A challenge to anyone who wants a fight. In this battle, we will both be alowed to have such incredible power that if it weren't only for this, we would be banned for godmodding. This will take place in a place full of only light and darkness at first (The Empty Cavities), though we can fly and make certain parts solid or liquid or whatever. We will also be able to create and move through realms. You can choose which of the gods in the backstory, I'll take the other. Backstory:
In a realm, both having been gone for millions of years and not having been even born yet, were two great deities. One chose to build realms full of a great beauty, filled of light. The other filled theirs with darkness, an equal beauty, but very different. They were, for many million years, completely separate. But one day, a world of darkness drifted very close to a world of light, and the citizens of the world of darkness were blinded by the light while those of light were driven insane by not being able to understand the darkness. Now the two Deities want revenge, and will kill eachoth to get it.
WILL POST PROFILE AFTER YOU CHOOSE LIGHT OR DARKNESS.

His name? It was something that wasn’t commonplace, when one considered what a name was. Many beings would find themselves well off with a given name such as “Clark” or “Kate.” But for him, it boils down to something very different, something well beyond the implications of personal identity or a mark by which others could recognize him. His was symbolic not only of the self, him as a solitary being, but of a notion, an entire realm, and a vast number of people whom lived in that realm, and existed by what of that notion. This is for the single reason that he is not simply a being, but a notion, a realm, and an entire people in and of himself. And so, he adorns himself with the name that has been thrust upon the entirety of his domain: Darkness, or, for the sake shorthand, Dark.

His age? Dark, in essence, is someone, or rather, something, that holds the respect of being equaled in lifetime by but one: The one upon whom the Light is gifted. And to that note, he is outstripped only by the nothingness, or totality that was in being prior to the origins of his age. In his mind, he’s been in form for an eternity, though he recognizes that there had to have been another, or maybe many others that pre-existed him. Regardless, he honors himself as being amongst the oldest beings to exist, and one of the most lasting forces.

His gender? While it’s been asserted thus far that he is of definite sexual makeup, the truth is that he could become a she at just about any moment they choose. It is, however, their preference to appear before their masses in the visage and voice of a male.

His appearance? Being that he is unbound by the physicality that non-deity beings must adhere to, he remains unaffected by the limitations of holding a single consistent appearance. He can appear as anything or anyone he desires to. One day, he might feel the fancy of being a massive spider. On other days, the form of a bird might be the look that best tickles his interests. However, it is in his default to appear as male human, though the looks of this figure vary based upon his mood and the necessities in which he finds himself when he chooses to appear amongst others. His truest of forms is one that is seen quite often in the Darkness, as it is Darkness itself, a formless, shifting and changing mass of midnight black material that has no discernible substance.

His personality? A deity. How does one go about defining him in human terms? He is one beyond the power, ability, and knowledge of other beings around him. As deity, Dark is in a conflicting nature of persona. He places himself far above the others in the Darkness, holding himself in an almost total isolation from the vast majority of his civilizations. He’s arrogant in his power, and his wisdom as the Darkness is concerned, and often feels scornful of his people. However, his isolation breeds the forlorn feelings of depression and rage with his own self. Despite his scornful view of his domain and its people, he can’t help but love them as his own seed (for in essence, they are of his own seed). These qualities have created instability in his persona. He remains, to this day, revered, feared, and even loathed, even by those he might truly care for.

His power? The clincher of his being, as it were! This is the very thing that makes him a deity, and not just some other random user. He is not only a practitioner of dark arts and manipulating that, which lies beyond the Light. He is now, and has been for some time, the embodied essence of what is Darkness. It is through his graces that the morbid, macabre, and simply misunderstood practices of magic, amongst other powers, have come to bridge down from the higher beings to even the lowliest of peons. Powers dealing with corruption, destruction, consumption and deception fall into the vastness of his powers, though he is truly limited only by what he capable of manifesting from his realm of influence. His domineering prowess over Darkness is left unequaled by any that walk the mortal realms, and is threatened only by a handful of those who stand amongst the lesser deities. In the cosmic theory of his power, he could bend the entirety of his realm firmly against a single being upon a whim, a feat manageable by that fact that he effectively IS his realm.

His weapon? A rather vague question in the long run, considering that Darkness is not limited to but a single weapon. Darkness can manifest from the reality of his realm whatever device he sees fit for a given circumstance. However, it is not a limitless system that he follows. In order to conjure a weapon from his namesake, he must have a firm understanding of what the weapon is he wishes bring forth. This goes for both the weapon in its physical appearance, as well as the weapon in its metaphysical capacities. So long as he knows what the weapon he desires looks like, and has a clear-cut understanding of what he wishes it to do, he can manifest it.

