Demon Hunter (Actual RP)

Cheribus entered the Grand Castle of Heaven and knelt before St. Michael, who stood before God's throne rather than sitting in it. St. Michael was in charge but he still recognized that not even he was worthy to sit in the throne of his creator.

"You summoned me Archangel?" said Cheribus.

"Yes, I have a special task for you, Cheribus." said St, Michael. "It has come to the council's attention that the armies of Satan have begun to move in on the Earth, the prophets speak of a group of humans who are coming together to fight against them. As a guardian angel i want you to look over one of the humans, a priest by the name of Damion. "

"Sir, why is a priest hunting demons? I thought the practices of exorcism were the limits to the church's involvement with them. " asked Cheribus

"This one is a different kind of priest, he is from a cult that still follows the ways of Christ however, they do not answer to the Vatican and therefore are not bound by their laws. This one will play a big role, but I want you to know, watch over his entire group, not Just Damion. The reason for this is we can only send out so many guardians at this time, and each one can only be assigned to one human. There is one there by the name of Will, and the other Howl, watch them both as carefully as you would Damion. When you arrive to earth, find the one called Will, he will take you to Damion and the rest of the team. "

"As you command, Archangel. " was Cheribus' response. Cheribus then set off for the Earth, then one of the Seraphim entered the chamber.

"Archangel, why did you send him for Damion when Will is the desired target? " he asked.

"Because, I need Cheribus to make sure Will will be the right vessel for me to make my pressence on Earth known, however, I cannot use Will to do something he cannot agree with. Damion will be accepting of Cheribus right away seeing as he is an angel, then hopefully over time Will shall also grow to trust Cheribus. If the rest of the team learns to trust the angels so will Will. I will use that trust of angels to sway Will to our motives, i will make him see that what we plan to do is right. " said St. Michael.

Cheribus set foot on the Earth, but no human could see him, even if they looked right at him. Such was how Cheribus wanted it.

He came to a food vender establishment, and inside he saw the one named Will, from through the window Cheribus made it so Will was the only one who could see him. Cheribus spread his wings and waited, if Will spotted him, Will would come to investigate. Cheribus could not risk conversing with Will in a public place, he would have to lead him away from the humans, it was the only way to Damion.

 

Izanagi yawned "Damn, that was a good shake !" he yelled making people in the burger joint jump. Izanami sighed "Not so loud...were going to get kicked out again. "If we do screw them !!!! he said a little to loud so the waitress pointed to the door. As Izanagi walked out he flicked off the waitress. "Oh come on don't do that !" Izanami said slapping his hand away. "Pfft, why not." Izanagi said rubbing his hand. "Because it's rude." Izanagi rolled his eyes before getting out his sword and charging at Cheribus. "You could of picked a better hiding place angel !!!" he said jumping in the air and bringing his bokken down on the angel's head.

 

Haos saw will ackting strange so she took her time off early and fallowed him straight to the deserted area he went to. she saw him talking but didn't see who she was talking to. then she realised there was no one there. "Is he talking to an angel?" she thought. "More less..." said Chaos who appered from no where "...we demons can't controle who we are seen by so it wouldn't make sence for him to be talking to a demon...strange though...I thought angels were trained to kill demons on sight?" she finished saying. Haos replyed back "I don't like to fight unless I have a reson..." Chaos chucled and replyed back saying "realy?...me neither..."

 

>Only Will can see Cheribus!!!!!! Not even other supernatural beings can see a Guardian angel if he doesn't want them to. Cheribus looked sideways at Will, Not many people would be rude to an angel, this was a new experience for him.

"I am a guardian angel known as Cheribus, I have been charged to safegurad the one called Damion and the rest of your team. I was able to find you, but I would be most grateful if you could take me to him. Great danger awaits you, I was told to protect you all as best as I could. This order was given by the Archangel St. Michael himself. " Cheribus could only hope his words would be effective. Will seemed very hostile to him right off the bat. The Flaming Guardian Sword remained in it's sheath with resided on Cheribus' back. Cheribus can sense that demonic presences remained in the area, but not close enough to warrent imediate action, he would just have to keep his eyes open.

 

"As I said, You and your team is in great danger, far greater you could imagine. I was chosen due to my lineage to protect you all. You see I am descended from the Cherub who guards the Garden of Eden after Adam and Eve were expelled. Michael chose your team to be safeguarded because The seraphim predicted you will all be key participants in the coming battle. As for your other question, I can only hide from our enemies as long as I am without a vessel, I can keep my powers of concealment, flight, and still use my weapon even without a vessel, and given how strong I am that's all the power I will need for now. Now, I must insist that you take me back to the others, I can sense evil is nearby, and it would be wise to find a place to hide before trouble comes our way. " Explained Cheribus. "Also, perhaps, you'd best refrain from showing such animosity to your fellow man? I understand Damion is full of himself (I was briefed about him before I came here) But seeing as i DID come from God himself, I feel wrong seeing such feelings in between two humans, you were all created to be brothers after all." he said with a timid smile.

