Another Kingdom Hearts Story III~ Children of Light and the Dark

"Well..." The demon said, getting up from the attack. "What better way to put your life in danger to bring Tom back? Honestly, Azazel could be the best chance for Tom to return."

Azazel laughed. "You wonder why your older brother is the smarter one of you two?" Azazel's body quickly started forming back. "He would know that shattering a part of me would release it. And I'm drawn to myself like a magnet. So can you guess what's gonna happen now?"

 

Azazel simply shut the portals as they opened up. "Damn I hate that family. Heh... I notice between mine and her's, I have quite a family problem."

"Well.... It's hard to explain." The demon said. "I'm not quite sure myself. I suppose alot of my actions are guided subconsciencely."

 

A bright light blinded Koen's eyes and as he opened them, he found his father standing infront of his mother.
"Niki, I'm so glad you're safe"
Shino hugged Niki but then let go of her. He was worried about her and tears were streaming down his face. He couldn't find her anywhere and the darkness was too great to find Kate and Niki.
Shino heard the name "Azazel" in the wind and he turned to his children.
"I do not want you four to fight, unless needed to, you understand" he told them with his voice sounding abrupt and harsh. He was starting to panic for their safety. He started to stroll up and down, twiddling his fingers. He didn't know what to do to keep his family safe. He'd sacrifice his life to save them from a horrible fate. Koen almost died and so did Kate. He was starting to breath heavily and sweat was trickling down his back. He didn't know what to do. He suddenly remembered the prophecy about the boy of the keyholes, back twenty years ago. He forgot about it because he thought it was nonsense but perhaps it would be the only way to keep them safe. Everybody will be safe.

 

"Possibly." The demon answered. "But I'm not gonna. Putting your life in danger is one thing. But what you want is suicide. You going to confront him is one of the stupidest things ever. Don't you know that your mother almost died fighting him?"

 

"No." The demon answered. "I'm not going to let you go and kill yourself. Why don't you find your parents? They're searching for you right now. With them, fighting Azazel wouldn't be as bad. It's still a stupid idea nonetheless, but you'll have a greater chance of survival with them by your side."

 

"Yes we do" Shino said. He was considering to sacrifice himself to weaken Azazel but he couldn't do that to Niki and his family. That would be horrible to them.....but his children deserved to live the rest of their life and he wanted them to live for as long as possible. He suddenly thought of an idea to find Kate.
Shino grabbed a chain from around his neck.
"I suddenly remembered about this...it can take us to Kate, I put a lock on Kate with this. Christopher gave me it, a week ago, when we were in Disney Castle but because of the attack on Radiant Gardens, I forgot"
Shino closed his eyes and light brightened from the chain, transporting them to Kate. They soon found themselves looking at the demon and Kate.
"KATE!!!"

 

"Hehe.... Well...." The demon started. "I.... Uh.... I'm sure all of you guys together can beat him." The demon looked around. "Oh, look at the time. As much as I hate to do this, gotta go. See ya later. Oh and Kate, tell me if Tom does come back." The demon dissapeared.

 

"Really Niki?" Azazel said, smelling the light. He flew over to Ale. "No... You're not Niki. You're her kid. And there's another kid here. I remember him. He was with Niki when we fought all those years ago. Were you two really foolish enough to come to me alone. Please tell me you're smarter than that and brought reinforcements."

"Well....." The demon said. "Part of me isn't sure why. Like I told Kate earlier. Sometimes my actions are guided subconsciencely."

 

Azazel put his hand forward as the light came towards him. It got inches away from touching him, but it suddenly shot back and exploded when it connected with Jake. He suddenly appeared behind Ale and stabbed his hand through Ale. "This stain on your soul will suffice. Now if I were you, go before my mercy runs out." Azazel teleported to another area of the dark realm.

"I don't quite think it works like that." The demon said. "I wouldn't really help. I'd get in the way. And besides. You have enough people. You don't need me."

 

"As much as I love all this credit you all are giving me, I don't know what you think I know." The demon said. "I don't know where Tom is. Heck, he might have ceased to exist. No more. Like he never existed. And as for Azazel, I don't know if he has any weakness. And you're wasting your time asking me. Your son could be dead right now because you guys are too busy talking instead of going to save him."

Azazel laughed from the attack. "Is that the best you got?!" He sent out a surge of darkness from his body, instantly making all the light dissapear. "I've seen a kitten do better than you guys are. And I haven't even tried to fight yet."

 

The demon sighed. "I can't get you straight to his room. I can get you to the old abandoned castle though. I'm sure you remember that area." The demon opened up the portal.

"Seriously?" Azazel mocked them. "Are you two trying to dance now?" He sent out a surge of dark energy that paralyzed Jake and Ale when it touched them. The surge shot out like a bubble, so there was no escape. Azazel then lifted them both up with his mind. "My turn." He slammed both of their bodies against the walls and floor. He left them floating in the air upside down.
