    Name: Amelia Thorne

    Next Gen or Original: Original

Parents: Grayson Thorne and Evangeline Thorne\Aberley

    Blood Status: Muggleborn

    Best Class: Transfiguration

    Worst Class: Potions

    Sexuality: Demisexual

    Age: 18

    Year: 7

    House: Gryffindor

Personality: Looks can be deceiving when it comes to miss Thorne. But the most prominently shown things are that she's sociable, charming, and soft-spoken. Of course, she's also determined, brave and loyal, but in a way, they're lesser traits and trained by behaviors of being mature and classy as well considering her upbringing.
Her kindness, though, is what she's often known for. People regularly count on this and her caring nature whenever they need cheering up.
Nobody's perfect of course and Amelia has a range of flaws to deal with too. Her background without knowing about magic makes her ignorant to certain social and cultural cues of the wizarding world. She is also somewhat insecure and lacks confidence in her own abilities which is something she recognizes and tries to overcome. This is especially true in terms of her metamorphic abilities. In her youth, she was constantly taught (by prominent muggle relatives) to conceal and control them and as a result, she takes the same stance on it in the present day. She can be quite neurotic about maintaining control over her abilities and emotions.
Fortunately, her determination helps make sure these days are few and far between. Lastly, Amelia’s temper is unusual. She has a rather long fuse and is peaceful until provoked. But she isn’t afraid to call out injustice where she sees it or step into situations she sees as wrong.

History: Grayson Thorne and Evangeline Aberley are muggles. Grayson was the heir to Thorne Wellness, a multimillion-dollar muggle industry. While attending university to one day take over his father’s company, he met Evangeline Aberly. She was from a lower class home but was determined to better her life. Though Grayson and Evangeline loved each other, Grayson’s family was less enthusiastic about their relationship. They tried to pay Evangeline off. And when that didn’t work, conflict broke loose. Eventually, Grayson grew tired of trying to appease his family and eloped with Evangeline.

The result of the union was not pretty. The Thorne family was furious and Grayson was disinherited. The early years of their marriage were happy but hard. Grayson stayed in school and both of them worked odd jobs to support themselves and pay for Grayson’s tuition. They tried for a few years to have a child. But it seemed natural conception was not an option for them.

As the years went on, Grayson finished school and used the business savvy and charm he had inherited from his father. After the years of struggle to support himself and his wife after being cut off from his family, he managed to get a good position in an honest company. He was able to provide for his wife but the desire to expand their family never died. Eventually, the two decided to adopt. They met with a number of social workers before deciding on a child. It was a closed adoption. They never met the mother. The child was given the name Amelia Aberly.

In the following years, the Thorne family reached out to Grayson. After years of distance, they suddenly wanted to patch things. Amelia was five years old. At first, Grayson and Eve were wary of the offer. But family has a strange way of staying in the heart. It was a dysfunctional beginning. But one thing everyone could agree on was their love for Amelia. Her adopted status was never mentioned. Eventually, Grayson’s mother (Victoria Thorne), convinced Eve and Grayson that Amelia would be better off with the Thorne name. Amelia’s name was legally changed to Thorne and Grayson’s inheritance was restored. But they would all soon learn that the child was destined for more even still.

Amelia was an unusual child and that became even more when she turned seven years old. She began to show unusual traits. She had a bit of a temper in her youth. Which wasn’t a problem until the day her eyes turned red during an argument with her mother. Her emotions started to play a part in Amelia’s appearance. When she was tired, half of her face would droop. Her hair would turn a radiant gold when she was excited. Etc…
Her parents grew concerned with their daughter’s condition. It had no explanation. Her father’s family was also quite suspicious and unkind about it. They stepped in and hired all kinds of “experts to fix the child”. They went to great lengths to hide Amelia’s condition. The mystery went on for a year until Grayson and Eve’s home was visited by a mysterious stranger.
The man introduced himself as Steven Senick. He said he was a teacher at a school called “Hogwarts School of Whichcraft and Wizardry.” As strange as he was, and stranger still his words, Amelia’s parents couldn’t help but believe him. It all made sense especially when he explained the Metamorphagus trait. He explained the wizarding world and how the school could help Amelia. There was some consideration to it, but Grayson and Evangeline decided to leave the decision up to Amelia.
With that out of the way, Amelia was given a ticket to the Hogwarts express. Later, much to her grandparents shock, an owl arrived at their estate carrying Amelia’s acceptance letter and instructions for actions to be taken prior to attendance.

