    The Triforce Generations

I'm sure that many of you are familiar with the story of the Triforce, the wise princess, the powerful king, and the courageous boy who saved Hyrule from an evil beyond this world. Its been years since Midna, Zelda, and Link parted ways. Since then, Link married Ilia and they had one son. Zelda also got married and they had a daughter. No one is sure what became of Midna. She hasn't had contact with the light world since she destroyed the Mirror of Twilight. On Link's son's 16th though, something strange happened. A strange dark power spread through Ordon Village. Most of the villagers have been transformed into monsters, and Link was transformed back into his wolf form. Meanwhile, back at Hyrule Castle Town, a mysterious man broke into the castle, kidnapped Queen Zelda, and killed the King. Their daughter managed to escape with her life, but no one is sure what happened to her after that. She has been missing ever since that night. The fate of Hyrule has been passed down to a new generation. Will that be enough to save us all?

Ben looked around the corner, catching sight of the baker. Quietly, he stepped around the corner and started walking forward. He planned to take a piece of bread and be gone by the time the baker noticed. Just when he got close and stuck his hand out, someone grabbed his shoulder. Ben immediately spun around and punched the person, thinking it was a guard. It was actually his friend, John. John backed up, holding his face.
"Ouch! Ben, what was that for?" he asked, clutching his face. Ben shrugged.
"You know better than to sneak up on me. I thought you were a guard."
John shook his head. "It never fails with you Ben. But look, I have to tell you something. Nalia is missing."
Ben's heart stopped at that. Nalia... "Are you sure? What happened?"
"Someone broke into the castle. No one knows who it was. But he killed the King and Queen Zelda was kidnapped. They think he took Nalia as well, but no one is sure. You need to leave though. The guards know about the both of you."

Pain... That was all Kaiden felt as he soared through time and space. A part of him had been blasted when he fought against the Chosen Three and was defeated. Now, Kaiden kept on going. He could not control his direction. Finally, he came to in a soft green meadow. Kaiden opened his eyes, or what he thought were eyes, and looked around. The meadow was familiar to him. He heard a man walking down a path to the right of him. Smiling, Kaiden drifted over to the man and possessed him. When he was done, Kaiden cracked his neck. It was time for him to figure out where he was.

"Ok. Hold up hands and concentrate on fire. Should be easy." Bando set down the book and held his hands in front of himself. He closed his eyes and thought of nothing but fire. As he did he cracked one eye open, to notice that there was no fire. He closed his eye and concentrated harder, his face showing some strain. He opened his eyes and still no fire. "Oh man. I guess I'm not cut out for the magic stuff. Oh well. Still keeping the book though, I'll just try and fail again later." He picked up the book and put it in a little pack next to him before standing up and swinging the pack around his shoulder. He also picked up a large sword and slung it over his back. Bando took a quick look around to remember where he was. Oh yeah, by the bridge of Eldin. Well I may as well head to Kakariko. Bando began to walk off, the sun just beginning to rise for a new day.

How could it be so dark with so much fire? Every breath felt worse than the last, I was suffocating!
    "Nalia!" I heard someone call.
"Mom!? Mom where are you!?" I tried to call and my voice sounded foreign to me, trying to speak through a sandpaper throat it hurt to try to speak and I gave up. I heard voices and screams. How long had I been wandering around in the burning castle? Where was everyone?
"Nalia!" I heard her yell again and then she was behind me. My mother looked unaffected by the fire, surrounded by an aura of light. I thought that she might have the power to stop whoever it was that was threatening us but I was wrong. She looked terrified "Nalia, you have to get out of here..." my mother was saying as she grabbed my sholders, looking to be sure I was unharmed. Before I had the chance to answer, she gasped her eyes wide and then she fell, her grip on my amrs growing slack and she fell to her knees. I could see a steel dart in her back and I think thats when my shock started. My mother looked up at me and I could see magic forming around her hands but I was too shocked and confused to know what she was doing until it was too late. She muttered something under her breath and I heard the words "farore.." and "wind" before everything went black...

