Those Who Defy Fate (Actual RP)

(OWDF HQ)

Ide sat alone in his room, the lights were off and he sat writing a story by light sent from the flame he ignited on his fingertip. This was his greatest joy in life, crafting plots and characters in solitude. Here, he wasn't forced to be someone he truly wasn't in his writing he could express his imagination and create worlds where he had full control. rather than rely on the "fates".

When he decided he had writen enough for the day, Ide snuffed the flame, got up and went to check on Daisuke and Itsuki.

 

(Getting out of Jail)
It was the first time she had seen the sun in months, it was warm as her skin soaked up every ray of sunlight. The breeze was blowing her hair into her face and it smelled like spring, like flowers and freshly cut grass. She stopped to take this all in, almost forgetting about her real intentions. She looked back, they were gone for now. Her breathing slowed down a bit and the sweat on her brow dried. She kept walking not really knowing where she was, as long as she was far away from any cops or guards. Finally after hours of walking she came to a tall building hidden from the rest of the world. It was the OWDF HQ.

2 Years Later
(OWDF HQ)
Colbie opened her eyes and groaned, the sun had woke her up by shining right in her face. She rolled over to look at the clock a little past noon. Overslept again she thought to herself as she jumped out of bed to put some clothes on and do her hair. She decided she would do some training today since her fighting skills were starting to get a little rusty. She walked in to see Daisuke already in there.
"Mind if I join?," She asked "I've been needing to practice some more."

 

"Alright, I would be happy to look after him." She smiled, even though it was just an excuse to not train. She really needed to stop being lazy. "What kind of mission are we talking about?" She tilted her head as she asked.

 

"Alright, I will." She nodded and looked around. "Where is your brother anyways?"

 

Running from police

240 ran and ran and ran. the trip seemed to get longer every time. His maker forgot to give him speed, though he didn't forget strength. 240 picked up a truck and tossed it. that would give him time to run.

5 minutes later (OWDF HQ)

240 got in. They didn't catch him this time. he dropped the supplies and walked over to the wall. he opened his knee and plugged himself in. Ugh he thought. I hate being a robot.

 

(OWDF HQ: training room)

Ide walked through the door to the training room.

"Good to see you chief," he said to Daisuke. as he walked into the room "Colbie, always a pleasure, what's the lowdown on the SND? have they made any bold moves yet?"

(meanwhile at the SND HQ)

Anderson walked down a hallway leading to the command center. he heard that a rouge android had been pursued by police. he wanted to know if it had any connections to the accursed OWDF. at the end of the hallway the command room door opened with a low swish.

"Give me an update!" he declaired.

 

(OWDF HQ)

240 walked to his room. it had a few power outlets a laptop on a desk, a cabinet full of oil, a leather recliner (robots need to rest too), and a flatscreen. he turned on the tv to watch himself. he knew he would be on. the woman on the news kept calling him an "android". robot. said 240 angrily. he saw himself blasting the cops with plasma, and would've laughed if he could as they went flying into the air. the raid had gone well. food, weapons, ammo, the works! someone walked into the room and he turned to see who it was as he sat on the recliner.

 

(SND HQ)
Stella was working on some paperwork when she heard her bosses request. She quickly got up and began speaking to him. "Sir, the Android was chased by police but unfortunately we lost track of him." She said the last part quietly, knowing that Anderson would be mad about that. "Right now we don't know if it had any connections with the OWDF."

 

(SND HQ)
Anderson grew impatient. though he would not kill Stella just yet, her fate was to live for a while longer.

"That android was un-registered, it's maker must have denied the destiny he was assigned. So either it's maker or the android itself has a connection with the OWDF. I want that thing found ASAP! Do I make myself clear?" He stroad to the computer. and stared blankly into space.

 

(SND HQ)
"We believe that the robot indeed does have a connection with the OWDF, I will work on sending some guards to go look for it." She looked over to see her boss staring into space probably not even listening to her. "Sir?"

 

(SND HQ)
"yes, I heard you. I want a message to be sent to any and all news choppers. I want them to keep an eye out for our little android friend, and if he is sighted, i want it reported to us at once. the sooner we find this thing the better. We cannot allow the OWDF to exist much longer. They will destroy the peace and stability we have worked so hard to acheive!"

 

"Alright, Sir, I will go alert them now." She went back to her desk and prepared to call every news station in the city after about 10 minutes she finally put down the phone and yelled over her shoulder. "They are all on the lookout right now and will call back if they find anything. The news has also let the public know to watch out for this Android and if anyone sees it they will let the police know."

 

seeing that no one was there 240 stood up and walked to the cabinet. he greased his joints and made a mental note to fix the door. he was tired of sitting and flipped off the tv.

5 minutes later, town

240 arrived and checked to see that his hands were working. I may need that plasma. he thought, casually strolling down the sidewalk.

 

OOC: kinda annoyed that Ide was left hanging, so I can only post as Anderson for the time being.

IC: From the communications Hub, there came a set of short beeps. Anderson picked it up.

"This is Anderson, what's the problem?" he asked.

"Sir, someone just reported seeing the android we put out the APB for. He's in town now." came the voice at the other end.

"Perfect, I want every available police and federal officer to get on site NOW! bring this thing in to the SND HQ for questioning. Am I clear?"

"Perfectly, sir. consider it done." said the voice.

 

240 was surrounded, but he didn't care. The titanium alloy he was made of had a habit of blocking incoming bullets. He used his plasma to blast back the policemen,luckily, the officers that the government had running the city weren't worth a week's rations. As more and more troops began to roll onto the scene, 240 cursed his maker for failing to program him, with a "cease battle and get the hell outta there" function.

"Nice to see you Ide," Colbie replied as she was putting on her lucky gloves that she always trains with. "I need to check the update for the new mission," she told everyone as she was walking away.
