Another Kingdom Hearts Story III~ Children of Light and the Dark

"I think the people just got up and left. I doubt anything bad happened to them." Tom said, putting his arm around her. "But don't feel bad. We didn't do anything wrong concerning this world."

 

"Sure thing." Tom picked Kate up and started heading off somewhere. He seemed to know where he was going the whole time. They wound up at the least ruined building in the entire area. "How's this?"

 

Calder closed his eyes and tried to focus on Koen's position but the darkness that was around Koen and Yata was too thick. He was starting to panic as he saw Koen in pain.

Koen suddenly blocked an attack from what strength he had left. Yata only laughed and grabbed Koen by the throat.
"Now, prepare to say goodbye to this world"
"No...please...don't-" Koen said, in agony from the immense pain, Yata gave and not wanting tos ay goodbye to his friends and family.
Yata screamed in laughter, as he stabbed through Koen's chest. He watched the boy fall down to the ground, without a sound and grinned. Yata enjoyed this, seeing the pain in his enemy's eyes and he will enjoy it even more to see his friends and family see him dead.
Yata cleared the darkness around them and looked down at Koen, lying down on the brick path. Yata was proud of himself

 

Tom looked down at Kate. He wanted to lie next to her, but he remembered what he said he wouldn't do to Niki. So instead, he sat down on a chair and started thinking about some things. Mainly why he saw a gravestone with his name on it.

 

Yata began to fade.
"Oh too bad, are you going to fall down to the ground and cry?" Yata mocked.
Yata vanished from sight and said "There's nothing you can do, not even Kingdom Hearts can heal him"
John's heart began to race. His best friend was lying on the ground, dead.
"No, this can't be happening, Koen, wake up!" he shouted in desperation.
Koen remained silent.
John taken him to the gummi ship.
"I'll come back for you, Ale..."
The gummi ship lifted upto the skies and was sent soaring up in Space. John went to the speaker phone of the gummi ship and called Niki.

 

Tom looked at Kate as she woke up. "Are you alright? You were sleeping like an angel, then you suddenly woke up. You don't look too good."

 

"Although how would we do that?" Tom asked. "We don't have a gummi ship. And I don't quite know how to get back, let alone know where we are."

 

Koen was still silent. In his imagination, he found himself in a forest, with beautiful lakes and flowers. There even was a mountain in the horizon. But as he looked into the lake, he saw his nobody counterpart, Neox in his reflection. This made Koen fall back onto the ground and Neox flew up to him.
"Now, who should take over your body? Me or you?"
Koen looked down. He was weak, powerless and he felt depressed.
"Koen, fight it come on, you can't die yet, you need to find your sister, remember."
Koen got up from the ground and faced Neox.
"No, I will not let you"

 

Tom thought as to how they got to that world in the first place. "Well... Unless I can learn to control that creature that brought us here... I think it's a one way trip."

 

Koen faced Neox.
"Fine, let's do this"
Neox rushed towards Koen and slammed him down onto the ground and then he slung him up in the air but Koen didn't follow the laws of gravity, he hovered in the air. Neox grunted and surged towards him but Koen was able to blast a wave of fire at Neox before he reached upto him. Neox was blown back towards the trees and knocked himself through the trees, breaking them down ontop of him. Neox screamed in anger and stood up. Neox held the tree stumps and thrown them at Koen, causing him to be sent soaring into the lake. Koen rose up in the sky and made an ice block to make a platform. Koen rose his hand and put his fingers towards himself, making a sign for Neox to come get it.

John thought that everything was going wrong, the worlds are in trouble, Koen, his best friend is dead and now Erin will be a complete wreck because of what happened. He wished there was something he could do. Tears were streaming down his face, as he saw Ale shout at Koen, trying to make him wake up.

 

Erin walked in. "What's all the screaming about? Koen, are you ok?" She asked, kneeling next to his still body. She started to shake him. "Koen, please wake up." She sobbed.

 

Koen was placed inside his room, by Shino, who had tears in his eyes, as he tucked his son into his bed. He was so silent...
"Should we call Mirisa and tell her what happened, Miss Hart?" John asked with a sad tone. Maybe this was a bad idea but she was his girlfriend.

Neox fought with Koen on the icy platform that was rolling down the river. Koen suddenly triipped on the ice and looked up at Neox.
"Now is the time to claim, what is mine"
Neox was about to strike but then Koen felt the waves below him, vibrate more fiercely and the sound of rushing waves increased. Neox looked infront of the ice platform and then he grimaced. The platform tipped over and Neox scrambled to his knees and tried to hold onto an edge. Koen tried to fly but suddenly he wasn't able to use that ability. They were going to fall and wash away out of existence.
"No!" Neox shouted in anger. He tried to grab Koen's throat but he failed to do so and without using both hands, Neox fell to his inexistence. Koen looked down and saw Neox fall to the bottom of the waterfall, which was one thousand feet below. It was daunting. Koen was frabtically seraching his mind on what to do to save himself but he couldn't think of any ideas....he was going to fall to the bottom.

 

"Alright. I'll give it a shot." Tom said. He wondered how to transform though. He focused on his heart, until he saw the creature. Tom's body started to glow until he became the creature. This time, it wasn't like the last two times. He could feel himself in control. Now, he only needed to learn how to use the power.
