Crimson Gaurdian - Final Fantasy VII

I'm glad, I'm working on 2 new stories right now and should have the first chapter of 1 of them posted over the weekend.

 

Chapter 17 - The Unknown Pain:

Genesis banged his fist on the ground in anger, how could he had let them capture Weiss? He wondered. His fit of anger was interrupted by the sudden loud cry of Minerva. She was screaming in pain, her screams made Genesis rush to her room. While he runned to her room, he noticed all the S-monsters were gone. Upon arrrival he was shocked to see Minerva crying and screaming, blood was pouring from her arms and legs for some unknown reason. Genesis held her in his arms, "What's wrong? Please tell me what's wrong?" He begged in a desperate tone. Minerva held onto Genesis, "Someone's will is hurting me....ahhh....help me, make the pain stop."

Genesis had tears in his eyes, "How....How do I make the pain stop?" He asked desperatly. Suddenly Minerva screamed louder and passed out. Genesis felt for a pulse, thank god she was still alive. He cleaned the blood from her body, he then removed her clothes, but he tried not to look at her naked body, it was rude of a man to do so to a lady. He cleaned her body, her skin was so smooth and warm. Then he put her in new clothes, a white shirt with blue jeans. Cloud and the others walked into the room and said, "We heard screaming, what's wrong?" They asked.

Genesis looked at them and replied, "Minerva was being harmed by the unknown will. Her body was so bloody and pale, those monsters are going to pay for this. We have to find out who's will is hurting her." Cloud looked around and said, "Where is Weiss?" Genesis answered, "He was kidnapped by Loz and Yazoo, we have to go save him." Reeve smiled and said, "No problem, I placed a tracking device on Weiss so finding him should be easy." Reeve pulled from his pocket a locator, "According to this, Weiss is at the northern forest." Genesis nodded and said, "Then let's go, if we find Weiss we'll find Yazoo and Loz, if we find them than we can end this." Genesis and the others walked toward the airship, their next destination was the northern forest.

They messed with Minerva and now Genesis is pissed, I would be scared if I was Loz and Yazoo. And I think it's obvious now that Genesis is deeply in love with the Minerva. But can a goddess love him?

 

Chapter 18 - The Pirates

Cid was flying over the ocean, they were close to the nothern continent. Genesis was walking into the engine room to collect his thoughts. When he entered the engine room though he was shocked to see Minerva standing there, "M...Minerva, what are you doing here?" Genesis asked. Minerva sighed and replied, "You forget that i'm a goddess and I have a right to find out who is causing all this trouble." Genesis shook his head and said, "But you could get hurt and I don't want to see you hurt." Minerva jerked and said, "Your worried about me?" Genesis blushed and said, "Of course......" Suddenly the ship shook. Cid announced over the innercom, "We're being attacked, hold your horses."

Cloud ran into the bridge and looked at Cid, "Who is attacking us?" Cloud asked. Cid smirked and said, "Pirates, not the friendly type either." Genesis looked at Minerva and said, "Stay here." He ran into the bridge and said, "We need to fire back at them." Cid shook his head and said, "Can't, that last attack took out the missiles." Then the ship shook again. Cid fell over but quickly stood back up, "And that one took out the engines, brace for impact." Cid said. The ship crashed into the water and the heros hit there heads and fell unconsious.

Hours Later:

Genesis awoke in a cold room, he noticed he was tied up, "W..what happened?" he said. Cloud was also awake and tied up, "We got captured, thats what happened." Then the captain walked in and said, "Wake up ya lilly livered saps." The heros all awoke and looked at the captain. The captain then asked, "Who be captain of that flying vessel?" Cid spoke up, "I am ya cowardly bastard." The captain spit in Cid's face and said, "Well now, don't expect to get yer ship back. Cause that little beauty will sell for millions of gil on the black market." The captain walked out laughing. Cid banged his fist on the ground, "Damn that son of a bitch. We have got to get out of here and save my baby."

So pirates have kidnapped our heros and plan to sell Cid's airship. Can they escape and get the airship? And what about Weiss?

Chapter 19 - The Pirates Part 2:

Genesis sighed and used a fire spell to burn the rope they held his hands in bondage. The fire burned his wrist however. He used his sword to free the others from the ropes. Minerva walked over to him and kissed his wrist, causing them to heal. Genesis nodded and said, "Thank you." The group busted out of the hold and started whooping some pirate ass. They used the barrels to bust through the doors, trying to make it on deck. Genesis was actually enjoying himself, he was laughing and smiling. It was like he was a SOILDER 1st class again. Minerva smiled, she was glad Genesis was happy again.

Genesis opened a door but was knocked to the side as soon as he opened it. The others saw a large pirate robot with a large sword come out of the door. Genesis stood up and laughed, "No man, nor robot is a match for SOILDER 1st class Genesis."

Genesis laughed when he saw the robot fall in destruction. Minerva sighed and said, "Don't let it go to your head Mr. SOILDER 1st class." Genesis just laughed.

The group headed up on deck where the captain was waiting for them. The captain laughed, "I did'nt think you would be this much trouble. Oh well, time to die. The captain fired a shot from his pistol that hit Cid in the chest. Genesis looked shocked, "No....." He muttered. Genesis looked at the captain and cut through him with his rapier. The captain coughed up some blood and fell to the ground. Genesis looked at Minerva and said, "Is he?" She answered him, "I'm afraid....he's dead."

Cid was killed!!! See how our heros take this loss in the next chapter.

 

Chapter 20 - The First Loss:

Cid's body had grown pale and cold. Cloud straightened his body before it went stiff and they carried him into the air ship that he loved so much. They placed his body in a capsule as to preserve it. Genesis looked at Minerva and said, "Can't you do anything to save him?" Minerva shook her head and said, "No, once someone's soul has become one with the life stream it is out of my hands." Genesis sighed and said, "Then a proper funeral will be neccasary once we have rescued Weiss." Cloud nodded and said, "Cidd would'nt want us to cry, he would want us to save Weiss. So let's get going."

Rosso took control of the ship and flew it toward the hidden base where Loz and Yazoo were located. They would be there in about 20 minutes. Yuffie was now moppy and sad, which is the polar opposite of what she usually is. Vincent walked over to her and said, "It was unexpected, But ya know what? I think Cid is probably not sad about dying, I think he's probably pissed he was killed by a cowardly pirate." That made Yuffie laugh, "Thanks, Vincent."

Cloud on the other hand was calm yet he was obviously sad about what happened to Cid. Tifa walked over to him and said, "I know your not going to cry but atleast let yourself cry inside, o'k?" Cloud nodded and whispered, "Yeah." Then he walked off into the ship. Tifa could tell Cloud was thinking about more than Cid, but what was he thinking about? Just then Rosso announced over the inner-com, "We're about to land at Yazoo and Loz's secret base. Prepare for war."

Even though a friend has died, the heros must prepare for the biggest battle yet. The next chapter will be long, exciting and the best one yet!!!!!!