 

"What riddles?" asked Cheribus. "I meant what i said. Some time in the future, a war between the angels and the demons will plague this world. You, the humans, will be caught in the crossfire. Will, Howl, and Damion have been foreseen leading the humans to safety, and helping to end the war. However, You are not safe, and for the humans to survive, you must be protected from the forces of Darkness. That is my role. When I said "key participants" That is what i meant, that you will all be a major part of this war. Please believe me! It is very important that I meet your team, so that i can begin my protection! " pleaded Cheribus.

 

when Haos heard of the battle she knew for a fact that Will was talking to an angel. she jumped down and walked over to will asking "Who are you talking too?" then along with her came Chaos but she stood at a far distence because she knew this man was a demon hunter and might be able to tell she was a demon.

 

Bartholomew drew his sword and swooped out over a mountain range. He smelled the air. "Demons." he muttered. He swooped to the ground, and fell into a battle of striking and clashing.

Cheribuscould see with his angelic eyes that the girl was a demon. Right now Will was the only one could could hear him as well, so he spoke to him.

"Careful, she is a demon! she cannot hear or see me, that is permission I have given only to you. Be wary with your words. It would be wise to not let on you are speaking with an angel." Cheribus drew the Flaming Sword. "If it comes to a battle, I shall protect you." he said.

 

Howl looked at the two girls who were comeing to the car and said "Hands up!!" Haos just walked to where will was and said "I am an angel her shes a demon so watch her." then she walked into the store and talked to Will. "I need to talk to you later on...ecpecily if you want to kill a fallower of god...I ain't sure who told you I was a demon but I ain't one...IF you were talking to Cheribus then meet me outside." then she walkexd out and waited next to the car. she looked at Damien and asked "So why is one of gods fallowers fallowing someone who would kill us angels?"
mean while Howl and Chaos were in the middle of a stare down. "What do you have aginst Demons that are inecent? I haven't done nothing wrong the intier time I have been here. OR the hole time I have been alive for that mater..." Howl didn't lower his gun but he did ask "Why should I belive you? All I know is that I am a hunter to kill demons and that includes you!" then as he shot he saw that the girl was not there. she appered behind him and said "I won't blame you for wanting to kill demons. but I don't want to kill you either. so how about we call it a seace fire." then she sat on the back of the car listening to the convo between Haos and Damien.

Damion stepped out of the car and faced Haos.

"I am but a priest, how am I to know the day-to-day workings of God, I simply teach his message, and kill demons. More importantly, If you speak the truth, and you ARE in fact an angel, then why do you show yourself to us. I am uninclined to believe you are in fact an angel, I may be a priest, but that is a far stretch even for me. "

Cheribus followed Will back to the car, where things seemed to be going to Hell in a handbasket. Then he saw Damion step out of the car. Cheribus continued to give Will permission to see him, but also included Damion to be able to see as well. They were the only two now, to everyone else he would be unseen, and unheard.

"Damion, you and Will are the only two who can see me. I am the guardian angel Cheribus." to prove himself, Cheribus spread his wings. "Don't tell the others about me, don't even speak for now. Just listen. I was sent to protect you because you, Howl, and Will have been foreseen as important warriors in an upcomming battle between the angels and demons. A battle which Humanity will be caught in the middle of. I need to protect you, to be sure you will live to see this battle." said Cheribus.

As the angel spoke, Damion listned, without even saying a word, or changing his expression. when he finished Damion subtley nodded to show he understood. then he called to Will.

"WILL! Come here, there is something of grave importance I must speak to you about!" he looked at the others. "In private!"

 

A portal opened in the middle of the ground suddenly there was a man arising from this dark portal. When the man finally reached the surface he chuckled.

Aeon looked around."So....where can I get a cigarette around here haven't had one in decades". He said, then he noticed a convenient store and walked over to it. He opened the door and looked at the cashier then walked up to him. "Cigarettes...Newports" Aeon said. The cashier looked at him and said "Identification please". Aeon looked at him and drew his sword then said "Give me the damn cigarettes now or you'll have an early trip to Hell!". The cashier grabbed three packs of cigarettes and handed them to Aeon. Aeon then snatched them from him and walked out of the store. The Cashier hit the siren and called the police once Aeon walked out of the door and began giving a description of him.

 

Haos fallowed Damien even though he said in privite. "If this has to do with that war between Hevan and Hell then I am a part of this to. if you don't belive me ask the gardian angel Cheribus that you were speaking to. and Cheribus I ain't gona stand for you hideing from me...I want to be able to talk to you ya know..."

mean while Chaos had disappeared into the night. that was Aeons aora... she thoguth I'm sure of it... when she finaly caught up to Aeon she was gasping for breath but she was able to ask "What...are you doing here...Aeon?"

 

"Personal Business Chaos if I tell you....well lets just say it wont be pretty around here" Aeon said then chuckled. Aeon opened up a pack of cigarettes, grabbed a cigarette out and lit it with a metal lighter that suddenly appeared in his hand out of no where. "So why are you here?" Aeon said to Chaos as he put the cigarette in his mouth.

 

Chaos grabed a cig from Aeon and grabed the lighter to light her own then said "I needed some time from the underworld...HE is getting on my nerves. the so called 'Jester of Hell can't even be dead when no one wants him."
then she took a swig and blew out the smoke. "So you got plans while your up here?"