The first order of business was to gather supplies. Professor Senick provided assistance yet again by accompanying the child and her father to Diagon Alley. He showed them how to exchange their muggle money in Gringotts and explained the importance of being paired with the right wand. Like most students, Amelia chose an owl as her pet when it came time to do so. The day as a whole was an eye-opening and exciting experience. And her parents expressed their pride and support for their daughter happily. As for her all to involved grandparents, they were told she would be attending a private finishing school. It was an explanation that renewed their confidence in her for the time being.
Later came the day that Amelia was to board the Hogwarts Express. Her parents dropped her off at the station and were told they could not accompany her further. She had some difficulty finding ‘platform 9¾.’ But thankfully she ran into another person her age who showed her how to enter the platform.
Her first few years at Hogwarts were progressively easier than the last. This is especially true once she started to make friends and even met a student who was able to create a potion that helped her to suppress her metamorphosis.
She takes a sort of ‘special education’ class with the Transfigurations professor in hopes to control her abilities. During the time of her classes (A few months out of every school year), she is instructed to be off the potion in order for the classes to be the most effective. The classes and potions have proven helpful. Still, she has trouble with it. She is unable to make any changes to her bones or structure on her own without the use of a wand for the moment. She can change the color of her eyes, skin, and hair to some extent and her soft tissues can shift if she gets overly tired. Most of the time this happens without her notice if she isn’t careful. Those close to her have her back in those times and are quick to alert her to the situation.

    WandWood: Willow
Willow is an uncommon wand wood with healing power, and I have noted that the ideal owner for a willow wand often has some (usually unwarranted) insecurity, however, well they may try and hide it. While many confident customers insist on trying a willow wand (attracted by their handsome appearance and well-founded reputation for enabling advanced, non-verbal magic) my willow wands have consistently selected those of greatest potential, rather than those who feel they have little to learn. It has always been a proverb in my family that he who has furthest to travel will go fastest with willow.

    Wand Core: Dragon Heartstring
As a rule, dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner.
The dragon wand tends to be easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental.

    Patronus: Lioness
Self-Control, strength, nobility. Fairness, courage, patience. Lion people tend to be charismatic, prideful, protective, and peaceful unless challenged. They are very tactical, self-aware of their own strengths and weaknesses, able to judge a situation and act to their best advantage through wit and skill. A lion can teach us to be a better leader and the importance of balancing work with family time and relaxation.

    Other: Metamorphagus

“He who holds Knowledge will become a Legend. He who holds Wealth will become a King. He who holds both will become a God.”

    -Grace Ollivander

    Name: Grace Ollivander

Next Gen or Original: Next Gen

Parents: Gordon Ollivander (alive) and Rosalia Ravenswood (deceased)

    Blood Status: Pureblood

    Best Class: Potions

    Worst Class: Muggle Studies

    Sexuality: Demisexual

    Age: 18

    Year: 7

    House: Ravenclaw

    Personality:
Aloof and quiet on the outside, not many individuals know the true nature of this Ollivander descendant. To others, Grace comes across as an uptight elitist and wealthy know-it-all who answers to no one and questions everything. In reality, there is more to this Ollivander than meets the eye. With an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and to obtain a greater understanding of the world around her, she is driven by her desire to teach others, ultimately taking advantage of doing so whenever the opportunity presents itself. Grace is not a bad person by nature, but despises ignorance and will not hesitate to call someone out with her sharp tongue. She doesn't find many things amusing, as she typically wears an unreadable, blank look on her face. Despite this, she is steadfast, reliable, and hard working, enjoying little more than reading the day away or concocting never-before-seen potions in her spare time.

