The SWF

    To those who don't know what the SWF are in the first place, let me clarify. This is the Smash World Forums (or the Smash Boards, take your pick. It can be found at Smash World Forums) and they are one of the biggest Super Smash Brothers communities on the internet.

    Now then, before a mod comes in and moves this from the debate section to the gaming section, let me make it clear that this is a serious question about the website.

    Firstly, why does it lag so much? Websites such as myspace or wikipedia which much larger traffic and data being sent at times have a fraction of the lag that the SWF does. Is it out of sheer laziness as the owner won't bother to try and make it run faster? Or do you think theres an actual reason behind the lag?

    Secondly, why do you have to 'apply' to enter the debate hall. I think that only excepting five people on a biweekly basis is absolutely ridiculous. I think that the mods just don't want to have to deal with the possible spam/repeated posts if every person was allowed, which means that they just don't want to do there job.

    Thirdly, when are the mods going to stop posting 'NO FLAMERS' in the site rules, yet not do anything about them? Seriously, I'm getting really sick of the mods talking shit on that website and then them not doing anything.

    Who agrees? Who doesn't? Who just thinks I'm crazy to be pissed off so much at a community of online gaming nerds?

    I'm a nerd. I am also a member of said site. However I am not good enough at the game so I don't post much. Still I know a mod is going to say the magic word and lock this soon. A wonder you survived this long. It could be a bad server to answer another question. They need some serious restaffing. I don't mean to sound like a mod but this is not a debate and is better asked outside of the debates or in the gaming section. Here is the magic word I am waiting for, not that this will do anything.
