Kane couldn't believe what had just happened to him. It had been a few days since he'd fought a man for Kana's life, and ended up losing her to a suddenly explosive burst of energy. The man had to have committed suicide, and taken his beloved with him. Kane has since been unable to pull himself out of his sorrow, and because of this his powers were greatly diminished. The agency that employed him had taken him off their active duty list in the hopes that maybe some rest would help Kane finish mourning. It wouldn't. Kana had been his entire world, and with her gone it was as if the sun had been taken from the sky.

Their was a knock on his door, and with a reluctant sigh he went to open it. Outside was a very unwanted cheerful face. The guy on the door step was built lean, and he wore a white jacket, pants, and black boots. "Hello their," he said cheerfully. Kane slammed the door in his face. "Aw come on, I just wanted to talk."

"Screw you and your talk. I don't want any of it, and least of all from you Zack."

"Now thats just cold. Here I was to give you some good news, and you go off and try to take out my nose with a door."

Kane sighed. "I take it you aren't going to leave until you say what you want."

    "Correct," came the cheery sound.

Kane sighed again, then opened the door. "What?"

"Aren't you gonna invite me in?"

"I'm contemplating taking your head off. Don't push your luck," he snarled back.

Zack shrugged, then turned Kane's world upside down. "Kana is alive."

Kane stood their for a few minutes, eyes wide in surprise. Finally he snapped out of it. "Bull. I felt her presence disappear in the explosion."

"She isn't here in this world, but she is alive."

"So what then? She went to heaven or something?"

"No. She is 'Alive' in a different world unlike this one. She has been taken across time and space to another dimension. That is what I meant."

    "And how do you know?"

Zack smiled. "Because the interloper that took your dearly beloved isn't the only one with the ability. I to possess that power."

"Humoring you. Why tell me this now?"

"I had hoped you would snap out of your funk and go back to business as usual. I wanted to see how important that girl is to you. Obviously she matters a great deal to you."

    "So you were testing me."

Zack ignore the statement and said, "You want to go after her?"

Kane smirked. "What do you think?"

"Then I have two gifts for you. The first is this," Zack held up a blue crystal. "This will allow you to keep in contact with me. The other is a first class trip to the one who holds more power than I."

"I thought you were sending me after this guy."

Zack shook his head sadly. "I don't know were he went, or if he moved on since. My power isn't that strong. There is one person though who can transcend dimensions. Her name is Yuko, and some call her the dimensional witch. Prepare yourself, the journey ahead will be harder than anything you've faced before."

Zack pulled a staff from behind his back, and used his other hand to drag Kane out of his house and into the lawn.

"Hey, what was that-" he broke off his sentence as seven large symbols appeared around him. The staff began to glow, and the symbols began melting together. A large magic circle appeared beneath him, and the inky white substance that was once the symbols began to surround him. His last view of Zack before he was completely obscured was of him smiling and waving good bye. After that, everything was white.

The sky was dark over the small shop run by the woman Yuko. She stood outside dressed in a black kimono, looking at it carefully. A young man walked up next to her and asked, "What are you looking for?"

"Not looking, Watanuki, waiting. Ah, there is one of them now."

The air began to feel charged, and a inky ball began to descend from the sky. It landed on the ground before the two, bulged, the burst apart to reveal Kane.

"Welcome. You are the first of my guests to arrive."

Two more balls appeared, and began to descend.

Dune was knelt down, next to his best friend and mentor, Fern. Or that was the name Dune always knew him by. The two where the only two alive, with Fern bairly holding onto life. Dune was fending off the creatures with his guns. The witch was on the other side of the room on her throne, with her cane laid on her lap, as though she was taunting them. The undead began to flood into the room at a fairly slow pace, still a good distance away from Dune and Fern. Fern tugs at Dunes cloak and Dune looks down to his bloody friend.

"W-we will make it through this... I promise." Said Dune.

