Zack leaned back on his seat. "I wonder how many years I have. Hmm." In the dark, his right eye was still wide. It had an odd look to it, like it was seeing more than it should. Slowly, it went back to what his other eye was like, partially closed. "Heh. And here I thought this eye was a curse. Well, I guess even curses can be useful." He had to stop from shuddering as he recalled his years as a child. It was a genetic mutation, a fluke. A fluke that had been in his family since the end of the world, or was it a new beginning? In any case, with this eye he could see those in the next life. But that wasn't nearly as fun as you might think. He was forced to spend several years to frightened to leave his room. He couldn't walk around his house without seeing a dead man, hanging from the rafters or lying on the floor in a pool of blood. You see, it wasn't just spirits, but small rifts in time only people with a strong sixth sense could see. It was never pleasant. And yet, if he hadn't been able to see that Halja, Emily would be dead. Perhaps it was a gift? Regardless, he wouldn't tell anyone about this. If he did, it would only make people shun him. Oh they would follow orders, but they would always hate him for what he was. They would be distracted and that might get someone hurt. He leaned back in his seat on the transport. Yes, he would keep it a secret. His last secret. He idly wondered about the number. The most unlucky number, number 13. He thought about erasing the one but decided against it. Maybe he was just paranoid after what happened.

Riley sighed as the commotion in the transport started to get louder. In order to block out the sound he placed his headphones over his ears and started up his tunes. A soft dirge began playing and he setled back into his seat. The song seemed to go along well with the transports movements as if it was made for this trip. He closed his dark gray eyes and tried to get some rest. Hopefully this wouldn't be something that would just be a waste of time. Though if there was one good thing that came out of this it was the idea's that Kevin had placed in peoples heads. Some of the looks on their faces were priceless. Recently his friends threads had become quite popular, even among staff members. As long as someone was having a good time out of this, Riley guessed that it didn't matter.
