you're right, I don't think my local movie theater sells hamburgers, they seem to have everything else though; hotdog, pizza, nachos, chicken tenders, but no burgers. Hmm... I might need to bring that up to them about expanding their menu lol

exactly! the people who work at movie theaters are regular people too so they have been to movies and paid the expensive prices for tickets and snacks so they know for a fact that probably 90% of the people who walk in with a purse or backpack more than likely has snacks in it, AND THEY DON'T CARE! They know you're going to sneak food in so using that as a type of threat to get them to lower their prices of snacks is stupid. Even if they lowered their prices I guarantee people would STILL sneak in food so really the whole thing is pointless

bleh! just a prime example of why I could never work in customer service lol speaking of which I went to the movies today and while I was waiting for my tickets this lady comes to the customer service desk and launches into this speech to the manager about the high prices of concessions, she started spouting off that these prices are the reason she doesn't like to come to the movies and that by charging almost $5 for a drink they are forcing her to sneak stuff in her purse. While she was going on and on I just kept thinking to myself "if the prices make you not want to come to the movies then DON'T COME TO THE MOVIES! Losing one customer isn't going to completely destroy their business nor is it going to make the prices of snacks go down, be smart and eat before or after you go to the movie or do like you said, sneak snacks in your purse!"

thats not good, you gotta stick up for yourself when crazy people are around

at that point I would have her removed from the restaurant for causing a disturbance to other customers

she was probably one of those people who expect their sandwiches to look exactly like it does on TV commercials, all perfect and juicy and not a single sesame seed out of place lol

I'd believe that, customers get especially grouchy about their food

and concessions can't forget that lol the one I'm trying to work at is very big though and gets alot of business, especially on the weekends and during the summer so I can only imagine the craziness I'll have to put up with there

hopefully the job I get a my local movie theater won't suck. My best friend is trying to help me out and get me a job there cuz he works there too
