Hmm.. We'll figure this out a bit later I guess. For now lets split up the load.

Merlin - Thaumaturge, Aermage, Glacier Mage, Vapor Mage, & Shadow Mage

Riku - Pyromancer, Magnimage, Magmamage, Storm Mage, & Necromancer

Hare - Acolyte, Summoner, Geomage, Sage, & Warlock

Alright guys. This works out perfectly! You can take your time, but the sooner we get this done the better.

I think the system that we should end up using is going back to the MP that was discussed earlier. It's controlled, and simple. If you need a refresher on how I styled that here:

This means whoever has Geomage is going to have to wait to do them last and choose what the Geomage gets. However if you'd like to switch with someone talk to them and set it up. Then let me know.

Alright you guys did great, however there are no requirements for any of the spells. Also, any student who's fresh to the Mage's Spire won't have any offensive or defensive spells. Instead you might want something similar to Riku's "spark".

In order to have a fire you need a spark or enough friction/heat. So for student level spells you would want something like quiver for earth. On another note: Merlin I'm swithing Ice with Thaumaturge and replacing Thaumaturge with Hydro mage. That way it's more of a sub class of water and there isn't any confusion.

  12. merlinosheep

    merlinosheep A.K.A The Leaver

so we'll just call it ice mage now, as a sub-class of water?

  14. Haresuno

    Haresuno KH-3's Übermensch

    Merlin has a point, we need to decide on a specific number for each class. Sorry for not addressing this sooner guys. You must have a bunch of spells written up with their descriptions and everything. V.V;;

But the fact still remains. We have only -really- three levels for people to advance to. They all start out with student level spells -frost, spark, quake (w.e.)-. These are more a given because they have to have these for their characters.

If we go with only a small number of spells -4 to 6 maybe- then we have to make it difficult for people to reach those levels. Vice verse if we have a lot of spells, that means they can get more spells as they progress. As much as I like both ideas, one means more work on our part -- well no wait... Either way we still have work. I guess its up to you guys.

Also here is my list of sage spells.

    Sage
**Sages cannot mix classes! Once you have chosen an element for your sage, that is that!**

    Student:
Elemental Focus~ Before any student can wield an element for Sage training, they must first harmonize their body with their chosen element. This means rigorously training with mages and students of that class.

Calm~ After gaining ones element, students then learn to seal away their emotions so that they do not lose focus mid-battle.

    -Fire Sage-
By combining the power of fire as well as physical combat, Fire Sages are fierce fighters who utilize fire with every strike. A Fire sage's symbol is a dragon. This is because history tells that the first fire sage learned his fighting style from a dragon. "Fiery passion. Boldness in the face of fear. A dragon rages on until their enemy is defeated!" Famous words from the first Fire Sage.

    Dragon's Fist (1, 2, & 3)**
    Dragon's Armour (1, 2, & 3)
    Dragon's Breath (1, 2, & 3)
    Dragon's Claw (1, 2, & 3)
    Dragon's Palm (1, 2, & 3)
    Dragon's Tail (1, 2, & 3)

    Gaea's Claw (1, 2, & 3)
    Gaea's Palm (1, 2, & 3)
    Gaea's Tail (1, 2, & 3)
    Gaea's Heel (1, 2, & 3)

    -Wind Sage-
    Tengu's Fist (1, 2, & 3)
    Tengu's Armour (1, 2, & 3)
    Tengu's Breath (1, 2, & 3)

    Tengu's Palm (1, 2, & 3)
    Tengu's Tail (1, 2, & 3)
    Tengu's Heel (1, 2, & 3)

    -Ice Sage-
    Nymph's Fist (1, 2, & 3)

    Zeus' Breath (1, 2, & 3)

    -Necromancer Sage-
    Undead Fist (1, 2, & 3)
    Undead Armour (1, 2, & 3)
    Undead Breath (1, 2, & 3)
    Undead Claw (1, 2, & 3)
    Undead Palm (1, 2, & 3)
    Undead Tail (1, 2, & 3)
    Undead Heel (1, 2, & 3)

    -Shadow Sage-
    Shade's Fist (1, 2, & 3)
    Shade's Armour (1, 2, & 3)
    Shade's Breath (1, 2, & 3)
    Shade's Claw (1, 2, & 3)
    Shade's Palm (1, 2, & 3)
    Shade's Tail (1, 2, & 3)
    Shade's Heel (1, 2, & 3)

**Because sages are fighters they do not gain new spells per-say, however their techniques evolve as they grow stronger. Their strength is not in new spells but in old ones that they have had since the beginning.

(I know it's kinda cheap to copy like this, but this will work out for the better. I'll finish updating this tomorrow with details towards the spells, but I think you can grasp the gist of it.)

Spells available to buy with accumulated MP

    Level 0 Manipulate Fire
Can manipulate and control a small flame to do your bidding.

Spells available to buy using accumulated MP

    Level 0 Wall of Earth
Shifts the earth to raise a small wall of rock in front of the caster. Size: 6 feet wide, 4 feet tall. May be raised at a distance past level 2

Level 0 Voice of the Earth
Place self in a meditative state to listen to the voice of the earth to gain guidance. Can be used as a possible informant or warning of future danger/events.

    Level 0 Quake
Shifts the earth to create a small quake and open trench to engulf foes, then crushes them inside. Target-Line

The reason I made the spellbooks like this so that it would prevent confusion. I would rather have a spellbook that made it simple to see what I would be able to learn and achieve, rather than it being a mystery to me.

If you guys would prefer something else, I can change it, but this is (as a player) what I'd prefer.

  16. merlinosheep

    merlinosheep A.K.A The Leaver

actually.... i thought of something else for the sages.

    Example:

    Fire Sage:

    Dragon's Fist (1, 2, & 3)**
    Dragon's Armour (1, 2, & 3)
    Dragon's Breath (1, 2, & 3)
    Dragon's Claw (1, 2, & 3)
    Dragon's Palm (1, 2, & 3)
    Dragon's Tail (1, 2, & 3)
    Dragon's Heel (1, 2, & 3)

After achieving all of those spells, the sage stands at a crossroads of what to use their MP on:

Option 1: They further upgrade the spells they achieved...

Option 2: They use their sage abilities (and MP) to create their own spell (we will have to explain the sages the spell neccesarities: Target/ single, multiple, area, self or line
    Offensive, Defensive
    Easy drill...

  17. Beloved

    Beloved Azure's Beloved

Ohhh, I like that idea. So, mages are the focal point ot magical attack, and sages focus magic into their physical attacks?

  18. merlinosheep

    merlinosheep A.K.A The Leaver

Yes but still magic i think... like enhancements.... firy lightning fists of hydrolic doooooom! =3

  19. Beloved

    Beloved Azure's Beloved

This kinda changes the Rp. . .don't you think?
I mean, I thought it would all be about magic.

  20. merlinosheep

    merlinosheep A.K.A The Leaver

I kinda agree on that, aren't sages like elite mages???
Let's wait untill Hare can explain what he means with it...
