Hey guys. I tried to put in a request for a sig, and it got ignored. So now, I have decided to make some sigs of my own so i don't have to rely on other people to make em. This is my first time ever sig, made in study hall with photo shop. I also have Gimp 2 at home that I will be using.
Please rate knowing that i'm still way new to this scene, so it will take me some time in fiddling to get this all good.

Note: I had some problems with the file so i had to tune its quality down a lot to get it to upload. Also i guess you have to click the image to view it. Sorry, i'll try to figure out how to fix it later.

Follow the rules of thirds, search it on DA.

Well the font is good but don't put the "made by Zerieth", just put Zerieth.
The background is bad because it doesnt go with the wolf. Well work on that for now.

Hmm. Well Its better than my first sig. I dont consider myself an expert but this is some of the things I think you could improve on.

Your background really doesn't go with the wolf and your render is a bit rough.

Also you may want to try using different colors and fonts for your text I can barely make out what you're trying to say. Your tag can say anything that goes along with your name but 'Made by Zerieth' seems a bit too much especially with the quote you have above. "Zerieth" would have been just fine.

Its nicely done for your first try but you could do better.

And thats what i need. I'll edit this to make it better later, but i had little time to make it, and almost no knowledge of photo shop, and i ended up asking a friend how to even get an image moved and duplicated. XD.

I have Gimp, so i'll really be using that. I just wanted to see how photo shop was. Not user friendly. =(

    GrandShadow I accept your challange.

personally i find PS easier then GIMP.

like they already said, the background doesn't go with the render. not to be mean, but the background is horrible. the effects on it don't seem to work well together and it really just looks like scribbles.

lol Actually I didn't have photoshop until after a friend helped me download it awhile ago. I'm still trying to get use to it as well. I used lunapic until then. PS is pretty easy to get the hang of with the help of a few tutorials. I can provide links to the ones I used if you need them.

Gimp is my worst enemy! I learned how to use it in a media class a few years ago. I was top of the class *though thats not hard when your school is full of hicks*. But I still hated Gimp with a passion. I suggest you get the hang of PS because it does a better job. =D

Good luck on your next try I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

This is the fixed version. I've decided to just use photo shop. GIMP is giving me way to much trouble.

I find it a little bit boring, to be honest. I think you need something else in the background, to give it more depth. More color, or some brushing, or a c4d or two, something. You went from a background with way too much going on to one with the opposite problem. Just keep messing around with the various tools, you'll come up with something.

I also think you use too much text, but I'm just not a big text person. *shrugs*

Think i could get away with mirroring the wolf? Once i get that sig right then I'll start on more.

I mean mirroring as in, having two images that touch at the tales, facing away from each other.

Also i think i could just put little pigment dots of various light colors to make it gleam a little.

Eh, that's up to you. I personally wouldn't like that very much, but it'd at least fill some empty space. One thing, though, is that I wouldn't advise you to worry too much over any particular sig. Sometimes you're probably better off just scrapping it and starting fresh. (I'm not talking about this particular sig, just in general). I just make myself frustrated after a while, sometimes.
