Ancient Egypt - Asequel to Highschool Hell (Continued, rated M for mature.)

Will chambered the gun. "My cousin went crazy on Jesse and Ariana for fooling around!" He said. Ariana just sat there for a second, unsure of what to do.

 

Ariana stood and walked into the other room, confused at what had just happened. Will shrugged. "Anything goes in this screwed up world, I swear. James just went crazy, flipping out on Jesse." He said.

 

Will shrugged. James had been odd since they had met up with him again. Ariana sat down, wondering what to do. She liked- no, loved both of them. She was majorly confused. This was how she had felt when Jamie was still here.

 

Ariana shook her head. "I'm confused. I don't know what to do..." She breathed. Will strode out to James. "Listen man, you can't just flip out at him when you just appeared saying you've lived in the woods for years. I love you because your my family but that was crossing the line." He said.

 

She swallowed. "I don't know... I just don't know..." She muttered. Will shrugged. "I don't know but you left when we were ten, not for us to see you until now! She was heartbroken when you left!" He said.

 

Will shook his head. "No, she jut has been thinking you were dead for six years! you could never be replaced to her!" He shouted. Ariana fell asleep in his arms, curling close to him for warmth.

 

"If you say so." Tom muttered. He stepped out of the way and let his dad shake her hand.

"So has Tom been a good boy?" His dad asked Angel.

"Is that really something you should ask?" Tom asked.

"Why not? I've been wondering how you've been doing. And since you don't seem to want to talk..." His dad started.

"Why would I want to talk to you?" Tom interupted. "How could you expect me to talk to you after you left?"

Tom's dad sighed and rubbed his forehead. "What do you want me to say? I'm sorry. I don't know how many times you want to hear it, but I'm truly sorry. I know what I did was wrong. Even if it was to protect you. And I know that you may never be able to forgive me. All I'm asking is that you put the past behind us. What's done is done. Listen. If I could go back, I'd do things differently. You're my son. I want to be a part of your life again."

Tom didn't speak for a moment. He felt that his dad wasn't lying when he said that. But he kinda didn't want to forgive him. He could only think about what happened in the past. "I... I don't know what to say. No matter what I may want to do, I can't do it. Okay?"

 

"Yes?" Tom looked at her. He was still thinking about the past. He thought that nothing could have changed his opinion though. How could he forgive his father for leaving him and not even trying to contact him until today?

 

Tom had to think about what she said. She kinda confused him. Although he guessed she was right about him remembering what was important to him. He remembered her before anything else. And she is the most important thing to him.

He looked up to his father. "Okay.... I.... I forgive you for the past.... Dad."

His dad felt so much relief from hearing that. Now he wouldn't be beating himself up for what he did. "Thank you..." He then reached in his pocket. He pulled something out and handed it to Tom without Angel seeing it. "I brought this with me. I thought you might need it someday."

Tom looked at what he was given. It was a ring. It wasn't a really expensive ring. Just a simple gold ring with a small diamond attatched to it. But he quickly put it in his pocket. He did it so Angel wouldn't see. He was sure what his dad meant when he gave it to him.

"When the time comes for you." His dad smiled.