His story? His is the same story that Light has, albeit on the opposite pole of existence. Darkness sprung into a finite being upon the first instance of Light and Darkness themselves being introduced to being. In response to his existence, and the obvious disparities that erupted between it and Light, Darkness opted, in a simultaneous motion with its sibling force, to forge a realm dedicated entirely to its own essence. The new realm sprung into being in a cosmic instant, and Darkness, the sole resident of that plane, proceeded to mold and shape into a habitable place, fuming with a life all its own. From the very first beings of Darkness, the new realm flourished in a separate, but interdependent timeline with that of Light. This harmony lasted for eons, a count of years that Darkness itself can’t even recall the exact number for.

But even so, Darkness and Light were meant from the start of it all to be at constant odds with each other. Yet at the same time, it was their nature, it seemed, to attract to one another, and achieve balance and union. Thus, the realms of Darkness began drifting ever closer to their edges. Eventually, in an age more recently etched into history, Darkness and Light saw the first of what was likely to be many collisions. At first, Darkness was willing to allow the collision to pass as a freak accident. After all, what was he supposed to have done? Sever the bond between Light and Darkness? It was a laughable notion at best. But then, there came the conflict, The people of Darkness and the people of Light crossed one another in the collision, sparking a violent feud, unaware of the truth behind what they had experienced. It was too much for Darkness to see his people being accused of treachery, and to see them throwing back. Certain that his counterpart was in the same mood, he opted to meet with them, upon the joining between their two realms.

NOTE: it is not a mistake that I often say a mix of "He" "She" "him" and "her". He is all of these, so she must be called such.

The Name: For a being like him to have a true name would be a very silly notion indeed. Only petty spirits have true names. But like his other, a far different being, he goes by a name fitting of what he is. In the language of english he would be light. In ancient languages, some far closer to his true nature than anything in a modern language like english, he could be Lucinus in Latin. Or also Lampsi in greek. But the fact remains that that is not a true name, it is a concept, a hint at that which is both cherished by those who dwell in light and hated by the lurking darkness.

The Age Lucinus, as we shall call the being for simplicity's sake, does not truly believe it has an age. His worlds have been growing for all eternity. Time it's self didn't exist before the god did, for his realm is simply an idea of her's that he fuels with the infinite reserves of power he has within his grasp. He could fuse his realms to the point of being one incredible world, or she could create a limitless amount of worlds with barely any work put in, but he would not do this without an eternity of consideration (such amounts are like an hour to him, but he can think on a basis of about 900,000,000,000 times the population of all her worlds could combined in a few million years, and do it in a millisecond. However, all of that is only a particularly strong subconscious, his true consciousness is only around 10 times that of his worlds on the same million year to a second scale. Thus, he can make mistakes.).

The Gender Can you say that the sun exists any more for a man than it does for a woman? It does not, and as so he takes both forms. He takes that of a woman on the few times when he addresses his public, but when he talks to people personally he will take the opposite sex of his son or daughter.

The Personality Light has much the personality of the classic god referenced in holy books on earth. He is kind, caring, and loves all her children. But he is their mother, and he will not hesitate to punish those who misbehave. If one of her sons or daughters murder, then he will personally come down and bring them to the prison realm of Nigrum-ignem

The power: What could you call it, besides the very fabric of existence? He controls light magic, the arts of all that which is cherished, to the point that it is his very being. He controls all within his realm, and all besides that which is arguably the darkness. He can create whatever he wants, but the more he knows about it the harder it is to make. With all his subconscious power he does well at crafting new innovations. Be it an egg that spews blades when you lick it or a pig that weighs six hundred trillion pounds but is light as a feather to it's owner, you can be sure his weapon will be unique.

The Weapon: He uses his powers of creation to create new weapons all the time, but he has one other. A world condensed into a single point, with so many tiny but well crafted humans on it that it has more intelligence in it alone than the rest of his worlds combined. He uses their consciousness to shape it into any form he wants WITH a conscious design, but is limited by the consciousness of her servants, and thus it will usually be something simple and bland like a sword or axe. Any magical properties it has must come from his own power, and are thus mostly uncontrollable. The only set thing about what his consciousness could imbue is that it will be a good thing, as that is how his mind operates.

The story Light has had a very close experience to darkness. Their worlds have been entirely separate, until now. Everyone was happy except for those inside his prison realm. The dark beings had a great feud, and nobody was sure who to blame, so now he has sought out Dark and seeks to meet him. But before that...
Light cannot remember a time when he was less than she is now. He remembers no beginning to his memory, something quite odd. His memory seems to go on infinitely.
