Cursed Angels

"Its about the acursed.." Crimson looked down, she didn't know what to say..

 

Sheathing his blade after he had wiped the blood from it, he turned to face the corpse of the man who had charged him. He wondered if he should use Redemption on the man's soul. The man had only been doing what he thought was right, and Michael felt no evil in the man. Lifting his right hand so it was extended out towards the dead body, and muttered, "Venia es vestri sins. Redemptio." Closing his eyes to focus a brilliant light shone and died out as soon as it had come, "May your soul find its peace in the pressence of God." He spoke aloud. When he turned around his shoulders slumped and a long sigh slipped from him, speaking before the other person in the shadow could see him sighing, "And to what do I owe the honor of the highest of us, nay, the highest of Angels, coming to see a poor misguided fool? Metatron."

Used a Latin translator. What I said was, "Forgiven are your sins. Redemption."

Metatron bowed to Michael "I also came to talk to you about somethings you might know like the frequency of angels and demons mixing... Like fighting or possibly helping each other." He looked around and smiled. "I do hope they're not worshiping you Michael," His smile faltered and looked pained "because we both know what happens when any angel is worshiped by humans.....some of us know it more then others." Metatron reached to his back in a nervous gesture as his thoughts moved to the past. If one looked in his book they would see that Metatron knew the punishment for being worshiped because he recieved his lashings for it, with a fiery rod.

 

pardon but how does this tie into our story at all I mean all of us have been on one subject and you have been on another

"It answers from your point of view" Crimson said sighing. " But God, our father can not be seen as evil. He is ever gracious"

 

Running a hand through his hair Michael sighed. He turned to face Metatron, "No, they are not worshiping me as a god. A king, actually, and only little more than half. The other half think I'm cruel for setting the rules that allow many to get into heaven. No one even knows I'm an angel, so." He walked in a half circle around Metatron for a moment before stopping, "As for angels and demons mixing, I have no answer for you." He spread his hands and made a half bow as to apologize, "If you want we could continue this conversation in a more private area."

Metatron smiled at Michael "Aye, we probably should go somewhere private because I need somewhere to 'stretch' if you catch my meaning..."

 

"Very well, but please. I ask of you not to use my name. I have no right to it anymore. At least not from you or any other angel. If you must name me from now on do so as either Mika'il or Sabbathiel. But it is your choice I cannot force you or order you. You stand high above me Metatron, more so now than before." Michael turned and started for a chamber door at the other end of the room. As he reached it his hand froze on the door. He turned to look at Metatron, "Why did you really come. Is it to mock me? Or insult me? I know you to be better than this Metatron!" His voice was growing hotter with each word and when he realized that it was almost at a shout he swallowed hard and bowed so deep that his head almost brushed the floor, "I apologize. I should not have raised my voice. It seems being exhiled like this is taking its toll and I forget myself. I'm not like Gabriel. I remember he had been exhiled once before, but the Lord let him back. I wonder how 'the man clothed in linen' is doing." He chuckled and turned back to push the door open and stood to the side offering Metatron entrance.

 

Metatron looked at Michael with a form of pity and followed him "I do not condone our lords actions but never forget that even if you were exiled it doesn't mean he doesn't love you, and you know me better than anyone Michael, you know I would not come here just to taunt you." He walked even with Michael and put a hand on his shoulder. "And i want you to know that no matter how hard you try you will always be Michael to me for I still regard you as I did before."