"Ahhhhhhhh!" Nalia screamed, as her eyes flew open. For a long while she just lay there, it was dark and the ground under her was wet. She didn't know where she was and the memories of the dream she had just had left a pit in her stomach and a bad taste in her mouth. She slowly sat up, seeing her hands and arms decorated with ash and dirt she was sure her hair and face looked much the same. She still couldn't believe what had happened. Her father's face was still so vivid in her mind as he fell under the blade of an unknown enemy. But it was over now... she was alone and she had no idea where she was.
It was about then that she could feel herself going into shock or panic yet again. She felt nausiated and the damp stone walls around her seemed a blur. As a rat ran across the ground in front of her feet it sounded painfully loud.
"Get ahold of yourself Nalia!" she moaned to herself, looking around. She had to figure out where she was at least. She looked up but saw nothing but a cracked and leaking stone ceiling.

As soon as John had said those words, Ben took off. He dashed down the street, his only thoughts of Nalia and getting out. Wherever she was, he felt she needed him. Just as he rounded the corner, a troop of guards appeared in front of him. They saw him and shouted, each jumping after him. Ben turned on his heel and went in the other direction, the sound of armor just feet behind him. He jumped ontop of a crate and flew through the air, grabbing hold of a window ledge and crawling up. He came up on top of the roofs and started jumping across rooftops. He could distantly hear the guards running after him in the street.
Dear Farore, guide me through this chase and help me find Nalia. he silently prayed, coming up to the town wall that separated it from the rest of Hyrule. The guards on the wall shouted and cocked their bows at him. Ben was pinned, no where to run. Except... he thought, doubling his speed. He flew over the final gap between the buildings and the wall and landed on the walkway, between two archers. Before they could react, Ben jumped again, this time into the river just outside the wall. He plunged into the icy water and let the current take him away. After sometime, Ben climbed out of the water onto shore, dripping wet.

"Good. You're awake Princess." A voice spoke to Nalia. Mark was sitting near her, a scepter that was as big as him, leaning against his shoulder. Mark stood up. He was wearing a black cloak. The dim light only showed the bottom half of Mark's face, underneath his eyes. He kept the scepter in his right hand. "I know this is very startling, and I'm sure you have every reason to be suspicious of me, but please allow me a chance to explain."

Mark paused for a moment, thinking of a way to explain to Nalia what happened. "You've been asleep for a few days. Your castle was under attack. The invader took the castle singlehandedly. He came for you and your family. Your father went to defend you and your mother. The attacker killed him. He then came for you and your mother. You two were backed into a corner of the castle. Your mother got inbetween you and the attacker. She muttered some kind of enchantment. I believe that was the first time I had ever heard the enchantment she spoke. Some magic flowed out of her, and you fell unconscience. The attacker took your mother. Before he could get to you, I rescued you and brought you here."

Sorin grabbed a apple off of the tree he was sitting in and began running towards the castle
"I wonder how everyone is doing"Sorin said smiling approaching the Castle
Sorin walked in and saw no one had greeted him like they usually do when he comes in the castle
"Weird No greeting's or anything"Sorin said to himself
Sorin began going through all the room except his mother's and the Dinning room

Nalia frowned wasn't sure if she could trust this man or not. She didnt' even know him why would he save her? She looked back and saw nothing but a dark path and the same in front. She had a feeling she knew where they were at this point, knowing of stories of an ancient waterway that lead between the castle and a bar somewhere in the town but she decided to ask anyway "Where are we?" she asked cautiously.

    - Ordon Village -

A man, or rather, a creature, featureless, unfeeling, and to the misfortune of the village people, undetected as of yet, stalked around the perimeter of a ranch house. One could have said that this creature was "watching" for something, or someone, but such a notion would be flawed, as the face of it lacked eyes with which to watch. A more accurate term would be that it was "feeling" its surroundings. While at the moment things were quiet, and still, the likelihood of a disturbance was high. This being knew this well, as it would be it that caused such a calamity.

"HEY! YOU! WHAT ARE YA STALKIN' 'ROUND FOR?!"

A harsh male voice burst out behind the creature, which, before the man could even begin to flinch, had lunged out, stabbing forward with its hands, which had assumed the form of razor sharp claws, piercing through the man's chest. He was killed almost immediately, and left for dead by his attacker, which quickly stalked away from him, and into the concealed space within a bush.