    History:
Grace was the culmination of a forbidden love between two well known families of the Wizarding World. Her father a next generation master wandsmith, and her mother the head of of the wealthiest magical potion family in the world. It all began in Diagon Alley when a Potions shop opened up right across from the Wands and the two owners fell in love. The rest is history… or is it?

Shortly after the silver haired Grace was born, resembling her father more than her raven haired mother, her latter died tragically in an accident, leaving the young girl in the middle of a custody battle between the two families. Ultimately due to the bottomless pockets of the Ravenswood family, Grace was fated to live her days raised by her Aunt.

She didn't have a difficult childhood. In fact, Grace grew up not wanting anything. She enjoyed living the rich life, having the world always just a price tag away. It wasn't until her preteen years that she finally met her father upon going to receive her first wand. Over time the two of them bonded over their shared love of knowledge and all things wizardry. She was granted permission to frequent visits to him when she could, and thus learned all he could teach her in the time they had.

In school, Grace excelled in nearly all classes, to a point where she became bored with her studies and often requested to be sent away on internships for months at a time. Due to this, she had a hard time making friends and acknowledging her peers… other than a select few she was forced to interact with growing up.

Despite this, Grace is entering her final year at Hogwarts and now faces a tough decision ahead of her. At a proverbial fork-in-the-road, it is still unclear which familial path she will take.

    WandWood:
“Whenever I meet one who carries a cedar wand, I find strength of character and unusual loyalty. My father, Gervaise Ollivander, used always to say, ‘you will never fool the cedar carrier,’ and I agree: the cedar wand finds its perfect home where there is perspicacity and perception. I would go further than my father, however, in saying that I have never yet met the owner of a cedar wand whom I would care to cross, especially if harm is done to those of whom they are fond. The witch or wizard who is well-matched with cedar carries the potential to be a frightening adversary, which often comes as a shock to those who have thoughtlessly challenged them.”

    -Some random Ollivander

    Wand Core: Phoenix Feather

    Patronus:
Hawk - Those with the hawk patronus are dangerously intelligent, noting every detail of what is around them. They are great observers as well as being magnificent hunters, this meaning they have both sides of the coin covered. They can come up with an idea, plan it out, and execute it perfectly. They are extreme perfectionists, wanting everything to be just as they see it. If it isn’t, they feel trapped, which can cause them to become incredibly emotional.

    Other: Registered Hawk Animagus

    Name: Vanessa Granger (Nightblood)

    Next Gen or Original: Original

Parents: Alyssa Nightblood(Birth Mother) and George Lockhart(Birth Father) Hermione Granger(Adopted Mother) and Ronald Weasley(Adopted Father)

    Halfblood, Pureblood, or Muggle-Born: Pureblood

Best Class: Defense Against the Dark Arts.

    Worst Class: Transfiguration

    Sexuality: Bisexual

    Age: 18

    Year: 7

    House: Slytherin

History: The wizarding world is full of tragedy, and this is yet another tale of such a thing. Born Vanessa Nightblood, Vanessa was a kindhearted person in her youth, but was always extremely focused on studies and school, foregoing having very many friends, or participating in outdoor activities, in favor of her textbooks and reading material. She lived rather peacefully for eleven years, before tragedy struck.

Her parents were never the most popular people in the wizarding world, they weren’t exactly hated, but they were certainly not loved either. At twelve years old, her and her parents were out picking out her first wand when they met Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger. This was a once in a lifetime meeting for Vanessa, Hermione was a prodigy and getting to meet her and ask her so many questions was a dream come true for her… until the hooded men showed up. It was nearly instantaneous and her parents had no time to react as the men began their attack. To this day, she wholeheartedly believes if Ron and Hermione had not been there that day, she’d have been killed. The men were caught and put down relatively quickly, but Vanessa’s life was changed forever. Her parents were two of the people killed in the attack, leaving her an orphan with nothing more than a wand to her name.