"No, this fight is lost." Said Fern.

"Don't speak like that, I will get you out."

"No, no it is best to leave. If non of us survive who will become the new leader? It can only be you."

    "W-what about..."

"He will only be able to lead the people so far, your the only one who can do it."

    "But...!"

"I-I will get you out of here. You will meet a person that likes to go by the name Dimension Witch. She is in a black dress. She will help you get back to our world."

Tears began to flow from Dunes eyes before he blurts out "I will not leave you!"

Fern and Dunes eyes meet and Fern says "You must" Fern hands a pendent to Dune and stumbles to his feet. The witch began to laugh as the Undead gets meer feet away. Dune attempts to fight them back, but there is just too many. Fern Raises his hand to the air and a great light consumes the room. Dune closes his eyes from the bright light.

When Dune opens his eyes, he is in a white room with only Hm and Fern in the room.

"You will be a great king." Fern begins to fade away as a white goo consumes around Dune.

Dune's tears began to flow harder. He couldn't say anything till he saw Fern's body was almost gone. "Fern! Thank you for everything! I will be back to avenge you!"

Fern dissapears and Dune gets consumed.

~World 1, Tokyo City, The Home of the Dimensional Witch

The bubble busts and Dune falls to the ground. He lands on his feet, but he quickly falls to his knees. He continues to sob without noticing the witch and Kane.

"Alright, I think I found it." Gerik smiled, standing in an empty area. The area had several stones on the ground, each stone with an ancient rune. Gerik looked in his hand. The necklace once given to him some time ago. "I hope this one brings me home. If this all goes well, I'll be there soon LeAnn." Gerik put on the necklace and put it underneath his cloak, hidden from view. He was getting ready to activate the runes.

"Let me think... With this thing I've managed to help a friend, prevent a war between angels and demons, saved an angel from being captured and experimented on, and had a hell of a time while doing it. But I'm tired now and wanna go home." The runes began glowing. Their energy collected into a blue circle in front of Gerik. From the center of the circle, it rippled, like a drop of water landing in a larger body of water. "I hope this is home." Gerik spoke as he walked through the portal.

~World 1, Tokyo City, The Home of the Dimensional Witch

The ball Gerik was in landed on the ground. It burst, revealing the new location to Gerik.

    >Even though it probably doesn't matter, I don't plan on using those portals for the remainder of the RP. But I don't know how we're gonna travel about either. EDIT: Okay, I saw the episode you put up, so I know how we're gonna travel.<

    > =D GO MOKONA! I assume I know what your wishes are and I wanna get us on our way in one post so here goes. Tell me to edit if I'm wrong.<

"Greetings to all of you," Yuko said. "Welcome to my shop."

"What place is this?" Kane asked.

"This is Tokyo City Japan. You are all in a different dimension. I understand that this is a little difficult to grasp so I will try to keep it simple. You have been teleported across the dimensional plain to this place. Here I can grant any one wish though proper compensation must be made. Now tell me, what is your wish?"

"I want to see Kana and bring her home. She was taken to some other dimension and I aim to get her back," Kane replied.

"I want to get stronger and return home to free our world," Dune replied.

"Well," Gerik spoke, rubbing the back of his head, "I've been traveling for a while. I kinda wanna get home."

Yuko smiled, then said to the boy beside her, "Go fetch them. It is time they were used."

    "Yes ma'am."

As he hurried off into the store, Yuko strode forward and said, "While all of your wishes are different the Principal is the same. You all wish to travel to other worlds. This I can grant. However, the price is great. Are you all sure that this is what you want?"

    "Yes," they all answered.

"Very well. Then I shall collect your payment. From you," she points to Kane, "I will take your memories."

"MY WHAT?" Kane explained. "Specifically the recent ones of you and your beloved. You will only remember her from over a year ago, and not before then. Your feelings will remain or this would be a moot point, but you will lose all immediate reminders of her. You will have to take great pains to be sure and remember her."

