    I've only read up to page 3 so far...but I had to comment:

    I can speak from experience that this isn't exactly true. Most people date for more than 2 years (myself included), and some even wind up getting married after say 8 years of dating.

    This is usually because either men are afraid of commitment (haw haw), they're not so trusting of each other, or they are waiting for a better situation (ie. finish school, move somewhere else, etc).

    It's not out of boredom that people don't stay together more than 2 years...quite frankly, boredom is the reason 14 year olds don't stay together more than 2 years :p


    I challenge you to do the following:

    Save this webpage, and look at it again when you're 20, to see the comments you're making. If you still agree with them, then I'm a monkey's butt (which is actually kind of possible! 0: ).