Kaiden stopped, hearing the sound of a man's death in the air. He sniffed and caught the scent of something... something evil. he thought. Kaiden checked around, finding a dagger just lying there. Gently, he picked it up and ran his finger over the blade, smiling as it drew blood. The blade was sharp. Very sharp. Kaiden then stepped forward, out of the trees and was shocked by what he saw.
He saw Ordon Village. But... it was not the Ordon Village he knew of. It had changed, from looks to the very essence of it had become something evil. Kaiden smiled, then looked around. The beast was near by, somewhere. "Where are you?" Kaiden asked softly.

"In a secret place of the town. Few know about it." Mark answered. "The bartender's cat. The man who once saved Hyrule. Probably your mother." Mark paused. He started listening to his surroundings. He heard movement behind him. He got up and turned around. There was a big spider standing behind him. A skullita.

Mark stepped back, holding his scepter out behind him. With a flick of his wrist, it instantly turned into a sword. He swung down at the skullita, killing it before it could block. The sword turned back into the scepter. He turned back to Nalia. "We need to get going soon. The sooner we leave the town, the safer you'll be."

    (In Ordon)

Link was just getting through tying a sattle *reasons will be explaned later* on the roof of his home when he heard a scream somewhere within town. Still alwas alert from his journy as a younger man, he jumped up instantly at the sound and reached back only to remember his sword wasn't there. Sighing, he relaxed a little and climbed down the latter until he was back on the ground. He was about to go investigate the sound but found that there was already someone comming back from the direction of town. He recognised her face "Ilia?" he said, concerned when he saw her face. She looked scared.
"Link, Rusl is dead." she said, sounding shocked her face was pale.
Link's eyes widened "What? What happened?" he said.
Ilia shook her head "Some kind of Animal." she said simply "No one saw it but when Rusl was found..." she shook her head, tears briming in her eyes "...No sane human could have been that horrible."
Link nodded "I'm going to go investigate." he said after he hugged her "Get inside. I'll be back soon." he said before he took off toward the village.
"If you see Link(the other link), can you tell him to come home!?" Ilia called after him.
Link waved and nodded to her as he turned the corner and was out of sight to her. Ilia walked back inside, already worried about her family.

    *In Hyrule*

Nalia nodded, she didn't appear too phased by the fact that they had just been attacked by a giant spider. She had seen enough today to not be suprised by much. "Which way is out exactly?" she said.

Kaiden stopped, hearing the voice of an old enemy. He ducked behind a tree and saw Jacob running around. Wait... That's not Jacob. He looks different. Kaiden thought, looking over the man again. Suddenly, he realized it was Link. An younger Link, younger by only some years. Kaiden wanted to attack him. For all he knew, it was actually Jacob's father. But Kaiden held back, not wanting to alert anyone near by to him.

Ben sat down under a tree, trying to think of what to do. He still needed to find Naila, but he had no idea where to begin. Ben gripped the Triforce pendant hanging around his neck, trying to find out what to do. Okay, most likely the kidnapper will not be staying in Castle Town, and he can't get too far in such a short time. So that means they will be near by. Ben let go of the pendant and laid back against the tree. He was just outside the south entrance of Castle Town.

"Take this!" Bando slashed down a Leever as it was circling him. He quickly looked around before breathing a sigh of releif. "Good thing this thing is weak. I woulda had trouble if it was stronger." He sheathed his sword and continued walking along. "It's strange. Normally Eldin Field is crawling with Bulbins and Bulbos. Where are they? Not that I'm complaining, it's nice that they're gone. They cause to much trouble anyway." Bando kept walking before he noticed smoke coming from the mountains. Death Mountain acting up again? No wait, that smokes coming from the left of the mountain. From the angle I'm seeing it, that would place it at... Kakariko! Bando began to run towards the smoke, hoping he was wrong the entire time.

"Above us." Mark answered. "An extremely rich man, Jovanni, lives above here. He has a hole in his house that leads down to here." Mark handed Nalia a black cloak. "You're gonna need to put this on. Can't risk you getting spotted while we're in the town. We'll head east to Lake Hylia."