"You mean I'll forget the whole reason I came here in the first place?"

"No. The feelings will remain and you will remember this meeting, but immediate memories of her will be gone."

Kane looked at the ground for a moment before looking up and saying, "I have to get her back, no matter the cost to me."

"Then let it be done." She held up her hand and the locket around Kanes neck floats to her. At the same time a silver thread shot from his temple and into the locket. Kane's eyes blanked for a moment, then he had to catch himself from falling.

"You have no clue how that feels woman," he snarls as he holds his head for a moment.

"Perhaps. And from you my friend," she points to Dune, "I will have that pendant of yours."

    "But this is to important!"

"That's exactly why I'm taking that from you."

He resigned himself, and took it off. "Fine." The pendant to went to Yukos hand above the locket.

"FInally, your price is your necklace. It posses great meaning, and it is that which will be your price."

Gerik thought about it quietly for a moment. "This is important. After all LeAnn gave this to me. But then again, if I get home I can see her again." Gerik wordlessly tosses it to her without complaint. "Fine. If that's my ticket home."

The young man returned holding to creatures. Both were identical accept that one was white with a red gem set on its head, and the other was black with a blue gem. Both looked like rather fat rabbits.

"Good, you found them," Yuko said, holding out her free hand for the white one. Turning back to her guests she said, "These are known as the Mokona Moragi. This one here will be the one to take you across worlds. However it can not choose the destination and so only fate will be able to decide what world you end up in. It will be a very long journey. You will see people that you may know from your world living different lives in another. They will not know you. You will have to trust in each other in order to succeed in this journey."

"And what about that black one over there?" Kane asked.

"This one will allow me to communicate with you. Through him we can continue our transactions in case you come to a point were you need my help or vice versa. He will stay with me and be linked to the white Mokona. Are their any more questions?"

    The three shake their heads.

"The go. Take care my friends, and you two little one."

Mokana jumped from Yukos hand, and began to glow. "Mokona Morogi ready to go," it said cheefuly. Two white wings extended from its back and a small magic circle suddenly appeared on the ground. It then opened it's mouth and rainbow colored tendrils shot from its mouth and surrounded the three. After that Mokona sucked them into its mouth, and with a last, "Good bye," jumped into the circle and vanished.

~ World 2, Reifon, The Land of Spite ~

This new world was black and ragged. The sky was over cast and the land was surrounded in dead life. Two encampments were established on either side of the large field. Suddenly, a ball appeared and drooped to the ground. It burst apart to reveal the three travelers. "Hooray, we've ended up in a new world!" Mokona exclaimed happily from atop Kane's shoulder.

Kane eyed both encampments. "Something tells me you could have picked a better landing spot. What do you guys think?"

Still a bit shocked from the weird ride that he just got off. Though Dune quickly regains his stature and shakes off the creeped out feeling that can only come from being in anothers mouth. He turns to Mokona and says "That was quite possibly the weirdest and most trippy ride ever...Can't wait to do that again!" He then pats Mokona on the head.
Dune stops playing with Mokona and quickly looks around. "Crap!" He exclaimed "Where are we? doesn't look good where ever it is..." Shutters for a moment as he looks at both sides. "I can't really tell much of a difference between the two."

"Got that ride. Looks like a war zone or something. Check out all the burned out patches on the ground, and the arrow pieces littering the place. This is not a good place for us to be. I vote we high tail it out of here," Kane watched Mokona hop onto Dune's shoulder. Apparently the thing was fond of him. "Well we can't go to the next world yet," Mokona said. "I need to rest between jumps. Besides maybe what you guys are looking for is in this world. It can't hurt to look."

"Well I didn't mean go to the next world. I just meant go someplace other than here before-" Kane was cut off by a horn sounding from the northern encampment. A second horn sounded from the other and both camps opened their gates disgorging soldiers and horsemen onto the plains. "That happens," Kane finished with a sigh.

