    STORY:

    Amaria, land of magic and mystery. The Great Bartimaeus, Arch Wizard and the king’s advisor, held great power. Amaria used to be a large kingdom, but it was split into 2 parts after a war had started between fellow Amarians, The Men of Southern and Eastern Amaria were the ones who rebelled. They wanted more freedom. So they revolted, causing the kingdom to divide. The men of the North and West are the true Amarians, they think their people have great amounts of freedom, The Men of the East and South are greedy and want to extent their borders and take over the land. In an effort to expand borders and to have more room for an economy, the King ordered Bartimaeus to use his great powers to create an island, in the middle of the sea which was at the heart of the Amarian kingdom, Bartimaeus did so, but even he was not powerful enough to control it’s great mass. It started rippling away the instant he made it. He had 2 towers created, at the Northern and Southern tips of the island, The Black Spire in the south, which held together what is called the Wisps of Existence, this is the most important tower. It keeps the island from disappearing. The White Spire, in the north, holds the gravitational pull on the island together, without it, the island would fly up in the sky. After many years, things seemed fine, but new races began breeding on the island, Elves, came from a distant land, they promised the Amarians they would take care of the spires but in exchange they wanted the island for a new home. The Amarians agreed. Then the Men of the South and East saw that the Amarians had new territory and took pigs and crossed pig blood with human blood, creating a new race, The Orc. They sent an army of Orcs to take control of the island, unfortunately for them, they only successfully took one small part of the island, but it was the area that connected the Black Spire area to the rest of the island, this was good for them, since now the Elves couldn’t send reinforcements if the Orcs decided to attack the spire. Then, the Men of the South took some orcs and some captive Elves and crossed their blood. Creating a half Orc, more intelligent and strong then the Orc, the Half orcs were called Trolls. They took another small part of the island near the Orcish territory. The Elves still had most of the territory. Then, another race of Elves “moved in” Dark Elves, the distant cousins of the High elves who controlled the island. The Dark Elves were Neutral and didn’t seem to really care about the ongoing war between Orcs, Trolls and High Elves, they only fought when they were defending themselves. In the same area as the Men of the East, another race decided to help the Elves. Dwarves, they don’t have any territory on the island, only next to it but they have small forces in High Elf Territory. Then another Neutral force came and took over the land connecting the rest of the island to the White Spire, Lizard men. They don’t seem to fight anyone unless people cross into their territory. The Men of the East and West still needed more armies, so they took Dark Elves and Crossed them with Orc blood, creating Goblins. The Goblins took a small part of the island in the northeast area. To take the North East TIP of the island, they needed a new force. They Took Goblin blood and crossed it with Troll blood, creating massive creatures, known as Ogres. They took the north eastern tip of the island. After around 20 years of War. A large rumor started of a group of islands in the sea surrounding the island, called the Moonspire Islands, on one of the Islands is a tower called the Moonspire, which some people say is like a Bermuda Triangle of sorts. There is another tower, used by the Elven Natives as a safe haven of sorts. Called the Sunspire. It is in the heart of the island and is very important to an extent, during the war for the White spire territory between the High elves and the Lizard men, part of the White Spire was damaged, and parts of the island flew into the sky. Specifically part of the city surrounding the White Spire, which is also the capital of the island. These floating islands were not completely useless. In fact, they built to Sunspire just to get to those islands, they used a magical artifact that’s basically a flying elevator. They use it to get to Cita’ Teralla-Cellods (Translated from Elven tongue as “City in the Clouds”)

    This rp will be pretty complex. So you will need to read ALL OF THIS to fully understand how to be in it. First off, you will create a character Known as a Hero, he will lead small armies into battle against the forces of evil. Note, in this rp, you can control 4 heroes at once. For each hero you have to build up an army of units at your fort. Which costs money, money can be gotten by trading or mining gold. Note, the race you’re hero is will start in that race’s territory. (Unless you’re a dwarf, in that case you can choose to start in dwarven country or High Elf country.) The map will tell you which races are good and evil. When two armies of the opposite alliance meet in one area, a battle begins. And that brings me to


    STAT COUNTS:

    Offense: Take how many units you have in an army and you have your attack count. The more units you have the higher the count, the higher the count the higher the chance of winning there is. Say you have 250 units total, your attack count is 250. If your enemy’s attack count is 200, the battle would be very close and prediction of who would win would be hazy. But the 250 would be predicted most likely to win. Same goes for defense. If you add walls to your fort, your defense count goes up by 100. So if you had 250 units in a fort, and you added walls, the defense count would go up to 350.

    Neutral Heroes:

    They do not fight for any alliance, but may freely choose which side to ally with, this will dramatically change the course of the story.

    Race Perks:

    Dwarves: They are masters of mining and weapon\armor smithing, therefore, the dwarven heroes and units have increased weapon damage and armor ratings. But they are slow (due to being short and chubby) so they are slower to swing, and run in battle. Reducing their attack count by 10

    Goblins: They are masters of stealth, so they can sneak up on enemy armies if possible. But they are weak and their homemade armor isn’t very good, reducing their armor rating by 15 and their attack and defense count by 10.

