No you wouldn't. So if a women didn't want that child, why suffer for it?

 

Because you Should always want a child. That's what I can't understand, why would someone not want a child?

Secondly Parents should be willing to walk through hell for their kids, show unconditional love for them, and always be willing to make their kids happy even at the expense of their parents happiness.

But some people are so selfish they place themselves above their children. Like that Casey Athony woman, if I got a hold of her I kill her. There was no excuse for what she did. Just like there is no excuse for abortion.

 

1. Maybe because there to young, no money, The child could kill them? The child could be disabled. If the circumstances are correct a person shouldn't have to suffer for a child.

2. Yes parents should, in a sense. They shouldn't go through hell for that person tho. But if its not born, then its not there child. Its a thing growing inside them, like a tumor.

2. If I knew that one of us would live and one would die, then I would tell the doctor to save my baby and let me die. If both of us would die then yes I would abort it, but that is the only good reason I see to have an abortion.

If someone killed your mother then you would be so angry you would want that person dead right?

 

1. Some countries don't have an adoption system.

2. So the baby would have to grow up in a world without a mother? That doesn't seem very fair, life is difficult for those who lose their mother as she is a key role in everyones life.

3. Its the way your country is run, there is no free health care, its is payed for by taxes and it is the bare minimum in prisons. Some country health care is not optional, it is illegal not to have health insurance and if you cannot afford it the government helps you.

P.S - Love the comparison of a baby and a tumor, lets me add this.

If you had a parasite in your body (yes this does happen) would you let it live off you because you believe its a living thing and its the right thing to do?

 

For me, it depends what it is. And if it was seriously harming me, then I'd get rid of it. But babies that are still in the womb aren't parasites. A baby in the womb is a symbiotic relationship, but it isn't a parasite because parasites harm the host. Most pregnancies, the baby does not harm the mother.

 

I understand that, but his argument thing is that its living and if you kill it your a murderer. Shouldn't the same thing be said if a parasite was inside of you?

 

Your right, in most case's the baby does not harm the mother. But if it did, or the mother saw it as a parasite, Does she not have the right to abort it? Why should someone be deemed as 'evil' and a 'murderer', for ridding themselves of a parasite.

 

And by asking that, you're getting the subject into a broader position. I'm guessing that everybody only thinks about either the woman or the baby when they enter that debate.

But with what you're asking, that then leads to more topics, like should we kill animals, do animals have the same right to live as we do, etc.

Bringing that in makes it harder to make a decision.

Maybe it's not, because the parasite is intentionally harming it's host. And then saying that babies don't intentionally harm the mother brings up the question of if animals have the same level of intelligence as other things, or do they act only on instinct.

I don't understand why a mother would see the baby as a parasite. But I myself don't think she has the right to abort the baby just because she thinks it's a parasite. I'm one of those people who see abortion as the easy way out of having a child the person doesn't want. And to me, I think tough, she shouldn't have the right to do so. Sure, it may not seem fair if she's not allowed to do that, but I also think life's not fair.

To me, people who get abortions just because they don't want a child are being greedy and selfish. It bugs me so much that so many people these days are so selfish and think of themselves before others.

 

But it's not a parasite, no matter if the mother thinks it is or not. Scientific fact tells it is not a parasite. So they is not a good reason for having an abortion.

Kupo, let me explain what I am trying to say.

Why do people have sex before marriage? Why do people put themselves at risk for getting pregnant? Why do they put themselves in situations where they could get raped?

Because their stupid and not responsible. Everyone should wait until marriage before having sex, that is the right thing to do. And everyone should want to do the right thing, so why don't they? Because of many factors, and those factors I want to get rid of.

When I said opinion does'nt matter, I meant that in the end our opinions don't matter. If God says that something is wrong then it's wrong, because God's word is law and that is not opinion.

 

And has god said to you this is wrong in a vision?

And does it make me stupid, that i would rather walk the 10 minutes home from town and risk getting raped. Or am i evil for the 5 minute straight where i walk through a unpopulated area to get home after school and risk getting raped?

People have sex before marriage for pleasure, excitement. To become closer to someone. Yes they risk getting pregnant, and if they don't want the baby there's technology to get rid of it. So why shouldn't they keep there happiness and abort? Because god said so? Because you'll hunt them down and torture them?

If i myself, got pregnant now, i would probably abort. Because what life would that child have with a mother with no job? Unable to finished education. I plan on having children but after im finished schooling and college. And i don't see that as selfish. In a way its almost selfless, not letting a child come into the world having nothing. Even if that women doesn't want the child and abort's it. It will still hurt her because of maternal connection.

But women should be able to choose to have that baby or not. And not be deemed murderer for the latter.

 

That's why I think they should adopt the baby instead of aborting it. And maybe you're not being selfish if you did that. I suppose it's just the broad thing of having an abortion to avoid having a child that I think it selfish. True, I cannot truly judge unless I know all the facts relating to it. But also with what you said about bringing a child into the world with nothing, there's worse. Pulse mentioned this though.

I don't know if Ireland has adoption or not. But wouldn't you adopt the child if you had the chance?

But that is wrong in the eyes of God. God said only have sex in marriage.

And what would you tell your future kids? I killed your little brother/sister. If I knew my mother did something like that then I could never forgive her, I would be disgusted with her. She killed my brother/sister, and I would hate myself for being the child of a murderer.

 

My opinion on abortion is that, it totally comes down to the person. People say it's not right. But, is anything in the modern world "right" today? While your complaining about abortion you may as well complain about the masses of other issues which face humanity today. But, that's besides the point

Humanity is always going to press forward, as long as there is a system in place to stop us, humanity will always try to push the boundary. I say, it's down to the individual. If you can afford it, it's not against your belief system and you want it done, then go for it. I know it contradicts my opinion on Capital Punishment being murder. But at least it's a being which has not begun its life as a human, being terminated, and not a criminal who has done wrong.
