Chronicles of Narnia: The New Leaders

"......"-Zarath
Zarath ran away.....far far away from the rest of them.......He ran until everything became a blur. He tried to stop, but couldnt. He just kept running.......
On Earth, he would run away from his problems. He would hide, like during the funeral. He thought it woud be different on Narnia, that people would listen to him.....but this wasn't the case. No one believed him. He couldnt rely on anyone. He had to do everything himself.....

 

Zaraths body wouldnt stop. Zarath continued to struggle until he couldnt take it. He yelled, and what seemed like mere anger to him sounded like a roar to those around him. His roar shook the foundations of the world, and he vanished....
Everything went white. He was blinded by what he saw.
Then he saw something in the light.....
....a lampost.
He walked up to it.
Then he heard a voice....

 

He was like in a daze. Things were moving around him, beings of light, but he couldnt sense them nor feel them. All he saw was a lampost....and he kept hearing that same voice saying:
your brother
he's your brother

Zarath reached for the lampost, and as he touched it, the world around him of white faded.....it became grey and dark. He saw war and famine, disease conquering a world he didnt know of.....or so he thought. He looked behind him, and saw the one they call the "great Lord"......
"...you.....your the-"-Zarath
"The Great Lord, yes, but call me Roen....for that is my mortal name."-said Roen/The Great Lord, sitting down on what seemed to be an invisible chair.
"You......your Drek's...Fa...ther......
Why do you two hate eachother so much!!"-Zarath
"Well....because he's a snake. He's gathered up a bunch of lackey's and has foud the ultimant darkness he wishes to poise against me in a battle for the Tree. But thats not important Zarath. Whats important is you, and the other two..."-Roen
"The other two?"-Zarath
"You know, we knew because of how easily you took down Revita that you were one, but I had no idea that when I brought all three of you into the Earth world that you'd end up with family ties!!! You were all orphans for pete sake!! Haha!!"-Roen
"Wait.....do you mean......my cousins?"-Zarath
"Well....yes....."-Roen
"So.....none of us were from Earth......none of us have a real....family?"-Zarath
"Well......their mothers and fathers were killed my Drek.....but yours is still alive somewhere......in Narnia."-Roen
"...no......NO......I didnt feel anything when I got there!!!"-said Zarath as he drew his blade and swung at Roen. Roen dodged it with some invisible shield, but then summoned a dark blade out of thin air and swung at Zarath. Zarath blocked it, as they began a duel in the room expansed in the air of a dieing world. When they got locked together in a sword hold, Roen said:
"Do you see that? Do you see whats below you? All the worlds will crumble like that. Narnia is next, this is unpreventable....."-Roen
"What!? No.....NO!!!"-Zarath, throwing Roen out of the hold.
"I wont let that happen!!"-Zarath
"Dont worry boy.......it has already begun...."-said Roen, dissappearing into darkness.
Zarath felt warmth, but he paniced. He felt the light coming back, but for some reason he didnt want it to. His body couldnt take it.......he needed to escape......
In the blur of the unknown expanse he was in, as things started to fade he saw the lampost. He reached out for it, and even though his eyes finally shut, his body still moved. He kept going, reaching out for it. Once he touched it.....he saw himself in a wood. There were trees, and there was a river. Around the river were little ponds, and at the very top of the river there was a Tree surrounded by water. What Zarath saw was beautiful....but the voice inside of him came back again......he heard it.....for a brief moment.....
This river is the waters of chaos
it was engulfed more worlds
and will continue to get bigger
You can see the Tree is completely surrounded.
It is because you must save it from this chaos.......you need to find a way to stop all of them.....
"Who?"-Zarath
.....the Khaos.....

 

Zarath fell asleep in the forest. He was down for some time.
When he woke up.....he saw Drek leaning against a tree near one of the world pools.
"..D...Drek?"-Zarath
"Oh, hey there Zarath...."-Drek
"Drek....were are we?"-Zarath
"This is it....this is the Tree of Life I am trying to protect from my Father......"-Drek
"Oh......"-Zarath
"Tell me Zarath....do you have a brother?"-Drek
"I...well....I dont think so?"-Zarath
"Okay.....good..."-Drek
"Why?"-Zarath
"No peticular reason....Its just I met someone once who said he was your brother...."-Drek
"What?!?! Who was it?"-Zarath
Drek jumped into the pool he was looking in to.
"Drek!!!!"-Zarath

 

Zarath was pondering what world to enter now.....
He wanted to explore the other worlds, but he wasnt sure he could go back to this forest if he did.
"hmmm......even if I'm stuck, Drek'll get me out......"- he thought.
He saw a world nearing the expanding River of Chaos. He thought he'd go there, because it would die soon....so maybe he could save some people.
The voice in his mind said:
This is the world known as Reaht (pronounced REE-AT)
Its on the verge of destruction. There are no humans here. The races on this world are dwarves, orcs, and the niburo.
"What are the Niburo?"-Zarath
The voice said: they are a tall race of grey colored beings. They are one of the dominant races in many worlds. There is currently a war going on between the dwarves and the orcs. The Niburo are trying to make peace between them both, but it isnt going smoothly. (The oice dissappeared)

Zarath jumped in....

