    Alright this thread is gonna help me and others with swap magic and what version u need, how to use it ,etc. So my first questions are:

    which one would i buy for a original ps2?

    Where can i buy it?

    I've heard that u need to buy more than 1 thing to get it to work on a u.s. ps2. Is that true?

    Oh and what are the essential materials u need for it?

    1.swap magic 3.6 american
    2.the giant store, or just google it
    3.yes, you need a flp top (thick), slide card (thick), or a mod chip (thin)
    4.total= one swap magic 3.6 american, 1/3 magic swap tools (/\), and expirence with technical instructions..........

    ok so im not getting a mod chip so scratch that out. oh and will it let me use my gameshark? or do i need coder for that?

    yes, i will let you use your gameshark as well as any other disc you have for your ps2. you can however use the swap magic coder disc......if you wish.

    nah but does swap magic run like a gameshark where u put the disk in then u put in the game u want to play? and what is better flp top or a slide card? and what is the total cost? as long as everything cost less than $100 ill be happy

    yes, it is 20$, but it is a cool deal, they used to be 35$!

    how much is a flp top/ slide card? and which ones better and easier to work with?

    well, at the giant store, you can get the flip top along with the dics for 30$ ^
