Okay I like the trauma stuff but instead of her wanting revenge, let's have her be desperate for love. The whole reason she wants the soul of Bahamut is to become a God right? But the reason why she wants to become a God is the whole world will be forced to love her. This also works with why she created a castle city to cut off her people from the world, so her people would never leave her and she wouldn't be alone again.

We could even have her try to seduce the hero in an attempt to make him her husband. Basicaly she is driven by the desperate desire to never be alone because she was always alone as a child except when she was being abused.

Now this next question is the most important aspect of any villian. Why is you're villian evil? What made her evil?

And how does she steal his soul? It seems to me, the story of how Bahamut created the world should be a legend in the game, a fairy tail but the villian knows it is reality and the heros soon learn this truth. Now somehow the villian needs to find a way to both cause Bahamut to appear(Crystals would be the typical plot device here) and a way to steal his soul(A ritual could work in this case.)

Now we have the relationship between the villian and hero settled, the next part is the over all goal of the villian and how she plans to obtain that goal.

Okay, next question should the villian be male or female? See if we make the villian female then we could have a Adam and Eve them between the two. What I mean by that is that she could tempt him with something just like Eve tempted Adam to eat the fruit of knowledge too.

I like that alot. So will the main hero be a male or female?

Okay, well here is what I can come up with for now. Let's say that the castle city is actually created by a leader who wanted to close off his people from the world and the hero's are a group of rebels trying to free the society from this leader.

A modern day castle, futuristic castle, or a castle from the past?

Oh right, yeah you have any ideas?
