    Are there higher magic ranks than Mage? Usually, it'd go something like Mage < Sage < Archsage.

    Mage is the end all to be all title for people who learn. Though I might consider off branches that use a different system. Although, this would complicate the entire RP altogether. As I've stated before there will certain titles, such as Acolyte. Sage is a possible one and could be a more of a mixture between fighter and seer or prophet.

    I guess we should come up with a list of titles. So far we have Prophet, Sage, Acolyte, Necromancer. Anything else you can think of?

    okey here we go: sorcerer, thaumature(ice mage), pyromancer(fire mage), diviner(storm mage), necromancer(death mage), acolyte(life mage)
    i got summoner (mythical mage) too but i forgot the name

    Okay, sorcerer is still a rank rather than a class. All the others except necro are acceptable. I want to put necromancer as a warlock specialty. Summoner works just fine, they don't need fancy names. Oh! And we've also got magic where people can speak with specific animals. Earth mage, too.

    Hmm.. I wouldn't say yes. Life would be more soul, combined with elements. Earth would be more like using the ground around you.

    yeah allright. And i also forgot to mension balance mages =P (balance mages use the earth around them to adept to the situation.) kinda like earth mages.

    Maybe you could explain on that a bit more. When you think balance, you typically think someone who is trained equally in certain aspects.

    yes exactly. We could add balance mages with a limit of 3 elements +-
    they will be less powerfull in every element but will have their powers.

    Okay I see what your saying. Because they are trained in more elements, they are weaker, but they have more versatility.

    Lol thank you for letting us know that Shadow. But from here on out I'll ask that if anyone has any comments about this RP; please do not hesitate to PM me or Merlin. Weather it be a suggestion or a simple comment on how you are awaiting this RP to open.

    Merlin, do you think we should set up a list of spells before hand or should we trust the players to know do that for themselves, and should we have a cap on the number of spells they have?

    Yeah! Geomancer, that's it!
    anyway about the spellbook:
    we should set up spellbooks for each school. Then, every RP'er will have a limited amount of training points to spend it on. for instance:

    death school:

    death touch (rank 1) [available for upgrade]
    banshee's scream
    Grave rot

    when i have 2 training points for instance, i would train: death touch rank 1
    banshee's scream rank 1
    you can also upgrade spells with another training point or gift.
    Of course all the spells will be explained before training.
