~Broken Dreams~

Lily looked at his hands and quickly jerked her hand away. She didnt feel so comfortable with people being close to her. "Thanks but i'm fine....really". She started to ravel the string around her finger again but this time she watched Barry singing to himself in the corner. She shook her head and laughed at him. He was always randomly singing, he was good at it but he just didn't know when to shut it.

 

Will looked up and shrugged. "Don't know. Your the one that talks to him most man. I haven't seen him in about a week." He said as he turned to his laptop. He started to play through some of the riffs and licks he had written on the sound player. "Hey Max, do these sound alright? I think they sound kinda sloppy..." He said, turning it up so he could hear it.

 

Lily never realised that Raven hasn’t been around a lot lately….actually she couldn’t really remember the lat time she saw him. But she knew he would be okay, a guy like raven can take care of himself. Considering lily’s been up all night she was exhausted. She rolled up her baggy jacket as a pillow set it out on the sofa and fell asleep straight away.
She didn’t usually sleep because she had terrible nightmares that she never recovers from. She sees daemonic images of death, and images of her past. She’d usually wake up breaking a sweat and she wouldn’t go sleep again. But she felt okay with falling asleep, knowing that she has her friends that’ll always be there for her.

 

"Mwaaaaaah....". Raven yawned as he stretched out loudly. He slowly sat on the side of the bed with his head down, still yawning. He took his watch from the desk beside him, and looked at it.
"Crap...", he whispered. He jumped off the bed and ran out the room, grabbing his jacket and some clothes. He dashed into the hallway of his dorm, and ran into the bathroom.
It's a good thing he had no classes that day, due some weird teacher's trip thing.
Minutes later, the door bashed open again. Raven ran out with his toothbrush still in his mouth, and putting he jacket on. He grabbed his guitar and ran out the door.
"Hey Raven! Where do you think your going?!" one of his dorm mates called out the window.
"What do you think, man? I don't have classes today!" he shouted while getting on his cycle.
"Lucky ass..."
Raven spit out the remaining toothpaste, and threw the toothbrush away.
"Why don't i have a motor yet?" He thought to himself, as he continued to cycle to the usual spot as hell.

 

Will turned back to his laptop and started tapping keys. He started looking over the nearby concerts coming soon. "Hmmm... Linkin Park... Avenged Sevenfold... wait, the Apollo's gonna be in town?" He said loudly. "It's in a week..." He read, looking at the cost. "I could get 50 bucks..."

 

Lily was woken up by Will's booming voice. She narrowed her eyes at him for spoiling her peaceful sleep but she decided to get up anyway. She rubbed her eyes and streached, almost hitting Will on the back of the head. As much as she wanted to kill him, she enjoyed his company more. Her watched beeped again which told her that she had been sleeping for 2 hours and 10 mins. and strangley, she hadn't dreamed at all today so that made her feel a whole lot better. "what was that Will?" she asked while tryning to yawn as loudly as possible.

 

Will looked over and grinned sheepishly. "Sorry for waking you Lily... The apollo is coming to town in a week. You remember, that large concert?" He asked her, turning his laptop to show her the webpage of upcoming concerts. He really wanted to go last year but tickets were outrageous. "And tickets are only 50 bucks too." He said

 

Lily sat up and squinted at the screen, she managed to read the writing on it. ‘Ooohh right! Awesome….’ She yawned again and looked at Will before continuing, ‘you gonna go then?’. Lily started to feel cold so she looked down and started unfolding her jacket before swinging her arms into the big, baggy sleeves. Again just missing Wills head….’sorry’ she whispered. She never liked talking loudly, she would feel really stupid if she ever shouted anything out to anyone. The only thing her shouting was good for was arguing with people before knocking ‘em to the floor.

 

Will smiled and said. "It's ine. Here, if your cold take this." He said, handing her his thick hoodie. He knew she was cold and he rarely got cold. He then went back to the screen and looked it over. "Wait... it's in town square! The concert is in town square!" He said. "This is gonna be amazing!"