    Men of the North: They are excellent swordsmen. Increasing attack and defense count by 10 and all sword carrying units and heroes weapon damage go up by 15.

    Men of the West: They are High Class mages who can heal friendly units in battle. This is also where Bartimaeus is from. But they never wear armor so their armor rating is lowered by 15.

    Trolls: They are VERY strong and brutal. Increasing defense and attack count by 20. And increasing weapon damage by 5. Yet they don’t like wearing armor much because they are uncivilized, they usually wear no shirts at all. Reducing platebody-less units armor rating down by 15.

    Orcs: They are smart and crafty increasing attack and defense counts up by 25. But they are small and weak bringing armor rating down by 15.

    High elves: They are excellent mages and are more powerful then Men of the West, they can not only heal friendly units and heroes, but they are also completely untouchable by magic attacks. But they aren’t great with swords or armor. So defense and attack count goes down by 5 and armor rating goes down by 10.

    Men of the South: They are just like the men of the West

    Men of the East: Just like men of the North

    Ogres: They are giant half goblins, VERY strong increasing attack and defense count by 30. But they’re slow and bulky, decreasing speed and armor rating by 10.

    Dark Elves: They are amazing Archers, but aren’t good with melee weapons. All ranged Dark Elf units’ weapon damage go up by 5 and all armies with at least 10 battalions of ranged units attack and defense count go up by 35.

    Lizard Men: Very Tribal and uncivilized. They’re fast though increasing speed. But rarely wear good armor. They wear armor mostly made of Bones and Leather. Reducing armor rating by 10

    Dark Elves, Lizard men, Orcs, Trolls, Men of the South and East (By default) And Ogres

    Trolls:
    Dark Elves, Lizard men, Orcs , Men of south and east (default) Goblins and Ogres.

    Men of the South:
    Men of the East(Default) Ogres (Default) Goblins (Default) Trolls (Default) Orcs (Default) Dark Elves and Lizard Men
    Dwarves:

    High Elves, Dark Elves, Lizard Men, Men of the North, Men of the West.
    High Elves:

    THE RP MASTERS: (Yes I am getting this from dungeons and dragons but WHO CARES?)

    The RP masters are the admins of the rp. (So far only me and merlinosheep) They are the ones who decide about random events for your character and his army during the rp. Such as a wild animal encounter, they also can send rpers on quests for better armor and weapons for your hero and money. There can probably be a total of 5 RP masters, and they are permitted to have characters if they want. If you want to be an RP master you MUST ask me or merlinosheep.



    Rules: No godmodding. Keep EVERYTHING PG-13. One VERY important rule. You CANNOT act off anything an RP master tells you. This is hardcore roleplaying. If an RP master tells you something will be hard, you cannot like equip better armor or take 1, 0000 potions for your hero. You have to give the RP master a reasonable reason for doing something like that such as “Well if I’m going on a quest, there could be danger involved so I just wanna prepare.” Then you can do so. But don’t spam it just so you can have a better chance of getting through alive. This is hardcore roleplaying, so act as if you don’t even know it’s going to be hard. Another rule is to not kill other people’s heroes without talking to the person whose hero you wanna kill. Other RP rules apply.

    Cold, always keeps on his liar's smile to avoid technical difficulties within his ranks, rules with an iron fist.

    History:
    The son of the former King of the East. He grew up under strict rules, but avoided them tactically and grew up into the pokerface holding Ruler he is today. When his father died, he was the only enheritor of the throne and was quickly placed a crown upon his head.
    His father, the original king, did not have a need for more land or freedom in the least. But when Yacrest got on the throne, the empire started changing more drastically within the minute.

    Appearance: Indian color, long black and brown hair pointed ears, eyes change colors some time, tall 6'1 wears a cloak with hood that's green. does not wear amour but just leather.
    Personallity:cool headed, but really hardheaded, rushes in alot, but thinks about some killer traps. Loves to play hero but likes to be a villain too.
    History: A small breed that is small in size, he was always in the wrong place, part human and elf wasn't somehting he liked to be, he likes being human more but his speed and ears and strength is kinda hard to hide. Plus most humans dont use magic. Now he is in a war but with no sides he goes to who ever he likes, but really what he wants to do, is put the war in his hands and bend it too his rules. Can he do it?

    History: As his father past away on his death bed, Leonardo was given his father's swords. Along with these weapons came his father's powers (Past down by generation). Given the entire kingdom of the Men of the North, he has been placed with the largest burden of his life. The youngest of all kings in the entire history of kings, his expectations bear him down, but he bounces these worries off with a smile. A month after becoming king, his life was changed after learning of the actual history of the war's beginning. His grand goal of objective is to reunite the kingdom and maybe, just maybe, bring all nations together in peace.

    Ehh how are you a dark elf and a man of the north at the same time...? If your the king of the North you can't be allies with the dark elves, the dark elves are neutral and are not even allied with any other race.

He accepted that and went on to lead the armies of the West in an effort to help the High elves and his king
