Deja Vu: The New Organization

Eve shook her head "It's that through all this Jaxx still picked Hunter over you." she used his moment of suprise to her advantage as she punched him square in the face and then kicked him in the stomach knocking him to the ground again. "Don't be so suprised don't worry Jaxx doesn't know about your little crush. Fortunately for you she didn't exactly get our observant side."

Jaxx was fighting four different heartless at once. Suddenly she was really frustrated. Most of the heartless were already dead but the darkside was still causing problems. She had lost sight of Hunter somewhere within the fricken heartless attack. She killed the remaining heartless around her and then realized she had a clear shot to the darkside. She didn't have time to wait for Hunter's help nor did she really care to. The Darkside was summoning more heartless with every one they killed. She sprinted toward it killing any heartless or other enemy that got in her way with a quick spell or a brief slash of her sword. Once she was at a closer distance away from it she climbed up the side of one of the buildings in no time at all seeing as most of it was blown to pieces and she had a lot of places to get a grip. After she was at the top she looked down taking only a second to see where Hunter was and to make sure he didn't need her help. She knew he was still a little weakened from his most recent fights. She shook her head and looked back at the darkside. She was only a short distance away from it but she still had to get closer in order to do the attack she planned. She really wasn't thinking about it at all only acting on an impulse with no specific plan at all or any thought on what she would do next after she had attacked. All she knew was the Darkside had to die or else this world was going to dissapear along with herself and Hunter and whoever else was on it.

She ran to the edge of the building and jumped, landing on her feet just barely on the edge of the next one. Had she been just a little shorter in her jump she would have fallen off the edge. She cursed herself for that as she ran to the next one and jumped harder this time. The next building was shorter than the other two and also the roof was slightly slanted so in order to land without breaking her ancle or something she had to summersult as she landed but that didn't break her speed at all as she was back on her feet in one fluid movement and right where she wanted to be. She changed direction comming up right in front of the darkside wanting to end this fight with just one move because that was all she had the chance for.

She closed her eyes and jumped, her katanas glowed with light *What little she does have now* and she used her element both old and new to set them on fire. They were also sparking with electricity as she was now directly in front of the Darkside's heart. She threw her katanas straight at it and both of them landed right on target. One through it's heart and one through it's head. Both stabbed straight through the monster and then out the other side like a bullet so she knew she had killed it. Then with her magic inside it she muttered something under her breath that made the spell on her katanas and also now in the heartless to double in effect. The heartless's whole body sparked and then set on fire. It again gave a horrible shreik but this time a lot louder. All the heartless it had conjured dissapeared. Jaxx had overestimated the ammount of time she had to reach the other building and as she had just barely begun to summon her katanas back she suddenly ran into it. She felt her back hit the wall hard and she reached up just in time to grab onto the ledge, cursing herself yet again for being such a clutz all the sudden. She pulled herself up onto the edge and sat there as she summoned her katanas back, examining the injury she had on her sholder because of hitting the wall as hard as she did. She looked down over the ground to find Hunter just as he killed the last of the Phantom heartless and it's little shadows. She smiled brightly and waved at him, letting him know it was over.

She hadn't been expecting the Darkside to attack as it was dying though. They were usually too stupid to do so. Jaxx stood up and just as she stopped waving at Hunter and walked over to the edge, about to jump down she felt the entire building shake. Taken off guard she fell to her hands and knees. The Darkside which was fallen on the ground and faiding away had slammed it's fist into the side of the tower Jaxx was standing on. Jaxx's smile faided as she heard a lot of cracking sounds and watched the heartless draw back it's fist to do it again "Oh shi..." she muttered as she stood up and had just begun running to the edge but it was too late as it pounded it's fist against the wall again and the entire building collapsed. Jaxx's jump was thrown off course and she was falling out of control. She didn't panic though as she looked around for a way to slow her fall or a way to stop herself from falling altogether. She pulled out her katana and stabbed into the wall of the building beside it. This building was basicly destroyed anyway so the walls weren't as strong as they should have been. She used the katana as a sort of way to slow her fall down and to get control. As she was about two yards from the ground she kicked off the wall and landed on her feet, breathing hard and her heart racing from the near death experience. She coughed a little, the fall of the building as well as of the heartless had made a lot of dust in the air that made it hard to breathe or to see for that matter. She shook some of the dust out of her hair and looked around. As far as she could tell all of the heartless were dead but she couldn't see Hunter anywhere. She smiled as she caught sight of him finally and started running toward him, limping slightly but she didn't let the pain in her knee bother her as much as she was sure it was going to later.

