Deja Vu: The New Organization

Eve laughed darkly "If you want my help you're going to have to be a little less like you want to kill me or I don't think I can trust you." she said with a wink. She leaned against the wall with a carefree look on her face. "Anyway she's technically not dead because I'm part of her and I'm still alive. She's more like trapped on a pretty thin like between life and death. Should I draw a picture or are you keeping up so far?" she said though she didn't wait for him to respond to that "She and I share a lifespan so I can give her back the part of our lifespan I took when we went our separate ways."

She straightened up and got a little more serious "This is where you come in. It's not just going to happen overnight. There are things I need and people I need dead in order to do that. This requires things to do that 'good Hunter' wouldn't be very comfortable doing I dont think."

 

Eve got annoyed "Are you not listening to ANYTHING! I told you I would do it so calm down a little." she rolled her eyes, "Man you're dumb." she whispered before she spoke again "It's not just something I can do any f****** minute of the day though. I need to know who killed her in the first place..." a half smile appeared on her face "...I think you would like to know that too."

 

Eve giggled darkly and then folded her arms, "Think about it Hunter if you'd ask me it isn't that hard to figure out on your own. Who would want Jaxx dead? To think about it who would want ME dead and would have mistaken her for me? Is there someone who really liked to make your life a living hell?"

 

Fully angry herself now, Eve stood up. She hadn't expected Hunter to be hostile so suddenly like Jaxx would have known. She chastized hereself not knowing him as much as she did as she answered him in a voice stiff with annoyance "I said I was going to help and I am but you HAVE to calm down or we aren't going to get anywyere!" she said irritably.
She looked at Jaxx lying on the ground as she spoke "I'll do whatever it takes to get her back but as for your little revenge scheme you're on your own. Find out who did it for yourself." she said with a short growl.

 

Eve shoved past Hunter roughly and walked over to Jaxx. She picked her up gently and then opened a portal. She looked at Hunter with the same death stare Jaxx always had when she was pissed off and then she walked through the portal leaving it open for Hunter to follow. She couldn't very well discuss it out there in the open where who knows who could be listening. Unlike Jaxx, Eve was always suspicious.

The portal lead to a sort of small room. It was dimly lit and sort of cluttered with books strung across shelves on the walls and potion ingredients as well. She set Jaxx down on a bed in the corner of the room and then closed the portal as Hunter entered. "Like I said before your little tantrum I can give her my life and she'll survive like that but the thing is she and I will be one person again. But It's not just something thats going to happen in five seconds. It may take weeks at least so be patient with me and maybe I wont just stab her and call it a night ok." she raised an eyebrow but didn't wait for a responce as she walked over to one of the book shelves and ran her finger along the bindings of the books looking for one specific one.

 

Eve found the book she was looking for and tossed it on the table in the middle of the room, not exactly being gentle with it at all. She looked at Jaxx again and then sighed before looking at Hunter "It's kind of a complicated spell and unfortunately not all of us can be as brilliant at magic as Voltiar." she growled as she looked away again and walked over to Jaxx and pulled a throwing knife out of her pocket.

 

Kat lingered back as she saw the expression on Elyon's face. She put her hand on Elyon's sholder "No long faces kid." she said solomly. "She keeps her promises you'll see her again." she winked and then looked at Voltiar and let Elyon continue through the portal "Go easy on the training for now..." she said she was asking him though not telling him to do it forcefully "I don't think you really know how hard this is for her."

Eve cut a lock of hair off of Jaxx's hair and tied it together with a glowing string of some sort. She looked at Hunter "Just so you know I don't HAVE to help you do anything..." she looked away again and walked over to the door "Just keep that in mind."

 

Kat studied his expression "You're thinking something that I'm going to hate aren't you?"

Eve hadn't been expecting that responce. She stopped for a second and then responded "You're welcome... now don't you have some hunting to do?" she said as she walked out of the room to find something else she would need for the spell.

 

Eve sighed "I won't tell you exactly because I think I might be wrong. But I'll give you a hint as long as you promise not to throw a fit again." she said without looking at him "It's probably one of the last people you would expect would have done it." with that she knocked his hand away and left.
