They were just plain badass and awesome.

They were... very old.
In 1962 he saved the world from going into WW3.
Age unknown, I'd think he be in his 30's so he would of at least been 70-90 (big gap yes, I still need to MGS research >.<)

But Naked dies due to old age and Solid sees enlightenment as his days are soon being outnumbered quitting his trade mark cigarette.

At the end of MGS 4 he somehow is.
Solid "killed" him in an earlier mission.

Well Solid Killed Naked because Naked Became a Terrorist.

They all defected to terrorism. Solid was the only true Hero.
Though Naked had a more heroic story. Even though he had defected as well.

Naked defected and planned terrorist plots.
Solid was a super Spy like Naked once was.

Well Solid had a good run.
He killed Naked, Liquid and Solidus.
But in 4 Naked was still alive =0

Oh okay =D, seems sorta interesting, i wanna try that

Well they all die at the same time as well =P
Seeing how they are clones and Clones have a shorter life span.

Naked Snake's Story takes place in 1962
His clones are around sometime during the late 1990's/2000's

In different time lines, though researching MGS 4 story blew me apart with an event =0

Unless they introduce them, I don't think there will be any more snakes.
Apart from Naked, Solid, Liquid and Solidus, none other were mentioned in the series.

They were only Code Names
Naked Snake is "Big Boss" and I think 8 clones were created from him.
2 survived, the rest presumed dead.
Liquid and Solid survived and the third who was presumed dead is named solidus.
All part of a military super soldier thing.

kind of, considering how Solid is one of the clones of Naked =P

It's a cool story.
3's my favourite by far, I've still yet to Play Play 4 (it's on the PS3)
1 and 2 follow the story of Solid Snake
3 follows the story of Naked Snake.

Not at all, only a bit of blood splatter that's all. it can be taken off as well in options.
Main of the game is to infiltrate without being seen =P

And afterwards manages to escape a prison cell deep in the jungles south of Russia making his way back to friendlies across the ocean on a sea plane

Well he gets his eye shot out saving someone. Seems pretty badass to me =P