Ron and Hermione took pity on the girl, and decided to take her home and adopt her as their own, changing her last name legally to Granger as a precaution in case she really was a target and it wasn’t a coincidence. It was this event, the death of her parents, that changed Vanessa for the worst. She became cold, and cruel. Relentlessly focusing on her studies, making absolutely zero time for friends, and using anyone and everyone to excel her growth. She poured a majority of her study into Defense Against the Dark Arts so that she could master it and one day become an Auror, that way she could prevent the same tragedy that befell her from happening to others.

Now into what could very well be her final year at Hogwarts, Vanessa must prove to the leader of the Auror Division, Harry Potter himself, that she is worthy of even taking the test to become an Auror. She has a rigorous year ahead of her, and she isn’t going to let anyone or anything, step on her one true dream.

Personality: At first glance, Vanessa is the exact opposite of what a Slytherin typically is. Not in the least moody or snobby, she maintains an almost frustrating amount of happiness and smiles despite any situation she may be put in. She is deceivingly kind to everyone and everything, and for some odd reason, attracts all sorts of animals to her side, which follow her around everywhere she goes. Despite this however, underneath the happy exterior Vanessa shows off is a thirst for knowledge and power. Almost two-faced in a way, she is willing to do anything to expand her personal well of knowledge. She is extremely resourceful and charming, and able to convince others to help her do things she may not be able to do alone. She has the capacity to be cold, calculating, and cruel in her heart, and has done so to many in the past. Her facade of constant smiles and happiness is merely that, a facade, nothing more, nothing less. She has not been truly happy in years, and is willing to toss others aside to gain more power and knowledge. She has very few true friends because of this, but in her pursuit of knowledge, there are some who she would welcome by her side.

    Wand: 12 inches

Dogwood: Dogwood wands are quirky and mischievous; they have playful natures and insist upon partners who can provide them with scope for excitement and fun.

It would be quite wrong, however, to deduce from this that dogwood wands are not capable of serious magic when called upon to do so; they have been known to perform outstanding spells under difficult conditions, and when paired with a suitably clever and ingenious witch or wizard, can produce dazzling enchantments. An interesting foible of many dogwood wands is that they refuse to perform non-verbal spells and they are often rather noisy.

Dragon Heartstring Core: Dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner. The dragon wand tends to be easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental

Patronus: Snake: Those with the snake patronus are intoxicating, indulgent in their mannerisms and a drug to others. They are very personable, getting others to grow fond of them quickly. They are graceful in their expression, but very fiery as well. They make an impression fast, and they get their point across, whatever it may be. They tend to attempt hiding their feelings, seeing them as weakness, though they are incredibly emotional. This causes them to be venomous when angry, lashing out at others.

Other: Her strange connection to animals is thought to come from her birth mother Alyssa, who also seemed to have a unique connection with animals and magical creatures alike.

Name: Remulous Steele (AKA Remy) ( Flash)

    Next Gen or Original: Original

    Parents: Apollo and Julia Steele

    Halfblood, Pureblood, or Muggle-Born: Pureblood

Best Class: Defense Against The Dark Arts

    Worst Class: Potions

    Sexuality: Heterosexual

    Age: 19

    Year: 7

    House: HufflePuff

History: Remy Steele born to parents of a middle class home. He is the son of Apollo and julia, as a child Remy was shy around others, he often had a hard time opening up and getting his words out. It wasn't that he was afraid, but he wasn't sure how to speak to people. He was an only child with no siblings so a majority of the time he’d spend by himself. One late afternoon when his father was working hard in his study Remy peeked into his father's office. His father seemed to be struggling with some sort of drawing on the desk, the paper was white but it had scribbles all over it, numbers and measurements. “ This is going to drive me insane…” Apollo scoffed, He headed towards the door and walked out, Remy quickly hid behind the door as to not be seen. “ What is he doing in there…” Remy asked himself. Thinking no other way to find out other than to see for himself he quickly dashed into the room and sat in his father's chair.