 

'Thanks' She said while slowly sliding her arms into the hoddie Will gave her. It still felt warm and smelt slightly of pizza. She put the hood up to hide herself giggling. She then stared into the screen, she couldnt seem to figure out why Will was so excited but in a way, she was too. 'We should tell the guys when they all get here!' She suggested. 'Were the hell are they anyway?'.

 

Will smiled. "Well everyone but Raven's here... he's probably already on his way here..." He said, flipping through some music on his computer. "I need to put some new music on here..." He muttered as he looked through the list. He liked all the bands he had but it was mostly stuff he could play along to.

 

Lily sighed then curled herself into a ball on the sofa. She buried her head in Wills hoodie and closed her eyes. She didnt want to go to sleep but then again she didnt want to stay awake. She started to fiddle around with the laces on her converse when she said something shes never asked anyone before 'Why do you guys care about me?'. She didnt think before blurting it out so she wasnt going to be surprised if she gets a stupid response. She started to reconsider on becoming a mute or a one-worder again, then she will never have to worry about asking stupid questions ever again. Lily just closed her eyes again and hoped noone heard that.

 

Barry broke free from his little world, "Oh my GOD. I almost forgot!" Barry smiled, jumping around and getting all jittery.

"I bought tickets to a really cool club! Unfortunately it has a bar, so we have to be 21 or over- so my friend Rodriguez got me some! I was supposed to pick them up at around six!" Barry said, looking at his watch, it was already 4:00!

"So what do you guys think???" Barry smiled.

 

Will smiled. "How about this? We fake being a band and use that to get in. Since about 4 of us are under 21. How does that sound? We all play the instruments to form a band and one gig couldn't be so bad." He suggested. He liked the idea of performing. He didn't perform much and he loved the rush of being onstage.

 

Lily scrunched her eyeborws and looked at Barry with beady eyes. She hated the idea,but she was still curious to learn more about it. "But what if we get caught?" She whisepered, She never did like big crowds or stages, if someone else in on them then thats fine but otherwise it just feels wierd. "and i dont think i can pass off for a 21 year old." She said it so it could ward them off the stupid subject. 'And me in a band?' She thought to herself. 'These guys maybe, but not me. They'll be better off without me.'

 

"Well, I never said anything about playing as a band," Barry said looking at Will, "That might be dangerous, but think about it- everyday students go into a local club and flash their fake I.D.s! We would just be one of them! If we stick together, don't do anything stupid, I think we could blend in and actually have some fun."

Barry then looked over to Lily, "To those of you who like loud noises and want to have fun." He smiled.

"If I have to go on my own... well... I will..." Barry said mumbling to himself and kicking some dust around on the floor.

 

Edward got up around 4 this morning. He never really was much of a morning person, but he remembered that he had planned to meet the others at the usual spot. Of course, he didn't remember until nearly 3:30.

"Damn, and this was just getting good." He was reading the latest release of Vampire Knight, his favourite manga, when he suddenly remembered his plans with the others.
He put away the book, grabbed his bag, which included a change of clothes, his lucky drumsticks, and his insane load of eyeliner. He pulled his hair back, and bolted out the door.

He hurried to his old corvette, and rushed out to the usual spot.

He got there around 4, and the others were already there and talking. He walked up, in his usual cocky stride, his bag over his shoulder.

"Hey guys. Sorry I'm so late, I got stuck in another book again, and I don't have classes today."

He looked over at Lily. "Are you actually wearing that hoodie in this weather?" He said with a smile.

 

Lily saw Ed rush through the door with his messed up hair and his punked-up eyeliner. She laughed then grinned 'Nice to see you to Ed, and yeah i feel cold.' She talked while pulling up her hood. She didnt really know why she felt cold all the time. 'The guys must think its a girl thing' she thought to herself. then she looked up again and asked 'So wher'ya been all this time?'.

 

Ed sighed, then shrugged. "Lost in a book, like always. And Vampire Knight, as usual." He also noticed that the hoodie she was wearing used to be Will's. He felt a slight pang of jealousy, but ignored it, just like he always did.
"You know, you really should think about getting a trenchcoat. Those things'll keep you a lot warmer. And they make good blankets."
