    My Character

Name: Glyde Savian, “The Wayward Marksman”
    Age: 21
    Gender: Male
    Universe: Kingdom Hearts
    Race: Human
    Role: Keybearer; Ex-Keyblade Knight
    Hometown: Twilight Town
    Current Occupation: Multiversal Drifter

Appearance: Glyde stands at a height just under the six foot mark, at about five feet, eleven inches tall. His figure is noticeably and average one, having proportions that are balanced to the effect of a relatively well-flowing and sensible physique. His arms span roughly two and a half feet starting from the shoulders, and his legs and torso each comprise roughly half of his body, offering few awkwardly appendages. In terms of fitness, he is considerably well-built, owing back to his days of military-style training, which utilized cross training conditioning techniques to a produced a physical form that was not excessively bulky, but lithe and cut, with the strength, speed and dexterity with which to engage in a variety of physical trials effectively. The chief abnormality in Glyde’s build is in his head, and parts of his face, which has a thin, pointed look about it in a manner that seems to harken to an avian throwback, such as a hawk or falcon.

Glyde’s complexion is one of a light, olive tan, reminiscent of some denizens of the Olympus Coliseum. His skin is traditionally smooth to the touch, and his body is free of gratuitous amounts of hair beyond that which is upon his head and what grows on his face. His hair is a dark, just black shade, and can grow quite long when left untrimmed for long periods of time. Even at length, however, his hair retains a straight, easily maintained quality, with curls being easily combed out. His preference for hair style has often been military crew cut. Left without shaving over time, he grows facial hair to match that of his head hair, notably a joined beard and mustache, which, which thickly matted, only ever reach about a quarter of an inch in length. His eyes share the same color as his hair, and, though sometimes they take on the distinctive glimmer of a black pearl, are usually somewhat dull and foggy.

Notable Features: Glyde’s body is riddled with the faint remains of past injuries. Scars and bruises of both combative and mundane origin dot his features, particularly upon his chest, back and his face. His hair is cut short in the roughest, do-it-yourself manner possible, resulting, despite his best efforts, in a scraggling, unkempt mess upon the top of his head, and his facial hair has grown out to as long as it naturally can. The outer layer of his attire has evidently been through some weathering and wear over the course of his travels.

Typical Attire:Glyde’s clothing habits have changed very little since his younger days. He has always been the sort to wear all black garments, occasionally with trims of color, even in the sweltering heat; this much doesn’t seem to bother him to any extent, as his body has grown accustomed to the heat. His favored base layer consists of a turtle next shirt, woven from a Mythril-derived fabric, which doubles as a sort of light padding, and a pair of military-style cargo pants that are fit specifically to his own body, and held up by a nondescript belt. He wears black combat boots, over a pair of outdoor-worthy socks that keep his feet comfortable and dry.

Beneath the turtleneck, he wears a sort of wife beater or tank top shirt, that practically hugs his torso. Over all of this, he has taken to wearing a pocket-cluttered, knee length leather trench coat, which sports a hood that fits snug over his face, as to obscure it from view when he sees it appropriate.

Historical Outlook: A Keybearer, known to have originated in Twilight Town, Glyde was once a highly looked to graduate of the prestigious Keyblade Academy certified under the Keyblade Society of his Realm of Light. However, a botched mission and the desecration of the Academy’s presumed “Hallowed Grounds” resulted in Glyde’s immediate expulsion from the ranks of the Keyblade Knights. Following this, and a brief period of house arrest, Glyde escaped his bondage in Twilight Town and embarked on a Multiversal journey alongside former adversary, Malisa Jals, from whom he learned a great deal of new magic and skills. Though he has since departed from her company, he has utilized the skills learned from her to continue his Multiversal travels, making his living as a soldier of fortune.

