Yea. This is no lie. I actually found a little bit of evidence about this. I was doing some research on Shinryu and Dissidia for a bit and I ended up finding information about Chaos and his relation to the 18th and 20th cycle. He went insane during the 18th cycle and tried to kill Shinryu in the 20th cycle. This was also during the time when Cid sealed Cosmos in the 20th cycle because she became powerless.

I do not know if there is a video of this yet but to me, it might be a secret ending of Dissidia 012 but I am not sure. Still, it is possible since Cosmos won the 13th war and became the sole ruler but Cid said that the cycle may not have been broken and Cosmos left her sanctuary to find the truth along with Cid. What do you guys think?

Well I think it means that Square Enix have told us that the cycle isn't over yet making availability for more Dissidia games :)

Let's face it, we knew there were a max of 13 games due to Dissidia 013. Now we know there are 20

I do not think that Nomura would actually create all 20 Dissidia games. To me, maybe he would create the first cycle of how Dissidia first began and then the final cycle and that would have been the end of the Dissidia series. I am still looking up on information on this.

I'm not suprised at all. When the first Dissidia game came out, everybody was saying how the secret ending showed that the wars were finally over and Cosmos was the only diety. But when I saw it, I figured that the wars were going to continue like they always had.

I highly doubt that they are going to do another Dissidia game but still, they had put out more information on what I had found, which is still no lie because it is a bonus storyline. The reason why Chaos survived is because he made a pact with Shinryu. Chaos still lost to Cosmos in every cycles after that and became Feral Chaos in the 18th cycle. He then killed his own warriors and Cosmos' during his insanity and Cosmos lost her powers to summon warriors who can protect her. Cid then sealed himself and then sealed the northern continent to protect himself and Shinryu. From there on, moogles and manikins populated the world after the 20th cycle.

When Cid saw Cosmos' sacrifice, he interfered directly in the 13th conflict and he broke the pact with Shinyru, allowing him to be free, which is why Shinryu was able to make a contract with Chaos. Cid helped Cosmos in the rest of the cycles. After the 20th cycle, he called on five final warriors to help him defeat Chaos once and for all. He then turned himself into a moogle.

Which then goes on to one large overlapping thing. IT'S ALL CID'S FAULT! It's his fault for the events of the original FF, it's his fault for Dissidia.

Meh. Not really. Cid had no choice and the neighboring country was threatening to kill his country. Plus, his own country wanted to force to use them or kill garland and they went and killed his wife so it is not all his fault. DX But I feel bad for Cosmos. I was hoping that we might see her as a secret character or something.

Who made the pact with Shinryu for the endless cycle of war? Cid. Who created the manikins (Or at least helped to create them)? Cid.

And what's worse? He didn't have a good reason to do so. He just did it for research or whatever.

Nobody created the manikins. According to a conversation between Laguna and the Cloud of Darkness, the manikins come from a separate realm, and they manifest themselves. As for how many more Dissidia games there will be, 012 is the last one. Main Scenario 000 finishes up the story, ending the eternal conflict in the twentieth cycle.

Uuuuh... no. Cid of the Lufaine had created the manikens. Cloud of Darkness and Laguna did not know that. yes, the Manikens came from a different realm but that was because Cid had created taht realm and imprisoned them their because they were his failed attempts. The only successful maniken that was not sealed was Cosmos, the goddess of harmony, herself. Do not try to argue with me. It is in the reports and part of the background story. She is the only maniken to be successful because she still retains all of the full memories of the original, which is Cid's wife.
