Without some backlash? How many people even remember it? And of those people, who cares? Admittedly I might have before since I have some high scores, but now I don't.

Admittedly you could probably give it a few weeks and if nobody comments about it then I suppose you can completely remove it without telling anybody.

I mean search engine penalties not the people.

Sorry to be a creepy lurker, but you could probably just turn the forum invisible. Set it so no one has permission to see it (or just the admin if the other's not possible). You won't lose all the posts and stuff that are in that section, and regular forum members won't be bothered or confused by it. Would that get around the search engine penalties? *shrugs*

Oh, search engine stuff. Always forgetting about those. I think Kitty's idea is a good one though.

Okay, cool! The best I can do is make it invisible to members excluding staff. Everyone else can see it! That shouldn't be a problem.
