Zombie Island

Erik got out of his car just a short walk from the docks. He was wearing his usual business attire, with his vacation wear in one of his two suitcases. His blond hair was slicked back as usual. He went around to the backseat of the car, and retrieved his luggage. He closed the door, picked up his things, and walked toward the dock. I was just your usual coastal dock. But there weren't any other boats docked here. It was just another clear, sunny day.

Erik always enjoyed meeting new people, so he was far from shy. He noticed it was a man and a woman. The woman, he noticed, was pretty. Beautiful in her own way.

Erik approached the man with a smile. "Hello, are you two here for the resort opening?"

 

Erik raised his eyebrow when Leevy corrected his name, but decided to ignore it. Its not like he hasn't forgotten his name before on a rough day. He smiled a bit at the thought. He was about to talk with Victoria when he heard the loud horn.

Erik jerked, startled by the horn, then grinned when he saw the large banner on the side.

"Well Leevy, Victoria, this looks like our ride." Erik picked up his two suitcases. "And my name's Erik, by the way."

Are we really going on that ship?

. . .its big.

 

Riley arrived at dock by Taxi. Shortly after he paid the driver and picked up his things, he had a short walk to see anyone else in there. Riley brought his laptop inside his backpack, as he put the others in his luggage. He checked out his watch and quite surprised how early he arrived. "7 AM, must because of my early sleep than usual." said Riley.

He letting out a big yawn and correcting his glasses. After looked around the dock, he saw a big Cruise Ship. Amazed by the size and hoping this was the right ship, he decided to walk closer to the Ship. But after a short walk, he saw about 3 people who are two man and one woman.

"I should ask them if this thing's really the transportation." thought Riley. He approaches with sleepy looks but trying to smile. "Excuse me, may i know if you guys also on the trip?" asked Riley.

 

Faith jumped out of her dads car.....she felt the fresh sea breeze on her face, she took a deep breath. Her dad followed her out and scanned the area. 'are you sure its safe? i mean is it really an official thing? i mean u can always stay at home if you want'. Faith ignored her dads rambling and reached into the boot for her bags. she noticed that some of the other winners were already there. She turned to here dad and pointed at the crowd with a huge grin on her face. 'See dad, now I'll be fine! dont sweat it!' She kissed her dad on his forehead and headed out to meet up with the rest of the crowd. As she walked, she turned waved at her dad for the last time, and quikened her pace. she knew nothing could stop her now.....

 

Erik heard another person's voice behind him. He turned to the person behind him. "Um, well yes we are.-" He put down the right suitcase."-I'm Erik, and this is Leevy and Victoria.", he said, facing each in turn.

He looked over the newcomer's shoulder, and noticed a young girl walking briskly toward the dark. "And it looks like we have yet another passenger." He said, pointing slightly toward the girl.

 

Faith ran up the path leading towards the ship. Faith looked at the crowd with gleaming eyes! She couldnt seen to keep her excitment bottled up. 'Hey guys.... im Faith! Its nice to meet you all' unaware that she was pratically screaming at them.She streatched out her hand and kept her face still with a huge cheesy grin while trying to catch her breath. One of the group members approched her.

 

Erik's couldn't help but be a bit startled by her energy, but she seemed yound, and couldn't blame her. He put down his other suitcase, and walked up to Faith, and held out his hand.

"Hello Faith. I'm guessing you're an invited guest as well?" He said with a smile.

 

Faith was relieved to know that atleast one of then weren't all anti-social freaks. 'Yup......uh how 'bout you guys?' She hesitated a little about shaking a complete strangers hand....but she felt okay with it. She was going to be stuck with these people for a while so she might as well start by trusting them. Her dads voice echoed in her head.....all those years he told her not to talk to strangers, but now she finally has the chance to disobey her dad, which is something she doesnt do ofen.

 

"Damnit! I hate public transportation!" Markus declared as he was running towards the docks. "Grah! I shouldn't have packed so much. . . ."

The young chef was carrying a very filled duffel bag and a metallic suitcase as he grunted his way down the pier to where the others were. Without warning, he crashed to the ground just as he had reached the group, panting heavily.

"I've *huff* got to. . . . excercise *puff* more." He gasped as he used the duffel as a pillow.

 

Suddenly Riley was shocked by a crash of heavy metallic things and saying, "What was that?". Then he looked around and saw a man that laying on the ground with duffel in his head. Riley walked closer to him and woke him up. "Sir! The ship is gonna depart soon!" said Riley. Then he looked at his luggage and trying to pick it up to help him, but it was so heavy that it didn't move slightly.

"Man, what's inside this thing?!" Riley mumbled. He looked to Erik and calling him, "Would you like to help me out?" asked Riley.

 

Erik saw Lent going into the ship, and grabbed his luggage to follow. "I recommend you the rest of us get onboard as well, we'd best not get left behind.

He looked over to Faith. "Why don't you stick with me for now, no one else has said hello as of yet. I'll stick with ya till then. Unless you'd rather not."

 

Faith looked at Erick and smiled. "Sure, why not?'. She grabbed her stuff and followed the rest into ship. She noticed one kid standing on the deck, open mouthed, while admiring....well everything. The ship was amazing. Everything was Dazzling and new. Jacuzzi, resturantes, pool table, a swimming pool and spa........this place was totally worth the trip to the docks with her dad who just kept going on and on about her health and safety. The cieling was sky-high and made of crystal clear glass so that when she looked up, all you can see is the clear blue sky. Faith was speech-less......all she could do was stare and hope that this wasnt all a dream, and if it is.....it will never end!

 

Erik thought his house was nice. But thiiiissss, was out of his world. Everything was amazing. White, just pure white paradise. He was going to enjoy this trip more than he'd ever enjoyed any other.

"Faith, lets find each of our rooms. I need to get this luggage put up so I can relax. Where'd you like to meet back at? I vote the casino."

 

Faith laughed, "Who knows if we'll meet again? This place is huge! I'd probably get lost just trying to find the exit. But sure the casino in an hour?" She spoke while drooling over the nice food being served on someone elses plate! "Then we gotta check out the resturantes....just look at the food." She pointed at a ladys plate, she could tell that the woman was feeling uncomfortable about having a stranger pointing at her plate. Faith apologized to her and set off to find her room. She passed so many rooms she lost count but she finally found it, room 666. She didnt feel to cool with the number on the door but she did take any notice once she opened the door. Her room was undescribable. It was huge, the furniture had oriental designs on it and her bed was a double king size bed. She threw her things on the ground and leaped onto her ginormous bed, burying herself in the throw pillows. She was definatly living la-vida loca!

 

Erik found his room on one of the upper levels of the ship. Room 321. . ."Well, isnt' that an interesting number."
The room was elegant, yet simple. It was a small, one bed, on bath, and a small desk and computer, and very large flatscreen tv opposite the bed. The walls were red and gold, and the celings were white ceramic tile. The carpet was thick and smooth, red with golden swirls.