 

Jaxx wasn't even sure what hit her for a second. The shock and confusion of the moment delayed the pain that suddenly gripped her heart like a steal hand. She couldn't help it, she screamed as she felt the iron rod stab through her. She could feel every little part it touched like it was made of fire. She hit the wall hard and when she hit her head she felt a little dizzy from the loss of blood and from the blow to her head. Her first instint was to reach up and try to move the rod but every muscle in her body didn't seem to want to move at all. She saw brief flashes of time as her attacker fled as she begain to lose conciousness.

Eve was gasping, Jaxx was blacking out from shock, pain, and loss of blood. Eve could feel her dying. She felt herself getting weaker as well. She felt Jaxx's pain. For a moment she forgot where she was and she suddenly WAS Jaxx again. She saw herself surrounded by dust and smoke so think it was hard to see at all. She saw Hunter only a short distance away. She called to him. It hurt so much more to speak though and it was cut off short by a gasp for breath which just seemed to make the pain and dizzyness worse. Eve yanked herself back into her own body again and looked up at Blake, Twila and Page.

Jaxx reached up and tried with the last bit of streingth she had to pull the rod away from her body. It fell to the ground with a loud, echong crash that seemed to go on forever as Jaxx fell to her knees. She saw no color but the crimson red of her blood as it stained the sidewalk and her hands and hair. Her breath came in jagged gasps and coughs. She heard footsteps hear her and knew who it was without looking at him. "Hun...ter...."

 

*Lol oh please! Oath and I told you it was going to happen.*

Jaxx couldn't feel anything but the severe agony in her heart both physically and emotionally. She knew she was going to die. She just couldn't say no to him though. He was practically begging her to stay and she couldn't do it. She felt like she was betraying him, turning her back on him. She didn't want to look at the wounds that were killing her and she didn't want to look around for the identity of her murderer she just lookd up at Hunter. She couldn't see anything but him, even the unwelcome crimson of her blood on her hands and her hair faided away. "T... take care of yourself... hotshot." she said between shuddering weak breaths. That was a nickname she use to have for him years ago from before they even considered themselves a couple. She hadn't used it since the first day they met.

Eve looked up at them "Yes I know where they are. You have to let me go right now or both she and I are going to die." she said suddenly solom. Of course she could very well be lying to get away. There really was no evidence she would die when Jaxx did and there was no way for Blake, Page, and Twila to be sure Eve was going to help at all.

 

*lol yeah we might be bringing Jaxx back but I have a different method in mind that gets rid of Eve... sort of... (Mysterious smile)*

Tears flooded Jaxx's eyes as she said this "...I...I'll always love you..." she said through weak gasps for breath. She was astonished how much it hurt worse to talk but she had to say this. She had been on his side of this situation before. She remembered being haunted by the memories of his death every time she closed her eyes. She had to warn him not to think about now, "Re... remember the... times that made you smile..." She coughed a few times and then closed her eyes, feeling herself fade away.

Kat glared "Look we don't have time for this!" she yelled, her hand still clutched over her heart. Her voice was distorted with pain "You have to let me go and get to them or she and I are both going to die."

 

Jaxx either couldn't or wouldn't say anything more. She just lay there as her streingth left her faster and faster. Eventually the agony in her heart started to fade away and the sound of her own heart got quieter as well. The last thing she heard was Hunter's promise before she didn't remember anything more. Her tight hold on Hunter's hand loosened and then fell as she let go of her last breath.

 

Eve dissapeared.

Kat appeared next to Page and Voltiar "What's going on?" she said. She had been away for the past hour she has no idea why everyone is so upset.

*Nobody revive Jaxx for a while. I plan on bringing her back just not now.*

 

Kat was too suprised to know what to say "...She's?" tears appeared in her eyes but she shook her head. "It wasn't your fault Voltiar." Kat said sadly. Kat of course was deeply sad about the death of her friend but she also found herself worried about Hunter. How as he taking this? She shook her head not wanting to think about the answer to that.

Eve slowly walked toward Jaxx and Hunter through the ruins the heartless had created. She knew she could save Jaxx but she also knew it wouldn't just happen overnight. She saw Hunter kneeling over the barely live good side and she felt no compasion. But she did feel Jaxx's overwhelming need to help him. She couldn't help it, they were the same person. She felt the same way about him Jaxx did wether she liked it or not. She sighed, making it known to him she was there by speaking softly, her voice was weakened when her lighter half was killed. "If you want to see her alive again you'll have to trust me." she said, the first time anyone has really ever seen her serious.

 

Eve smiled coldly, "Funny really what 'love' can do. I've never seen you look as pethetic as now." she rolled her eyes and walked closer to them as she answered his question "Well first off..." she knelt down and healed her good side not enough that it would have saved her but at least she wasn't all covered in blood anymore. "Red isn't really her color." she said with a shrug. Then she looked at Hunter as she stood up "I can bring her back but I don't think you're going to like the method I have in mind."
