a sense of urgency about her. As she got closer to Exilus, she felt the pressure of an incredible power. Asiila came before him and knelt with hand over heart.

"Asiila, I didn't expect to see you again so soon," Exilus commented calmly. "At ease." Asiila stood up, though she didn't look Exilus in the eye; rather, her gaze was directed toward the floor.

"There was an intruder, my Lord," Asiila informed him. "Normally, I would take care of this and not bring up such a trivial matter. However, this intruder is a Key Bearer. Not only that, but he is suspected to have entered the castle by means of teleportation. He is unruly, but also injured, so it didn't cause us much trouble to detain him."
Exilus paused for a moment before responding.

"A Key Bearer, eh? And he transported into my castle while injured? Sounds like something didn't go right on his end," Exilus commented.

"Yes, he did mention something about an anomaly of his teleportation method," Asiila recalled. "Though his manner of speaking was so coarse, I didn't care to understand most of it." Exilus laughed at the comment. "There is one more thing," Asiila added as she reached into her cloak and pulled out a stack of papers. "These were found on his person. They appear to be personal documents. Useful for gaining leverage in case you don't want to have him slaughtered." Exilus took the papers and hummed thoughtfully.

"As fun as it sounds, I suppose it's not economical to slaughter him," Exilus admitted in a slightly melancholy tone. "We can always use Key Bearers. Even if his heart his full of light, maybe we can still twist him and make him work for us, now that we have these," Exilus waved the personal documents in his hand. "Good work, Asiila, you really outdid yourself this time. You've earned yourself some paid vacation."

"Actually, my Lord, maybe I could ask a favor of you instead?" Asiila inquired timidly.

"Oh? And what would that be?"

"Well, I was wondering if you might give me some personal training. Your strength is inspiring my Lord, and as much as I enjoy performing reconnaissance for you, I'd prefer to see more battle." Exilus laughed loudly at the request.

"You want to fight more, do you? I think my chaotic nature is seeping into you," Exilus teased her. "Of course I'll train you. I most likely will not have much time, as I feel things will only get more hectic with the other universes. However, I will make sure I put aside time for our training. Now, you're dismissed. I must go over some more paperwork."

Asiila saluted and turned to leave. Though Exilus couldn't see it, she was smiling wider than she ever had before.

Marie's path took her through the city into one of the less populated areas, where a certain armored warrior passed by speedily.

"A cosplayer on an ATV? Why do I feel like both of those things shouldn't be together she wondered aloud, running out of breath. She took a moment to pause and recompose herself, but immediately continued walking afterwards. Then a familiar voice called out,

    "Hey! would you stop running?"

The gymnast turned around mid-stride, but continued walking, ending up in the middle of the street. And that's when she heard the ATV again.

The cosplayer must have turned around, she reasoned, but she only had a moment to react before it hit her. Instead of dodging the small vehicle like any reasonable person would, Marie did the only thing her training would allow. one hand grazed the hood of the Mongoose and a light burst of energy emitted from her feet, the remnant of her energy left over from her travels. Like any professional, she vaulted over the ATV like a wooden-horse, making a landing on the other side safely that was easily worth a 7.0.

And then she realized that she flagrantly used her powers in public.

Some wolf-boy showed up to stop Teri in his reclaimation of this plane's soul. A ride through a storefront window changed his mind. Mounting the gauntlet on his left arm, the now lion-form Teri purred with delight in the lobby of Tower Records.

"Now then, step one, turn on the aetheric flux gener. . . screw it, just activate it!" He joked, tossing an instruction booklet that he had picked up for the sake of making this sight gag. A pulse emitted from the gauntlet, making the whole area around Teri go wavy with power, then began to levitate things.

"Goddamn, I wonder how the admiral does this on a regular basis?" He grumbled, struggling to contain the glove's force. His efforts paid off, energy drawing into the device and syncing up with Exilus across the planes. Suddenly, a large beam of energy rocketed into the gauntlet from the lobby, then all went still. The whole city began to decay in an outward shockwave around him, turning the bustling Shinjuku District into an apocalyptiac's dream.

"Snae-girl, We gotta get out of here. This place is going to Davey's locker fast," He called over a small communications device, fiddling around with it to launch a portal back.
