    after i saw the latest movie : yugioh bonds beyond time, it got me thinking about making a rp for it.

    it'd be set like 100 years later after the events of Yusei and his friends. ( not counting the new zexal series. kinda think its stupid) i think setting it that far into the future would be giving us the ability to add onto the yugioh universe and do whatever the hell we want.

    i was also thinking maybe we could create our own cards which could make the rp more creative and fun and more challenging. i mean think abuot it. my ace card could be a duck who uses a boomerang shaped out of pizza to attack....ok well maybe not that ridiculou. just a thought though.

    also, im not sure whether or not to have the story take place in the Duel academy of New Domino city or just everyday life. Maybe both or the Duel monsters realm.

    How do you guys feel about this?? and be as honest as you can be ^_^

    ??? Zexal series? Huh? Anyways, I remember one yugioh roleplay that I was in; it never took off. As for the creating cards, I think not. I can tell that someone will start trying to create monsters card that are way too powerful. Also, it will be hard to do a roleplay on yugioh because the person can just try to play any card that they like. I doubt it.

    True. But i have another idea for this rp. what if all the characters were suddenly transported to the duel monsters realm and they were forced to partner up with a duel monster spirit? maybe make it into a survival game created by some twisted individual who obtained the power to manipulate reality. it would solve the pull any card they want problem cause you would only have one Duel monster spirit as a partner.

    Why not have it like Yugioh: Capsule Monster? That would be more better and more organized.

    hmm thats a pretty good idea. now all i gotta do is watch capsule monsters so i can do this.

    I'll be honest, I like the Spirit Monster's idea.
    It made more sense to me when I was watching through Gx.
    Which, I actually just got into Yugioh myself.
    But a Capsule monsters Rp?
    I thought that was like a 2 ep story line and died in the end in real life...

    Um... you are thinking of the one with Joey Vs Duke Devlin. Plus, that one was Dungeon Dice Monsters. The Capsule Monster was not a 2 episode series. It had way more episodes than that and it had an ending. You must have just watched two episodes and then stopped or maybe the show changed to a different channel without you knowing. I believe that this is more better and more organized. Just watch the show.