Weapon: Marksman Keyblade; Glyde’s most preferred and trusted weapon over the course of the years, Markman is the Keyblade that chose him, his Heart, to wield it. It is a weapon almost as nondescript as Glyde’s own looks and choice of clothing: a simple weapon, with little flare and few extraneous design features, thus creating a smooth, streamlined piece of Mystic weaponry. As it’s name would imply, Marksman is a Keyblade that takes on the rough form of a firearm. The Marksman Keyblade can take on several different forms.
    • Hunter’s Arm; the base Keyblade of Glyde’s roster, this weapon measures about three feet, eight inches in total length. Of this, a foot-and-a-half is allotted to a hilt formed in a manner akin to the stock of a rifle. This element levels off into a roughly foot-long end that widens out to a size to accommodate a surface upon which Glyde’s shoulder can rest when aiming. The hilt, or rather handle of the Keyblade is colored a gray-silver, and extends part way along the Key’s barrel, upon which it wraps around the bottom end. The barrel itself comprises the remaining length of the weapon. A black, cylindrical formation, it extends outward, tapering off into a more concise diameter at the end. The tooth of this Keyblade rests upon the topside of the barrel, covering a length of approximately six inches, and forms the weapon’s sight.
    • Soldier’s Heart; Following his ordaining into the ranks of the Keyblade Knights, Glyde received the first of his upgrades to the Marksman line of Keyblades. The basic form of the Keyblade is referred to by Glyde as The Hunter. An upgraded version, Glyde’s preferred “Soldier’s Heart” Keyblade, adorns the bottom end of the Keyblade with a bayonet, offset three inches from the end of the barrel and spanning approximately another foot out from the end of the barrel. This bayonet bears a sharpened edge on its bottom side, as well as a fine point, allowing it to be used for both thrusting and cutting techniques.
    • Sniper’s Eye; the third, and hereto final, incarnation of Glyde’s Keyblade takes the base work of Hunter’s Arm. Removing the bayonet of Soldier’s Heart, Sniper’s Eye is an elongated version of its brothers, measuring up to five feet in length. An additional handle is formed a short distance out from the main stock. This version of Marksman also bears the unique trait of a non-descript shot, which is completely silent.
    Powers & Abilities

    Traits

Physical Condition; Glyde spent four years training under the efficiently ruthless physical conditioning of the Keyblade Academy. A purely military style of performance training, Glyde was, in a short time, molded into an example of a physical prime beyond that of even the most hardened Olympian athlete. His strength, speed, dexterity, endurance and durability are far above those of the believed peak human condition.

Magical Prowess; the depth and potency of Glyde’s magical power was once remarked as being one of the most astounding in his Realm. Bearing a deep reserve of energy from which to draw upon for spellcasting and the like, he is able to cast spells over great lengths of time without risking running dry.

    Skills

Combat Aptitude; Stemming from his years of education at the Keyblade Academy, Glyde is versed in a variety of combat techniques involving both magical application and use of martial arts. Though he prefers to deal with combatants from a distance and is most proficient in his use of magical techniques, he is knowledgeable in the use of melee practices, particularly bearing the proclivity towards the use of striking movements. .

Survivalist; perhaps not the best in this suit, Glyde is, nonetheless, an able survivor, able to fend for himself in and adapt to nearly any environment he finds himself stuck in.

    Magic

Elemental Standards;through four years worth of formal training and several more of intensive development through practice and actual combat, Glyde has effectively mastered the use of the standard Elemental Spells deemed necessary for wielders of the Keyblade. These are spells that enable the spellcaster to distort and manipulate the physical realms through the controlled bending of matter and even the fabric of space itself. He has attained capacity in the Elemental Arts in the use of Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Aero, Reflect, Magnet and Gravity and Zero-Gravity to the extent of holding a Third-Tier Marking in those magics. Additionally, he has attained the Stop Spell to the Second-Tier Marking, and learned the use of “Holy.”

Elemental Variations; Glyde is not limited, persay, to any single manifestation of the Elemental Arts, proving capable of casting their spells in alternative manners.

Healing Spells; Glyde never devoted much of his time to Healing Spells, and thus, has only developed them to the point of their First-Tier, utilizing Cure and Esuna, though he rarely uses either in battle due to their inherent defensive openings.

Multicasting; Glyde is proficient in the casting of multiple spells at a single time. Under this ability, Glyde is enabled with the knack for rapidly firing off spells in succession.