The paper on the desk was not just a drawing it was a blueprint, schematics for what seemed to be a broomstick? “ Why is dad making a broomstick..?” It wasn't till he realized his father worked at the Nimbus Racing Company. “ Dad’s making a broom? But….why?” Hopping down from his dad’s chair he heard his name called. “ Remulous! What have i told you about being in my study?” Sorry dad you just looked kind of stressed and i wanted to see what this was.”

“ Well im trying to afford a better future for you and your mother so the idea is im trying to create the best broom the Nimbus company has ever seen.

    “ Does mom know?”

“ No she’s told me to stop with this but….” He looked over to the side of the desk and there was a trophy it said “ Quidditch World cup, with the name “ Simon steele” My father was a world renowned player and i want to honor his legacy by creating the best broom ever crafted…”

“ Then ill help you! Remy said in an excited voice. We can do it together i’ll try to ride your brooms and i can tell you what they need ok!” His father chuckled and rubbed his head. “Off to bed with you”

The next day Remy’s mother was cooking dinner and on the TV screen was a quidditch match. Remy only saw it out of the corner of his eye but it ensnared him and grasped his attention. He could not draw his eyes away from it. Especially the seeker, he was left in awe as they zoomed across the screen like lightning.” Wow…”

As the years went on Remy grew older and stuck to his word with his father. Apollo had been secretly making brooms on the side at his factory and bringing them home for Remy to try and help him find each and every error they had. But all these years of riding his father's brooms made him extremely adept at riding broomsticks more so than the average kid and even more so than the average athlete.

Remulous joined the quidditch team at Hogwarts as a first year, he was recruited by the current captain of the team George. During one game there was a Team Nimbus executive watching, they were a friend of the staff and decided just to stay late one evening. It was then she saw Remy’s broomstick, he rode through the air with such finesse and clarity. Of course the rider makes the broom look better but this broom was different. Once the game ended the team nimbus executive made her way to the locker room and asked Remy about the broom he was riding. “ It’s my dad’s creation he’s been making me brooms for a while now this is the finished product he calls it StormBreaker. “ No later than that the Nimbus Racing Company sponsored the broom design giving the Steele family sole rights over the name and design.

Personality : Remy is humble polite compassionate and brave. Remy is a carefree individual with a very strong sense that people should enjoy life as much as possible. He always helps those in need even above himself, and once he has decided on a goal it is highly unlikely that anyone would sway him from it. He may be seen as naive and young, usually stating quotes like ' i'm the best that ever was and ever will be" and " We can't fail cause i'm here " He can be very thick headed at times but he does not let this get in the way of being the leader he knows he can be. Subsequently he's never stuck to one thing in his life aside from riding brooms.

However when he got his hands on a broomstick something inside of him sparked. Turning that lazy good for nothing into a channel of energy.. When he’s not busy with his team efforts he can be found with his head strapped to headphones.

Wand: Pear Wood : This golden-toned wood produces wands of splendid magical powers, which give of their best in the hands of the warm-hearted, the generous and the wise. Possessors of pear wands are, in my experience, usually popular and well-respected. I do not know of a single instance where a pear wand has been discovered in the possession of a Dark witch or wizard. Pear wands are among the most resilient, and I have often observed that they may still present a remarkable appearance of newness, even after many years of hard use.

    Wand Core: Phoenix

This is the rarest core type. Phoenix feathers are capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may take longer than either unicorn or dragon cores to reveal this. They show the most initiative, sometimes acting of their own accord, a quality that many witches and wizards dislike. Phoenix feather wands are always the pickiest when it comes to potential owners, for the creature from which they are taken is one of the most independent and detached in the world. These wands are the hardest to tame and to personalise, and their allegiance is usually hard won.

Patronous: The phoenix is a difficult patronus to come by, and if you do happen to have it, it signifies a very strong heart. These people have been through a lot in their life, and have risen from the ashes of it and become driven, daring, and a bit stubborn. They will not let anything bring them down, because they’ve been there before and never want to go back to that place. They have fire-like emotions, and can therefore be a bit tense at times. They are natural therapists, wanting to help others get out of tough places to allow them to rise as well.

Here is my entry. Let me know if you want anything changed. And thank you for the invite.