    >I think that is the Wii version compass direction to Lake Hylia in TP.<

The beast in Ordon Village, The Persona, a manifest of thousands of souls gathered into one entity, malleable by its own will and, an actor in all essence, walked its path around the ranch house. Even under such silence in the village, and the knowledge that no one had found the man, it could sense that its presence had been noticed by another. Feeling the surrounding area through its extra sensory means, it looked from left to right, and up and down. Where ever this person was, that knew of it, it would find them, and disassemble them.

While incapable of speech, it could think quite clearly, and as it could think, it could easily plan. It's first thought was of the man it had just killed. For the sake of its stealth it would need the man's appearance to evade its pursuers.

Back tracking along its path from where it had slain the man had fallen, it stood over the fresh corps, running its hands along its length. This long stroke, as the brush of a painter, was creating a an effect upon The Persona, which was now the canvas for all that wad once this man, to be shown in full. As it finished, the image of this man poised itself around The Persona. It looked exactly like the man now. Scruffy, heavyset, unkempt in hygiene, and adorned by a set of tattered animal hide clothes.

    Perfect.

Link had gone on one of his many adventures. He hadn't come unprepaired, with him he had his trusty slingshot with deku nuts, His wooden shiled with his favorite wooden sword. Now a wooden shiled my seem chidish, but Link had made it with his father replicating the famous master sword.

Link had been exploring an unfamiliar part of the woods, for him at least. And fortunatly for him he hadn't had a use for most of his weapons apart from using the slingshot to get his shield back from a strange looking monkey. When it began to get dark Link decided he best be getting home, He didn't want another lecture from his mother saying how much like his father he was with constantly worrying her.

Link had gotten pretty dirty while on his adventure and decided he would try to clean of his shirt at least.
Stopping at a nearby stream not far from his house, he took of his shirt and pushed it into the cold dark water. Washing his shirt Link heard something behind him, considering the fact that he was close to home and it was evening he thought nothing more of it. He passed it off as his father who had been sent by mother to look for him, or some sort of animal. Pulling his shirt out of the stream Link heald it up to the moonlight to admire his efforts of cleaning.

Next thing Link knew he was on the ground dazed by what had happned Link took awhile to gather what had happned. He had been hit in the head, pretty hard from what he could tell. Sitting up he saw some dark figures rooting through his equipment which he left aside. Deciding he was well out numbered Link sat up and ran. Realizing he was running in the direction of his house Link took a short a cut and saw his house. Hearing something not far behind him Link got abit spooked.

Link burst through the door of his house falling from the force of his entry. Suddenly remembering the dore was open he jumped up and slamed the door closed. Sitting down with his back against the door, Link realized him mother was home. Still being tired from running Link simply laid his head against the door and tried to catch his breath.

Bando ran into Kakariko to see people crowded around the bomb shop, which was burning. He ran up to the nearest person. "What happened?"
"Something ran in, started a fire and ran out. We didn't chase it cause we don't want this fire to burn down the whole village."
    "Is anybody still inside?"
"The shop owner, Barnes." Bando dropped his pack and was about to run in when the man grabbed his arm. "You'll never make it kid. Don't throw your life away." Bando ripped his arm away. "I know but we can't do nothing! Isn't there any way?" That's when Bando had an idea. He quickly grabbed his pack and pulled out the spellbook. "Can anybody here do magic?" Nobody answered him. Great. I guess I'll try. Bando opened the book and flipped through it. "Water spell, water spell, water spell... here!" Bando quickly read over it before dropping the book. Ok, concentrate on water and clouds to create rain. Water and clouds. Water and clouds... Bando closed his eyes and cleared his mind of everything except storm clouds. A couple villagers picked up his spellbook and started to do the same. Soon clouds began to darken the sky. Everyone was silent, all praying and concentrating on rain. Then Bando felt something drop on his head. He looked up to see a few more drops. The drops multiplied until soon an entire downpour of rain started. The burning building began to steam as the water raced to put out tge flames. Everyone cheered as the fire soon vanished. Bando then grabbed his book only to find it ruined. The rain had caused the ink to bleed out of its pages. "Oh man. This was the only copy. I guess it'll work out though. I've been needing to head back to Castle town."
Suddenly a man covered in black grime burst out of the building. He took a look at the sky and smiled. "Well now ain't that some good luck."