Spell Circles; during his time wandering the Multiverse with his traveling partner, Malisa Jals, Glyde was a quick study in picking up a few of her tricks. The most notable and frequently used of these tricks were the Spell Circles. Operating as a sort of runic application of magic, these techniques allow magical spells and effects to be latently stored and formed within a diameter space of up to six feet. The magical essence is set in a repressed form, making it impossible for the naked eye to detect and extremely difficult for sensory abilities to recognize for what they are. Any Spell Circle can be set to trigger on Glyde’s command, or upon the entry of a foreign object into its space.
    • Spacetime Shift - a spell circle primarily used for travel, Versal Shift opens a portal through space and time, allowing the user to instantaneously transport themselves to another location. It can be used for both short and long distance travel, as well as traversing between realms and the expansive Kingdom Hearts Multiverse. The circle isn't limited to the transportation of people either; objects can be sent and attacks mounted through these portals.
    • Trip Spell- the Trip Spell Circles utilize Glyde's other magical spellwork as their basis. In casting a Trip Spell, Glyde embeds the power of one or multiple spells, elemental or otherwise, into a Spell Circle. When triggered, the embedded spell is released instantaneously, in the hopes of catching opponents off guard.
    • Shining Sarcophagus; utilizing the magics of Reflect and Holy as its basis, The Sarcophagus Spell Circle casts a solid light-magic construct around its target, compressing at the discretion of the caster.
    • Persistent Shield; an alternative defensive spell to that offered by the Reflect Arts, the Shield Circle, rather than providing an instantaneous, second’s worth of defense, instead provides a lasting barrier between the caster and their assailants, only dispersing when it has been dismissed or broken down by a significant onslaught. As opposed to reflecting attacks away, the barrier simply absorbs the impacts. As a drawback to the defensive capabilities of the Spell Circle, no attacks can be made from within the barrier.
    • Blast Surge; a single Spell Circle cast that releases a stream of energy.
    • Multi Surge; Multiple Blast Surges cast simultaneously, and usually in an intricate or enveloping pattern. The streams are frequently smaller than a single Blast Surge.

    Other Abilities

Scan; Glyde is proficient in the use of a sixth sense of sorts that allows him the ability to detect and measure the power of other beings. Using this ability, he is able to approximate the locations of powerful beings, though he is limited in this in that he cannot readily detect power generated from beyond whatever world he is on.
Glide; by exerting magical power as controlled kinetic energy, Glyde can achieve a temporary “flight-like” state,

    Keyblade Abilities

Firearm; true to its name and form, Glyde’s Keyblade is used in a manner comparable to any gun. Without chamber or trigger, its firing mechanism Glyde’s sheer will; with no bullets to speak of, its ammunition is sourced as pure, translucent magic stemming directly from the power of the Keyblade itself. Though its actual reserve of energy at a given time is hereto unknown, it is attested that the Keyblade can run dry after extensive periods of use, and comes to the need of recharge after the launching of significantly powerful shots have been fired. Its typical shots are composed of a neutral, non-elemental form of magic, released from the end of the Marksman’s barrel at high velocity.Glyde has, however, developed several different shot types to expand upon the usefulness of his weapon.
    • Buster; A single, high-powered shot achieved by charging the Keyblade’s power steadily within the barrel before firing. The release of energy releases as a significantly larger and denser concentration. After use of a Buster shot, Marksman must recharge for an equivalent amount of time that it took to charge the shot.
    • Gatling; a volley consisting of a multitude of shots released in rapid succession. The individual shots are less powerful than the typical release, but can cover greater ground in less time.
    • Splitter; Multiple shots fired from the Keyblade in a single instant that travel along different paths.
    • Tracker; a shot infused with the use of Glyde’s Scanning abilities. These shots can home in on a target so long as Glyde has locked onto their power, and they remain within the same space-time plane.
    • Elemental; at any instant, Glyde can infuse any manner of fire from Marksman with the power of an Elemental magic.
    • Shot Infusion; Glyde is not limited to utilizing a single type of shot at once. He has grown somewhat adept at infusing different manners of fire simultaneously, being able to infuse up to three types at a time.
    Transformation

Assassin Drive; a form created and developed by Glyde himself, Assassin Drive is unlike most other transformations in that it does not necessarily boost his sheer might, and is not about overpowering his enemies. Instead, the form focuses on elements of stealth, mobility, and keeping his enemies at as much of a distance as possible. The form grants Glyde a near-complete stealth veil, enabling him to briefly evade detection; a rendering of his being as invisible to the senses. The form also grants him the additional use of the spell “Warp,” which permits the instantaneous movement from one location to another. (Form only lasts four rounds of posting).
