Shino nodded.
"It's no worries, everyone's heading over to the secret place. That's where Koen thought you were at"

A few minutes later, Koen was relieved to find Ale unscratched. He ran upto his brother and held up his hand to give a high 5.
"So what happened to Yata?" John asked.
A shiver went down Koen's back as he heard that name and he looked down to the sand. He felt weak and thought that he let everyone down.

 

"I don't know...maybe" Koen said, feeling down but as he felt Mirisa's hand in his, he smiled.
"Thankyou Mirisa....for making me feel happy, when I'm down"
Koen still had his head down.
"I fought Neox, while I was out, he was going to take over my mind but I won...he's still out there though, I can feel it...."
Koen then looked upto Mirisa with a smile.
"I got to stay positive though and I can't wait to go outb with you on a date after this is over"

 

Tom looked down at her, still in the form of the creature. "Yeah, sorry about not answering. I've just been looking around. This form.... It's amazing. So much knowledge.... So much power. I'm still me, but I don't quite know how to control it."

 

Koen nodded.
"Sorry Mirisa, I forgot you had a cold"
He looked at Ale and then looked at Alex, wondering what went wrong.
Koen turned to face the street and they started to walk down, seeing the familiar streetlamps and roads. They walked across the flower shop and the old woman, that always waved to Koen was by her window. She waved and winked as she saw he was with a girl.
Koen nodded to say hello and then moved on, walking past the oak tree. They then stopped by Mirisa's house.
"Well I guess, this is goodbye for now...." Koen murmured with sadness, knowing that this could be the last time he could see her because of all the danger that has taken place, over the past few days. Yata almost killed him and Koen was lucky to be alive. Koen hugged Mirisa and stroked her hair.
"I love you" he said to her, wanting to tell her before he left for his perilous journey.

 

Koen was sad to see Mirisa walk away. A tear rolled down his cheek, as he walked back to the beach. He may not be able to see her again because Yata and the others were so powerful. Koen walked upto the others, still shredding tears.
John came upto Koen
"What's up Koen?"
"I was just so weak, fighting Yata...how would I be able to fight the others, he's just a heartless?"

 

Koen nodded and smiled.
"OK, so what's next? Where is Kate?"
He remembered the struggles in his journey; being turned into a nobody, almost being killed by Yata and almost killing his love, Mirisa.
Koen frowned as he remembered those memories but good things have come from their adventures too. He's in love with Mirisa and she feels the same way about Koen, his relationship with his family had grown and they were living the adventure. Koen was smiling once more.

 

"Alright then." Tom smiled. "Let's see.... What do I do to move?" Then he suddenly darted off at an extremely fast pace, easily catching up to Kate. He swirved between the obsticles (sp?), not touching any of them. From the speed he was going, they were all shaking violently from his momentum.

The demon was watching Koen from his world. "Hmm.... The boy is very puzzled at what he should do now. Perhaps.... Perhaps I should help him in his path. After all, I only want to help."

 

The demon smiled. "I have no demons." He then teleported to the world Tom and Kate were on. "Let's see. If there was a way to keep them here..... I suppose the easiest way would be to tell Kate the truth about Tom's existance... Although can she handle the truth?"

Tom looked at Kate as he flew with her. "This is so amazing. If only you could see this. There's so much here with this creature. I can't believe it."

 

Shino appeared next to Niki, through a portal.
"What's going on Niki, do you know where Kate is?"

Koen entered inside the gummi ship and started the engines. He looked out to the sea and saw the sun beat down onto the ocean. It was starting to lower down, which meant the night sky was about to sprawl over the day. It bitterly reminded him of what happened between Neox and himself. What would have happened if Neox won the battle for his body? These were thoughts Koen wanted to wash away but the pictures of his friends and family suffering did not erode from his mind. They were stuck inside

 

"When you say you're not normal, I'm gonna go ahead and say you're better than normal." Tom told Kate.

"You called?" Polaris asked, appearing near them. "Is something wrong?"

The demon flew near Tom and Kate. "I wonder how they'll react to me?" He laughed to himself.

 

"I'll see what I can do." Polaris said, walking up to a large globe thing in the center of the room. He looked through the books as he set one hand on the globe. Light shined from the globe, and when it died down, it showed an open meadow. It showed Kate, Tom in his creature form, and the demon. "I don't think I've ever seen this world before."

"Huh?" Tom said, turning around and seeing the demon. "Great, just what I need. Now is a good time to learn how to attack." Tom thought to himself.

The demon chuckled a little bit. "Don't worry. I'm not here to hurt you this time. I only wanted to talk. Nothing more."