"Hey Mokona." Pets him again, then looks at the point of reference stated by Kane. "wow, I think this would be a good time to unsheathe our weapons... or run. But by the looks of it, unsheathing seems like the more preferable or likely option." Gets in a stance and has his hand on the handle of his sword. "I just hope they notice we aren't apart of either of them before they start fighting." Gets a little fidgety from either anxiety or fear...or both. "Before this gets extremely hairy, Mokona, what Exactly are we looking for?" He looks at Mokona loosing some of the Fidgetiness he had before, but never getting the thought that he could become a shish-ka-bob at any moment.

Gerik looked at Mokona, seemingly oblivious to the land surrounding him. "You are an interesting bunny-thing. How do you warp us to these world? I mean, I am able to teleport, but not to different worlds." Gerik then noticed the two armies on opposing sides. "Oh hey, lookit that." Gerik looked at Dune. "As fun as fighting sounds, I don't like the idea of fighting random armies without knowing why they are fighting. I suggest we leave now. And hey, I can cloak us." Gerik tilted his head to the right, then the left. He quickly stretched his arms. "Alright. Sandstorm." Gerik's eyes glowed a golden amber. The winds around them began to pick up. Behind them a dark cloud appeared, moving towards them. Their bodies were soon cloacked by the sandstorm Gerik created. Gerik also kept the sand out of their eyes.

"Okay." Gerik spoke before they started walking. "So you're looking for the woman you love. I kinda understand what you're feeling." He said to Kane. "And you need to free your home." He spoke to Dune. "Since I don't have trouble like you guys, I can wait until I get home. So I'm fine with either of you guys calling the shots. So lead the way."

"I for one do not want to end up drawing a weapon. If we do both sides will think we fight for the other. It would be a rought battle, and not a very survivable one. I vote we get out of here while this storm is still here."

It was, Kane thought, a good thing I learned how to block projectiles. Sand included.

"Also, making a sand storm from know where when I don't see a grain of sand in sight is probably a bad idea. They no doubt think we are wizards or the equivalent now. Each side probably wants us on their side, and fighting battles like this are such a pain." Still, just in case. Kane held out his right hand careful to keep it palm out and not palm up. "Shimmer, Rai," a silver katana appeared in his hand. "Just in case a freak tornado comes along and takes out your sandstorm," he said to Gerik. "Also I don't mind getting help from you if you don't mind giving it."

"I'm always happy to make new friends, but I don't know if this is the right time for it. I'm fairly sure they have noticed us by now, and I think he..." Points at Kane "...makes a good point. This is not something we want to get involved with." Looks around at the sandstorms walls and then looks at Gerik and says "Is there any way to make the storm a little more transparent so we can see what is happening out there?"

Mokona jumps on top of Dune's head and looks around. "Mokona will be a look out!"

Dune looks up at mokona as he jumps up on his head. He only uses his eyes so that he doesn't knock mokona off by accident. After Mokona finishes talking Dune says "Mokona, you are so funny."

    >So like Fay. You scare me.<

Kane thought about it more a moment, then said, "Lets go that way. If I recall correctly that way leads away from both armies. We find a look out to observe the battle from while we plan our next move," and with that, like it or not, Kane started off in the direction he'd indicated, praying his sense of direction didn't get him into trouble.

It was about then that several arrows came flying down through the storm. He could sense their passing through the wind, and reacted without thinking. The sand warped around him as he gather the wind into a bubble, then blasted it outward. The arrows were sent soaring away, his traveling friends were rocked on their feet, and, more importantly, the sand storm was blown away. He found himself having gone in the opposite direction he'd thought he was going in. Instead of heading away, he'd gone right smack dab in the middle of the two armies. Every man in both armies was staring at him. "Oh shit."

