Not quite... I don't think...
Mary-Suing (or Gary Stuing lol) is defined as being a character constantly in need of assistance and physical help in the RP, being that- let's say, Mary Sue fell off a cliff and was hanging on for dear life. One of the other characters has to devote all their time to save Mary Sue who intentionally plotted falling off the cliff to give herself more attention to others in the story.

So yeah, just don't be getting into self-inflicted trouble purposely, and don't let your character fall off any cliffs. XD

 

Um... mary-sues are those who:

1. Dominate teh spotlight or are too unrealistic.
2. Too boastful.
