A Haunted Masquerade: Halloween dance for KHP

Lily grinned sheepishly and laughed. "Um...its meant to be a party! But noones here yet!" She looked around her, shook her head and sighed. 'This is such a drag' she thought to herself. She turned back to Jordan. "Well...you can stick with us and wait if you want!" She suggested.

 

"Ok, sure," Jordan said in a happy tone once more. In the back of his head he thought, “Real exciting! I could be out with my friends but here I am at this dead party. Aren't I lucky. Plus no date.” Jordan looked around and said to himself, "Perfect place to venture and explore."

 

Lily looked at the other and sighed again. She looked up at Ed and spoke quietly. "Hey how about we take a look around now? Im bored! Besides who knows how long its gonna take 'til everyone else gets here! Please!" She felt much more determind now. Not to mention there were other people there so she had nothing to worry about.

 

Jordan thought to himself, “She read my mind.” He turned his head to see a large staircase. He smiled and muttered, "Perfect." He looked to the others and said, "I don't know about you all but I'm going to look around a bit. He turned and made his way to the staircase, and began to make his descent upward. The stairs creeked loudly with each step he took.

 

Lily saw something move at the corner of here eye, but there was nothing there. She then heard a slow creaking sound. She gasped. It was Jordan walking slowly up the staircase. She ran behind him. "Hey Jordan! I don't think you should wonder off alone!" She shivered at the thought of ghosts and all the stories about this place being true.

 

Jordan turned to see Lily. He smiled and said, "You're coming with me then? Great, the more the scarier-I mean merrier." Jordan laughed at his joke. He began to continue his walk up and said, "Relax, not like this place is haunted or anything. Although that does suck."

 

"uh...well.." Lily looked back at the Ed and the crowd of people standing in the Ballroom. She took a deep breath and looked up at Jordan and raised her eyebrows while she spoke. "'Course I am! D'ya think im really gonna miss a chance to look at this place?" she grinned and ran up the steps. Under each of her light steps she heard a small squeaking sound. 'Man this place must be ancient' she thought to herself. She took a last look behind her then took a step forward. "Lets go!"

 

Jordan smiled and nodded in agreement. He continued to walk up the stairs until he arrived on the second floor. He looked around before signaling to Lily to come up. He was in a long hallway which was covered with dust and cobwebs everywhere. He looked down the stairs and told Lily, "It's alright to come up. Unless you can't stand the sight of anything dirty."

 

"Heh! You obviously havent met my brother. His room is a toxic nuclear waste site!" She laughed while running up the stepss and into the hallway. Everthing looked very antique and victorian. The wall was a creamy colour with a thick layer of dust over it which dimmed the colour out. There were two corridoors one going left and the other going right. She looked at Jordan. "So.... Which way?"

 

Jordan thought for perhaps half a second before saying. "Left's never the best but right's always right. Kinda my motto," Jordan said laughing. He waited for her by the door, not wanting to leave her behind.

 

Lily walked toward Jordan slowly. She looked back with a worried look on her face. 'I hope Ed doesn't get worried when he sees im gone' she said to herself. She looked back at Jordan. "Come on!"

 

Jordan nodded and opened the door. The room looked perfectly cleaned but with antique furniture. There was even a fireplace in the room still burning. "Ok, creepy," Jordan said to himself. No one was in the room whic made it creepier. Jordan walked in a bit more to look around.

 

Lily stood in the doorway and peeked inside. She walked inside and looked around, she walked over to the fireplace and knelt down to get a closer look. "Hm....it looks like someone has already been here. But i dont get it...noones lived here in ages." She stood up and obsevered the objects on the mantle piece. There were two very old and dusty picture frames, a mantle clock which was still ticking rhythmically and a small silver box. She ran her finger slowly over the box which, along with everything else, was covered in dust. "Nice!"

 

Mean while back in the ball room, Toraa turned around to find that both Jordan and Lily were no where to be found. He turned to Ed and Regie. Pointing behind him he sked, "Hey, Ed where did Jordan and Lily go?"

 

Will shrugged. "Some are probably here." He said, reching over to the dash and grabbing his mask. He slid it onto his face and smiled at his costume. He had picked the costume becaue he liked the music of the play. "Why I picked Phantom of the Opera, I'll ever know..." He muttered, triding to Kyuu's side. He held out his arm and grinned. "Shall we?" He asked.