"So much for that." Gerik muttered as he placed a hand on one of his swords. "In case you were wondering, I could see perfectly through the sandstorm. I was gonna get us to a safe distance." Gerik looked around. Sand from the sandstorm was strewn about the battlefield. "Well, I could try teleporting us away from the area. But I've never been good at group teleportation. If you guys want, I can hold them off while you guys get away." Now the group was standing back to back, surrounded by the armies. "Once we get out of this, we should probably explain to each other what we can do. It'll help with some battle strategies."

    >Plot twist!<

"I doubt they'd be all that interested in just one of us," Kane replied to Gerik. "I think we're going to just have to fight it out. To bad, I was thinking this journey would be fun." He settled himself into a defensive stance with his blade angled across his chest. Inside he prepared himself for death as he knew that he could never stop them all.

"AT LAST! THE PROPHECY!" both sides shouted. They swarmed around everyone, and lifted them up on their shoulders. It was then that Kane realize that they had the same uniform on, and their weapons were quiet similar to each other, as if made at the same place as opposed to being made by a separate military. "Wait, what prophecy?"

"What the fu--" Gerik spoke in surprisement. "I really hope that this prophecy isn't based on random strangers suddenly appearing with a talking fuzzy--- thing." Gerik turned and grabbed Mokona. "What are you anyways? A rabbit? Or a rather large gerbil?" Gerik looked onwards as the group carrying them moved on. He saw a town coming up on the horizon. "Even though they cheered about a prophecy, I really hope they aren't going to boil us alive or something." The town got closer and closer. "By the way, if you don't mind me asking." Gerik spoke to one of the soldiers around him. "Where are we?" The whole time they were being carried, Gerik was holding onto one of his swords without noticing it. He loosened his grasp on the weapon.

"Hey!" Swat's Geriks hand away and then gently grabs Mokona, who is now on his chest, and keeps him from falling off. "Don't be so mean to Mokona...thats not a bad question. So Mokona what are you, exactly?"

Mokona looks at Gerik and says "Mokona want you to guess. It funny to watch."

"...Anyways, I doubt they are wanting us for some kind of sacrifice. That would be a little weird, considering the circumstances. From the looks of it, this is all just a civil war of sorts. I've only read about this kind of thing. Not many people want to kill other people where I'm from, so literature was my last resort. Kept away some boring nights." Looks at them both and then smiles an chuckles a little "This probably isn't the best time to start rambling." Waits and listens to the soldier that Gerik just asked, to find what the mans answer is.

"A prophecy? What the hell kinda prophecy would involve us?"

One of the soldiers over heard him. "Its the prophecy of the three strangers. It is said that three strangers able to wield powerful magic will come and save us from a terrible creature, the black dragon."

A hell no. I am NOT fighting a great big dragon. That's just to much work. First chance I get I'm out of here.

Kane let his sword fade away while he began making plans to escape. While was thinking the party was taken into the large encampment. Inside was a village complete with women and children. Something wasn't right though. While the children played, the women would keep looking to the sky, and would stay close to their kids, as if something might carry the kids away. Something tells me my concionce will get mad at me for leaving this unsettled. Ugh. Resigned, he began making plans to help these people instead. "How do you guys think we will go and kill this dragon thing?"

"Awesome. Fighting a dragon." Gerik smiled, envisioning the challenge. "To answer your question, it all depends on the type of dragon. One of the worlds I've explored contained many dragons. There were golden dragons, green dragons, red dragons, black dragons, shadow dragons, ghost dragons, zombie dragons, skeleton dragons, wyrms. You get the point. We shouldn't have to worry too much unless the black dragon we're supposed to fight is like the black dragons on that other world. Those black dragons were one of the most powerful creatures on the world. The only creature that matched their strength were the titans, and those two creatures absolutely hate each other."

