Deja Vu: The New Organization

Eve smiled "Maybe thats a story for annother time. It's kind of a messy one." she said as if she was talking to a child. "It's a lost cause you know. You can't kill me without killing a part of Jaxx as well. You're willing to betray your friend?"

Jaxx thought for a moment, "I dont know." she said with a laugh. For the first time she had no clue what to do next. She had every option. She shook her head "...Wherever we want I guess." she started walking forward again. She wondered where Eve went and she read into Eve's memories a little just enough to catch glimpses of the castle and Voltiar. She looked over her sholder at Hunter "You comming?" she said, smiling.

 

Eve shook her head, not looking at Voltiar as she spoke continuing to file her fingernails without much care of her company. "You better not let your little friends hear that especially not Katsumi. Thats what makes you so interesting to her you know? She thought you were different." she laughed.

 

Eve smiled and shrugged "Yes well when you found her at Twilight Town her orders were to kill you right on the spot. Facinating really that it was after she got THOSE orders she actually started taking actions to turn on her organization and free herself and her fellow members- Not the orders she got to kill Hunter." she giggled darkly as she stood up and walked to the door "Listen well Voltiar because this is the last time you and I will talk as friends I believe. Katsumi was right when she said the only thing you can really trust in is your friends and loved ones. The light left her when she made a few simple mistakes. The light, darkness, and twilight will come and go with the ages but one thing that you should always keep close is those that trust you." Eve laughed and walked to the door "If you think about it, were is love or light without trust?"

 

Eve just shrugged "Just curious." she said casually. "Just think though. What if had been Katsumi in Jaxx's position? Would it still been your duty to kill her as well?" she looked over her sholder at Voltiar "Look through Hunter's eyes before you jump to conclusions." she dissapeared.

 

Eve appeared again in Twilight Town in the back allyway. "Huh that was fun." she said as she smiled and started walking forward. Really her scheme she didn't find so much evil as much as proof. That light and dark didn't matter and soon after that maybe she would find that love didn't either. Every time she thought that though she would think about Hunter. She dailey cursed her feelings for her good side's boyfriend. Everything about him confused her. He was so abnoxious in just about every way to Eve but at the same time whenever she saw him she almost forgot everything else. 'Ugh I'm no better then Jaxx!' She thought to herself as the pace of her walking sped up a little in her frustration. Then she smirked a little "But the closer our thoughts are the more likely it will be for the two of us to be one again and then the main plan can set in action." she thought to herself with a sly smile.

Kat appeared back in her room a while after the conversation about Jaxx and Hunter ended. Her sword was covered in heartless blood. She looked a little tired but she felt a lot less stressed out. She sat down on her bed with a sigh and looked out the window. For about a fraction of a second she thought she felt Jaxx's presence in the castle again but then the feeling was gone before she could focus much into it.

Jaxx had run ahead a little ways just for the fun of it. She really wasn't sure where she was but she didn't care much anymore. After a minaute or two she stopped and waited for Hunter to catch up. She had half a mind to go back and look for him but she was a little winded because she'd been sprinting the whole way and plus it wouldn't kill him to come find her so she just leaned against the wall. She lifted her hand and snapped her fingers, a small flame appeared on her index finger and when she snapped again it was gone. She smiled a little, interested with her new power that had been hiding while she had princess of heart powers. She focused harder and managed to get a larger flame over her whole palm, not exactly touching her skin but only inches away. She whistled softly and then let her concentration on keeping the flame fade. She looked back in the direction she came to see if he had caught up yet.

 

Sometime while waiting for Hunter to catch up Jaxx got bored. She looked ahead slightly to see the scenery was changing from the city they were in that seemed to be uninhabited to....
she had to concentrate to really tell but it looked almsot like a forested area. Curious, Jaxx impailed her sword into the ground so just in case Hunter got back before she did he would know she was ok. Then she ran farter ahead to see what it was. It only took her a minute or two to reach it and what she found was even more confusing to her. How could a city end so abruptly into a forest? And more than that it was night in the city but as she walked from city to forest she saw sunlight over the treetops. "oook." she muttered to herself as she took a few more steps forward. She walked up to the first tree she saw which seemed to be pretty tall and she jumped to the first branch then it only took her a few seconds to climb the rest of it to the top branch. The view from there was extraordinary to her but she hadn't seen much outside battle scenes and the organization's castle. She wondered if Hunter had. Was that one of the reasons he decided to leave with her? Because he knew there was more than that? More sights and places like this? Or was he just being honest back when they first got here: Because he wanted to be with her without worrying about anything else. She decided it must be both as she looked back toward the city. She was still curious about how it just ended in such an abrupt way but she decided not to look farther into it without him and chance getting in trouble or getting him in trouble. She jumped down, grabbing a branch or two on the way down to slow her fall. She landed on her feet on the ground. Then she walked back over to where she had left her katana. She would have to show him what she found after he caught up 'if he catches up the slowpoke' she thought to herself with a smile.

 

Jaxx looked back one more time then ran back to her katana realizing she had done something pretty stupid leaving it unatended in land she didn't know. IF it was inhabited by enemies her katana was a givaway already of who or how strong she was if they used the right magic. She got back a few minutes after Hunter did. She smiled at him but didn't say anything as she picked her katana up and put it away. "Took you long enough slow poke." she said with a laugh.
Her smile faided after a moment though. She sighed and looked away before she looked back at Hunter "If I tell you something do you promise you won't laugh?" she said suddenly.

 

Jaxx shared Hunters thought that they might be being watched but she didn't sence anyone or see anyone when she scouted ahead so she wasn't that worried. She lowered her voice a little though "What if I told you I was sick of all this fighting in general? As in..." she shook her head "nevermind." suddenly she heard some movement. It was a ways away but she looked in that direction suddenly alert anyway.

 

Jaxx studied the area where she heard the sound. Hunter didn't seem to hear it or if he did he didn't seem that worried about it. Maybe she had just imagined it or it wasn't anything relevant. She shook her head, and looked back at Hunter. "...I said nevermind it was stupid anyway." she said as she took her arm back. "...Did you hear that or am I paranoyed."