 

A werewolf slowly kreeped out from behind some bushes. It was Drek. He transformed back to a human.
"Sussy.....you called for me?"-Drek
Zarath was falling, but slowly. He finally touched the ground, and saw the world colapsing. The world was literally falling apart. HE saw the dwarves and the Orcs fighting. It was a brutal battle. He saw the Dwarves losing, and then he saw the Niburo come as reinforcements for the dwarves against the Orcs. The Orcs had over a thousand soldiers left, and the dwarves and Niburo combined were at about 700. He looked down at the ground and saw skulls, little children lieing dead, and Niburo markings on different shaped skulls.
The voice in Zarath's head was in shock, and rage, and told Zarath to go kill the Orcs. Zarath just couldnt take the sight of all the death and destruction, he fell in shock and sadness.
"You need to get up!! go and direct your anger at the Orcs!!"-The Voice
"...I.....I......I will."-Zarath
Zarath drew his blade, used it to push himself up, and then ran towards the Orc army. He jumped 50 feet in the air, and 100 feet far, over a falling shelf of the world, and landed in the middle of the Orc army lines. He began to slice the enemy through, and crush the Orcs with his blade. Whenever they would catch him off guard, he put a hand up and a force would blow them away. He was destroying teh Orcs from the inside out, until he released his spirit within. He heard the voice shout in his head, and a great pulse came out of him, killing many of the Orc army. He saw the rest retreating, and the Niburo and the dwarves standing, looking at him in shock.
When he came down to them, he said:
"Your world is dieing. call your Khaos, and ask him to send you to another world. Its your only chance for survival."-Zarath
"But how? what is his name?"-Niburo Chief
".....Kvar. The Khaos of Lightning. Ask him to send you to another world. Now go!"-said Zarath as he flew up. He flew through the air, and then hit something....another kind of force. He reappeared in the forest, as he saw the River overtaking Reaht.
"I hope they got out alright..."-Zarath
"They did."-said the Voice.
"Now...voice.....we need to get back to Narnia....."-Zarath

 

".....theres a misunderstanding here Sussy. I dont know why Aslan is evil.....I've only been told from secret sources that he's changed, and has a connection to my Father....my enemy, the Great Lord. So maybe he isnt! Maybe my sources were wrong! But the sense of an open mind is much more clear than a 2" by 2" cube that your stuck in. As far Zarath, I dont know. Whether he realizes it or not, he's surpassed a normal Khaoses' power. His spiritua is undetectable, and I've lost him. I last saw him near the Tree of Life. I think he jumped into another world.....but he should return here soon....."-Drek

 

"......I mean that you do not have an open mind to the truth. You persistantly believe that Aslan is good, because your "heart told you so". I dont WANT to believe that he is evil, I want him to be good.......but for some reason he isnt talking to the other Khaos, and "supposedly" he's been talking to my father. I didnt want to say this.....but it was Peter that told me these things......

As far as my Father....well, have you met him? I believe Zarath has. Did Zarath say anything about him?"-Drek

 

"Oh yeah, sure, if only I KNEW!!!!
I'M TRYING to find him....he'll go back to your kind soon enough....
And as for the lampost.....ask Aslan what it really means......."-said Drek as he became a werewolf again.
"I'll be at the Stone Table if you need me."-Drek, as he lept up and over into the woods.

Zarath jumped into a pool he couldnt see through. It made him fall into a world of light. There was nothing in the world...just him. He came to a mirror, and as he drew near it, his reflection seemed to change. There was a man inside the mirror he didnt recognize......but the man moved as he moved.....
"Who?-"-Zarath
"I am Rain, the voice thats been in your mind. I am the thrid Khaos that is still alive on this side of the River of Chaos. The other two are Drek and Aslan....."-Rain'
"Oh......so, why are you in my mind?"-Zarath
"Because, its my specialty....and its keeping me alive. I wanted to see what the new Guardian would be like before my world falls......and I with it....."-Rain
"I wont let that happen. You know that Rain."-Zarath
"Well.....I believed once the same thing....but now I've seen that the death of my world is inevitable. I will aid you in anyway I can until then though. I will help you defeat Roen and his minions."-Rain
"His minions?"-Zarath
"He's convinced many of the Khaos on the otherside that he'd save their worlds if they help him. He'll send them after you soon. I'll help you defeat them."-Rain said, walking out of the mirror and holding his hand out to Zarath.
"Agreed?"-Rain
"Yeah."said Zarath, shaking his hand.
The light flooded their sight, and they reappeared in the woods of the Tree of Life.