Gerik grabbed the pouch of sand on his belt and opened it up. With his free hand, he held it over the bag. All of the sand floated out of the bag. Gerik twisted his hand so the palm of his hand was facing upwards. The sand began to form itself into a miniature dragon. "This is what the black dragons looked like on that world. Dragon scales themselves are incredibly tough. Most of the scales are only as strong as mythril, but black dragons from that world are a step above that. Some of them are as tough as adamantium, others not quite as tough." The sand went back into the pouch and Gerik put it back on his belt. He laughed a little and put his hands behind his head. "But I'm not worried. After all, he just said we're the ones part of the prophecy to save these people. If this prophecy is true, then we're gonna defeat this dragon."

    >The dragon he made looks like a western-style dragon.<

    >Its a european type. I think they are similar.<

One of the soldiers looked at the miniature. "It is much like that one, but broader in the chest. Also it's scales seem to shine as if metalic flecks were stored in them. None of our weapons could harm it, and all of our wizards have failed to defeat it. To be honest I don't think anyone can kill it. If you could simply lock it away for a long time that might suffice."

Kane shook his head at this idea. "It would escape eventually. Then your future descendants would have to deal with it. After such a long period of time they wouldn't even believe in its existence. We either kill it, or die in the attempt. Also dragons get some of their power through flight. If a dragon tries to take off when I'm around," Kane picked up a feather from a some crow, and held it above his hand. A minature whirlwind formed above his palm, and he dropped the feather into it. The feather disintegrated when it touched the whirlwind. "He'll find that he's missing a pair of wings." he completed.

Kane looked at his two companions. "We've already established that you are a master of sand manipulation," Kane nodded towards Gerik, "and I am quite good with bending the air. That coupled with my other abilities is a good combination. However, I have to wonder what you can do." Kane pointed towards Dune. "I haven't seen a display of your power yet."

    >I think the European dragons are the Western kind. The basics I've heard are that there are Western and Eastern dragons, the Eastern ones being Chinese dragons.<

"More towards the earth in general." Gerik thought to himself. "I just hope I won't have to resort to my last spell. That stuff hurts every time I use it. And since I've got the breaks in between uses, I'd rather save it for a worse situation." He turned to Dune. "Yeah, we need to know what you can do to think up some strategies. As fun as it is running into a situation blindly, I'd rather not. The last time I did that I ended up fighting to prevent angels and demons from going to war." Gerik noticed a bit of puzzlement on several people's faces. "Long story." Gerik surveyed the surrounding lands. "The most obvious place for the dragon to be is on that mountain over there in the distance. But then again, there's the possibility that it is a cavernous dragon. Are there any caves on this world?"

    >Are we on the ground right now? I'm going to act as though we are.<

"Fighting a Dragon. The sound of that is a big nerve racking I'll admit. But that's probably just because of how most cultures build them up." Closes his eyes, thinking as Mokona gets up on his head.

"Mokona think it would be cute to see a Dragon." Mokona said with an aura of happiness.

Dune looks up at him dumbfounded, but not really registering the comment to deeply. He then turns to Kane and Gerik, remembering the question that was previously asked of him. "My powers? Nothing much, really. They originated from my weapons, originally, but after using them so much I gained access at all times. Except for my Daggers powers. Those are more recent. Oops! I haven't even explained it yet." He points at his sword first "This one is just a broad sword, but it has a magic coat on it creating an electric charge. I have found a few things to do with it, but most only with the sword." He then moves his cape back a bit, showing one of his two bone and steel pistols. "My two pistols have an elemental engraving in each at the end of the barrel..."Upon looking closer, it is just a barrel, a handle, and a trigger. " One is Fire, and one ice. Each shooting there respective elements, also giving me the power to deal with a small amount of ice and fire damage." He then shifts his body to reveal one of the two hidden daggers on his legs. " This one of the two poison daggers, which can let me use poison when I wield them. I very rarely use them." He throws his cape back in order. "I am working on becoming a weapons master...but I keep failing my current test. I'll get it sooner or later." Laughs a little and cheerfully continues to walk.
