Avatar Book 4

Miku looked to Katara. They were both in the same position. Miku closed her eyes and calmed her body.

"It's a relaxing pose isn't it." Katara said. Miku nodded. She opened her eyes back up and waited for the rest of the instructions.

 

"Damn!" Aidan silently cursed to himself.He couldnt tell him where the traitorous girl was,but also couldnt find a way to get Iroh out of his grip.He knew that Iroh could get himself out,but there were still many unknowns with this young warrior.He was powerful,fast,and ruthless.He needed to find a way,until he found it."Alright,I;ll tell you where she is."He said,putting his plan in action as most of the flames on his sword disappeared.

 

Will's eyes were closed, feeling the energies. Mika was powerful, but she didn't realize how powerful. She had potential deep within her, like he himself did. Katara had mastered her element, yet she still had much potential. Sokka had potential, yet it was very deep. It would be hard to reach for him.

Sokka concentrated, ready for Aang's instruction. He felt he was ready, but felt he would have to work hard for it.

Aang looked up at his students.
"Now, what you want to do now, is to to push your hands forward and twist your feet, 90 degrees, making an air push"
He made an air push towards an icicle, causing it to fall over a a steep part of a hill.

Meanwhile, back at the Fire Nation Palace, Kaison remained having his sword up at Iroh's neck.
"TELL ME NOW!, WHERE IS SHE!" he shouted in anger.

 

Aidan didnt answer,using Kaison's yelling as a distraction to send a long stream of flame from the tip of his sword to the floor,which then headed towards Kaison and went up his leg,going up his body and burning him,causing him to let go of Iroh to put it out.Aidan grabbed Iroh and ran down to a hallway,opening a secret passage so they could get away from the insanly stronge warrior.

 

Will did as Aang said, feeling the power flowing through him. When he did it he was almost perfect. Sokka tried but messed up a few times. His main mistake was twisting the feet.

 

Aang nodded at Will.
"You did great, Will, you just need to push your hands out a little more, that's all"
Aang turned to Sokka, thinking that he would do a terrible mistake or push Aang away, accidentally but Sokka did not do that, he was okay. He was able to push the air, by a few centimetres. He noticed that his feet weren't placed right, and they were only half way twisted.
"Twist your feet more, Sokka"

 

Sokka nodded. "Ok Aang, I'll try." He said, calming his mind. He tried again, moving has hands outwards and twisting his feet. He did almost as good as Will did last time. Will did as Aang said, concentrating. He tried to focus on the element, like he did with waterbending. When he did it he was about 10% short of Aang's ability.

 

Aang was blown away (see the pun?). He looked at Will with astonishment.
"Will, you will be a great airbender if you can do this so quickly"
He turned to Sokka.
"Well done to you too, Sokka. Now guys try again"
Aang was waiting for Miku to try. She was a bit shy, from Aang's observations.

Will tried a two handed and did it perfectly, knocking icicles from the roof of a house. Will liked airbending but he preferred waterbending. It felt more natural to him. Sokka tried again and was getting better each time.

 

Kaison swore under his breath, after seeing them escape but then he stopped. He thought of a great plan. He walked out of the palace, leaving it with rebellion soldiers, that were surely going to win. He saw firenation guards of the firelord join the rebellion and Kaison laughed.
"Very good, now, to find Azula's location. I will need a ship"
A soldier came upto him.
"Will you need reinforcements?"
"Yes I will, about thirty, not much"
The soldier nodded and ralied a crew of thirty.
"Let's go" Kaison said, darkly. He began to walk through the village, burning up some buildings, just for fun and the soldiers behind him, sniggered. Kaison looked at the shore and looked at the metal firenation ship, he owned.
"We shall set off"

 

Will looked at Aang. Will knew he wanted to travel with Aang if he was needed but Aang already had Katara and Sokka. Sokka continued to try the airbending move, getting better each time. Finally he was close to Will's skill when he first tried. Sokka decided to try the double handed blast Will did but failed.

 

Miku did it exactly like Aang and blew a few icicles down, and created tiny snowballs in the snow. She opened her eyes.

"Did I do it right?" Miku asked. She looked around at everybody. She looked over to Aang again. She hope she did it right, if not she'd pratice it a 1000 more times till she get it right.

 

"You did, nice job, Miku!"
An ear-splitting scream came from the village and people cried out "Rebellioners, rebellioners!!!"
Aang looked at the others.
"Come on, let's protect the villagers"
He sprinted towards tbe village.

 

Aidan and Iroh reached a medium sized room in the passage.There were also some other fire nation warriors there,many badly wounded and being healed.One,who had a rather nasty gash running across his chest,turned his head and gave a quick,but painful salute."Sir!"He said weakly."Captain,report."Aidan said approaching the man."Sir,the battle has turned against us.We had to retreat.Some of our own turned against us!" What!"Aidan said,not being able to believe that their own soldiers would turn against them."How many are left."He asked gravely."We are all that is left sir.The others have turned or been captured."He said.There were only twenty-two warriors left,and only six were battle ready.Aidan stood there,a grave expression on his face,not sure what to do.There country was falling,and who knew if even this passage was safe with their own turning traitor.He could not think of any hope to give his soldiers.

 

"Don't worry my friend." said Iroh. He knew that this is gravely great disadventege to him. But he said, "Even if we lost in numbers, we have me and you. So it won't be bad. Beside, think positively, That means we have more fun to fight right?"

 

Aidan smiled alittle at that.While it was morbid humor,it was better then nothing.Hope started to come to all the warriors,and then it hit him."Iroh-san!You know the avatar right?"He asked.The avatar had brought hope for generations,and had even allowed them peace,if only for a short time.Surely he could help them.especially if the resistance would go after him anyway?

 

Will drew his sword and ran after Aang, gathering ice around his fist. He met a firebender along the way and hit him in the face with the ice fist, knocking him out. "Aang, get to the docks!" He roared, slicing at two other firebenders.

 

"Well.... Some said he is in the earth kingdom. maybe Ba Sing Se would be where he is." said Iroh, he know Aang will be resistance last hope. He looked to Aidan and said, "If you want to go, I'm ready at any time. Oh, and you come too." said Iroh looking to the firebender.

 

"Alright then.Troops!"He shouted,the re3maining loyal warriors turning to him."We make way for Ba Sing Se to join the Avatar!"There were many joys and whoopes at this,and morale was soaring.If they were with the Avatar,then nothing would stop them!The resistance would be defeated and peace returned once more.They all got up,some needing to be carried due to their wounds,and made way for the next passage.They arrived at the port,luckily before the resistance,and comandered a boat,which soon set sail for Ba Sing Se.
