Why didnt Sora and Co try borrowing the lamp

    always bugged me, why didnt Sora and company try borrowing the lamp, and WISHING to be reunited with kairi, to find king mickey, or whatnot.

    Because that would be selfish of Sora.

    The real answer is the rules in one world does not apply in others.

    Hee hee hee. Really wasn't going to work anyways. Besides, Aladdin had the lamp in his possession and not Sora and if Aladdin were to make a wishin Sora's place, then Genie will be gone for another 200 years. Kairi will just end up being captured again anyways.

    You can point out plot holes like this all day if you wanted to, but sometimes you just have to ignore some things for the sake of having any story at all.

    Hee hee hee. And with plot holes comes the exciting ideas of FAN FICTION! Yaaay fan fiction... but Sora borrowing the lamp just to make a wish to get back Kairi is just idiotic and she will get kidnapped.... again... and who knows if Genie's powers even work outside the realm of Agrabah for those who come from another realm (Even though the Genie told Aladdin that he can make a wish to get Jasmine back who is held hostage at Hollow Bastion).

    Even if Sora DID wish to be reunited with Kairi, she would have come back to him WITHOUT her Heart. I doubt Genie would have had the power to restore a person's Heart. So Sora would pretty much get back a vegetable of a human, and have to embark on the quest to restore her Heart.
